I have had my car serviced by Village Volkswagen in Chattanooga on many occasions. Overall my experience there has been exceptional. Until now and a previous occassion with this same service advisor. My 2024 Atlas was experiencing an issue that require my car to be kept most of the day according to the service advisor (Dakota) in order to diagnose the problem. I dropped my car off the next morning. He took my keys and ask had I gotten a loaner car. I said no, you told me you would not know if the car would be finished today or have to remain until it was diagnose during the appointment. Dakota then informed me that the appointment only gets your car checked in, not that it would be looked at that day. I have had other appointments here and the car previously had been seen when scheduled. I wanted to speak to the Service Manager (Brandon) but he had not made it in. I left the vehicle and called back to speak with the Service Manager because I was disappointed in what I was told and couldn't believe this was happening. Brittany answered the phone, I asked to speak with Brandon and she wanted to know what I wanted to talk to him about so she could tell him prior to him talking to me. She then replied is this Mrs.W., and I said yes. Several minutes went by. After he was brief on the reason I was calling he answered. I recapped my conversation with Dakota. He now, asked had I reached out to get a loaner? I again replied why would I do that if I don't know if the car is going to be completed today or not. I then said, when I request a loaner they to want to know approximately how long do I think I will need the loaner. I heard other voices in the background. I could tell this was not going to go well. And suddenly he said you can tell them you will need it until next week. Without looking at my car this determination was made. It felt like retaliation had reared up. I complained and the powers at be were going to make me wait, even if the issue was simple and could have been completed today. I voiced my opinion and dissatisfaction in how an appointment became, not really an appointment. So the vehicle would now sit at the dealership for days as a power move. This could have been avoided had the service advisor taken a moment to explain what would go on when I made the appointment. You may think, just get a loaner. Well I drive a full size SUV, and have to take a child to college this weekend and need every bit of trunk capacity that my vehicle has with the back seats down. So a loaner, which in the past have been compact vehicles would not be feasible. I said I was coming to get my vehicle and I may have to take it to Atlanta to have it done. I and my husband went to the dealership to pick the car up. He went to the Service department and I went to the front desk and ask for the owner's number because I was beyond disappointed in the interactions. I knew the Bowers family owned the dealership. A gentleman that introduced himself as the GM (Shannon) said I could talk to him. I was reluctant at first because when people work closely together sometimes they become friends and they will not take corrective action when issues arise with customers and employees. After speaking with the GM for several moments he told me that he was in the room and heard the conversation. He explained the process and what slows down the process. I felt at ease and understood. At first he didn't understand the issue with leaving the car and getting a loaner. And then when I told him about getting a kid to school he understood, why I need the vehicle back. My husband walked up and stated that Dakota said we could not bring our vehicle back here for service. Shannon said, we could. What made Dakota think he could make that decision. PRIVILEGE, ENTITLEMENT, all because he was mad I complained. What reaction did he think those words were going to get. The only reaction; UNPROFESSIONAL,

Persistence without the high-pressure sales tactics. That would perfectly describe my salesman Scotty and how he was able to help me negotiate one of the best deals I have ever gotten on a vehicle. And I've bought (too 😆) many vehicles over the years. I thought there was ZERO chance of getting what I needed for my trade-in towards the new Ford Maverick I was wanting in order to make a deal possible. And initially, I was right. Scotty's sales manager stepped up and made me a very fair offer for my car, but the numbers still weren't working for my budget. I was about to leave when the sales manager asked me to give him a little more time to see what he could do for me. He came back out and absolutey BLEW MY MIND 🤯 with a bigger offer for my trade which made getting the Maverick possible! Even Scotty looked shocked! 😅 Now I have no idea how he was able to do so, and I'm not promising he can do it for you as well. But if you are buried in negative equity on your car but wanting or needing something else, then go give Scotty and his manager(s) a chance to work something out for you.

BUYER BEWARE! Shottenkirk Nissan/Riverside Nissan are a bunch of scam artists and dishonest! JT (think he’s gone), Tori the Finance Manager, and Sarah Kate are soulless snakes who will lie, cheat and steal from you! Sold me a 2024 Titan Platinum Reserve with 2,200 miles for $54,000. Was told it was Certified Preowned and a Nissan Fleet Vehicle. Complete lie! The truck had all the certified preowned stickers on the truck which Shottenkirk/Riverside, Shottenkirk Hyundai and Honda are still doing on NON-Certified vehicles! Got the truck home and found out it wasn’t certified and couldn’t get the hood to open! Called them to ask what to do, lots of xx and never got a call back. Truck sat in Nissan of Cumming for 10 days and was told it needed body work to align the hood. Estimates from collision shops for $2,000 to $10,000 to fix the front end. Had to get Nissan executives and USA all the way up to Japan to get involved and almost 2 months later the truck was replaced by Nissan. STAY AWAY!

