I recently received a letter stating that there were recalls on my 2004 Dodge Durango and instructing me to contact my local dealership to make arrangements to have the recalls taken care of. I was happy with the process of getting everything scheduled. I dropped my vehicle off at the specified date and time. The repairs didn't take but two days. I picked my vehicle up and all seemed fine, however, the next morning I had a dead battery. Thinking I may have left something on, I charged the battery only to discover the battery dead again later. I took the vehicle back to the dealer and explained my situation. I left the vehicle with them and they called me the next day saying I could pick my vehicle up. When I arrived, I was informed that because aftermarket headlights were installed, that was probably the cause of the problem. They recommended I take my vehicle to an auto repair shop and have them check it out. I live on Social security disability and cannot afford to take it to a repair shop. I replaced the headlights with factory headlights but that did not solve the problem. I did not have the problem before taking it to Hill-Kelly and have tried everything I know of to locate the problem. A couple of months later I still have the problem with no other resources to try and fix the problem I feel that Hill-Kelly cause and then useing the headlight change, put the fault on me.