I was hesitant to shop here because of the reviews, and past experience, but after learning they had sold out and changed owners i gave them a chance. Let me tell you I am so glad I did! I worked with Mr. White, and I can't say enough about him and my whole experience! The Staff are all amazing, I had my 2 yr old son and mother with me and they were so sweet and kind to us all. No one was worried about making a "deal" they wanted me to get what I wanted, listening to my needs in a vehicle and allowing me time to process every step, offer and option. From the hand shake to the final signature, this was the absolute easiest and best vehicle purchase I have ever had. Not once was I pushed or felt unheard, every piece of paper was explained and they gave me time to process it all and make decisions based on my income and capabilities. After being at another dealer the day before and feeling rushed and pressured to buy that day, and was treated like I was a number and not a customer I feared even trying again. At the other dealer I wanted to leave, felt like I wasn't being heard and was almost sold a vehicle that actually would not have been able to tow what I needed it to tow. After 2 hours there, they ran my credit 11 times through wvery bank in ga, and I had to demand for my trade in keys back to go pick up my son from daycare before they closed, and they were still pushing me to stay and sign my life away to a vehicle that wasn't right for me. At Dalton Kia, and working with Mr. White I can honestly say I never once felt like I wanted to leave, they even fed us pizza, and apologized for the wait, even though I was the one dragging it out wanting to know all the details. The value they gave me for my trade in was definitely fair and the price for the vehicle I purchased was beyond reasonable! I was heard when I said I needed an extended warranty and they asked my concerns, and built me a service agreement and warranty to fit those concerns. They ran my credit and called the banks they knew would fit my score and payment preferences. They got me the best deal and Joshua the finace advisor was so kind and explained it all so well. I honestly can not say enough about this dealership,and the new owners and employees! Thank you Kia Of Dalton and all the Staff!!

Part #1 I purchased a Jeep Wrangler from here back in May '24. Outside of one 1 little red flag, Everything was fine in the first 6-7 months of owning the jeep. The little red flag is that I went in for an oil change and tire rotation, and Amanda told me I needed to get the lug nuts replaced. I said I will get them done soon. 3 months later I went for another Oil change and tire rotation and after they were done I asked Amanda if the lug nuts looked good and she said yes( I haven't replaced the lug nuts at that point). On January 30th 2025, I took my Jeep in for a routine oil change and after 30 minutes of waiting, Amanda came up to me in the waiting room and asked if I had been involved in a car accident recently and I said no why? She said because your front driver side axle seal is leaking and she explained what that meant and quoted me $884 to have it fixed. 2 days later I came to pick the vehicle up Amanda said they have to keep it longer because they found that no only is the driver side Axle seal leaking but so is the passenger front axle seal and the rear passenger axle seal. After a quote on that, it comes out to $2,262.33. which is wild that this is happening because my vehicle was driving just fine before all this. They said the vehicle should be done February 7th. I said ok cool. I showed up after work around 4-5pm (due to them not keeping me updated on my vehicle) on the 7th and the service department said it's not ready and that it should be ready on Monday the 10th. On Monday the 10th, I showed up at 4-5pm (due to them not keeping me updated on my vehicle) and the service department said it's still not ready because they test drove the jeep, it was running hot. So they are going to look at it on Tuesday the 11th. I showed up around the same time on Tuesday and they said that the engine oil cooler needs to be replaced. The quote was another $1,323( $250 for oil cooler adaptor, $61.10 for intake gasket, $25.65 for hose oil cooler outlet, $28.50 for coolant, $18.06 for a bleed skrew, $67.78 for a cool temp sensor, $324.21 for a WATER PUMP and a random $490 to what I hope was labor because there's nothing beside it on the receipt. So I told them that this was ridiculous because my Jeep was driving completely fine before this. They said they'll offer a discount when everything is done. They also won't charge for labor on the driver side axle seal. Meanwhile through this, they said the thermostat was possibly the issue(it wasn't) so they said they won't charge me for the new thermostat cause that was their fault on the misdiagnosis. They told me they should be done in two days. Two days later , I show up to pick up the vehicle at 4-5pm (due to them not keeping me updated on my vehicle) and surprise surprise it's not ready. Reason being, is that the Tech that was working on my Jeep called out sick. After complaining, they finally let me use a rental vehicle because I couldn't keep missing work. I used the vehicle until the 18th( I guess thats something right?) when I go to pay for the work, the total was $2,852.95. they took off $150 for a "dealership discount".

Never had such amazing customer service. I was totally surprised. Ethan from Edd Kirby Service was prompt, courteous keeping me informed about everything. Was awesome to hear from and the work performed has been awesome. After the delay on getting the transmission in, he let me know as soon as it was there and it was in immediately. Thank you, Ethan, for changing my opinion of Edd Kirby Service Department. I will not hesitate to return when needed. Ethan deserves a raise.

We met Stephen Hall who spent his time with us to successfully pair, connect and demo the various features that the vehicle now had to offer. His patience and communication qualities were outstanding. He was very knowledgeable in his presentation and easy to talk to.
