I had an awesome experience this week at Hyundai IE. After emailing them about a new Ioniq I was interested in, General Sales Manager Tony called me back directly (as opposed to the internet sales people you usually get at other dealerships, who then need to run everything by the GSM anyway, or claim they can get you a deal that they can't). He offered me a fantastic deal and we negotiated everything over the phone so it was all set when I came in. Jackie helped me out when I came in for my appointment, went through all the features on the car, was super friendly and informative about the entire process. There was no attempt at re-negotiating in person since Tony and I had already worked out a deal before I came in. Reza helped handle my trade-in, and he was also super welcoming and friendly. I did the paperwork with Sal, it was straightforward and quick, with no attempts to add anything on I wasn't aware of. Jackie gave me her number and has been in contact to make sure everything with the vehicle has been good since I left and if I had any questions that came up after I drove it a bit. The entire process from start to finish was enjoyable, comfortable, and honest. After having terrible and somewhat traumatic experiences at other dealerships and past purchases, it was a relief to leave feeling like I got a great deal and they were good people that took me seriously. Have already been recommending Hyundai IE to friends.

Took my car in to Central Valley Volkswagen Hyundai on 9/13/21 for recalls and warranty on a previous fix. The service advisor (Mitchal Donahue) let me know that i had to pay for inspections that i did not consent to and while this is happening he gets angry because i refused to pay for something didn’t agree to. I felt disrespected when he started to raise his voice in-front of all the people their present. I talked to his manager and he apologized for his worker. People like that shouldn't be working for a company that is known for a good reputation and customer service. Please follow up with this report and let me know how this was handled.

Had to repurchase a new Hyundai the one I purchased on July 7th 2021 from Ontario Hyundai was defective and in the middle of a buy back.
From Lauren,Tony, Sales Manager and Finance they all worked hard to get me into another vehicle because I still had an open loan on the defective one. They managed to get me into a vehicle nicer then one I had originally purchased. They all get 5 stars from me on the purchase of the new vehicle, hopefully service department is just as great, and if for any reason I need to speak with the GM hopefully he will see me.
Hyundai has been great on the buyback, but I will never go back to Ontario Hyundai, GM Sam Labib has never returned a call, email or message through the whole buyback process.
Riverside Hyundai made me feel at ease and everyone came out said Hi and introduced themselves, which I greatly appreciated.

I said great but I’m coming 3 hours away and am getting a hotel and would see him tomorrow when they opened. I never got pick and or a message back . So when I got down there I called , he told me the suv was already prior to arriving . But is was placed on there Website for $ 31,194 I asked to speak to a manager he told me there was nothing he could do and that they were to busy to contact me . He did tell me he had a limited for 38k. I said I didn’t want to pay that much he told me he sold the SEL for 39k and that he was selling them for a premium. Now mind you Hyundai msrp is 33 k . This dealer is a ripoff don’t go.

I made it more than two weeks ahead of time and I decided to call the day before my appointment just to get an idea of how long the service would be. They then told me that actually they would have to cancel my appointment because apparently inspections can’t be done on a Saturday (of course this isn’t mentioned anywhere online) and I had I not called ahead of time I would have driven all the way to the dealership before I was informed. Pretty disappointing no one looked over my appointment and could make this realization for a full two weeks and now the earliest I can apparently get in is mid-September. Won’t be coming back here in the future.

These people are unscrupulous -- I was provided with a written quote for a lease, including MSRP, their Sales Price, Monthly lease payments, and the Residual Value of the car in question -- sent to me via email by salesman, Cody Blanchard -- a brown-nosing incompetent who eventually admitted he'd "only been working there seven months, and didn't know anything about leasing."
The quote was again confirmed, both verbally and in writing, upon my arrival at the dealership to finalize the leasing of the car -- by the sales manager, Luis Vasquez, whom we might assume knows something about leasing.
I spent approximately $100 in travel costs and an entire 10-hour day, including travel time and three hours at the dealership "finalizing the paperwork," until the finance manager finally revealed that he was not going to honor the quote, and was bumping up the residual value (the cost of the car if you want purchase it at the end of the lease) by over $1,000.
Cody is an idiot, and, whenever he refused to honor quotes he'd given me over the phone, I pressed him, and showed him my notes on what he'd told me (including amounts as critical as the sales price, the msrp, and the monthly lease payment, as well as extras, such as the proffered 40% discount on a cargo cover, for instance), would backtrack and say that he "doesn't know anything about prices, and any price he quoted me was only an estimate." (He'd quoted me three different monthly payments on three different phone calls, until I finally pinned him down and said if he wanted to lease me the car for the first amount he quoted, I'd come in and give him a check.)
He's all about being your friend and "helping you," but in the end, is not a man of his word. Nor is Luis, the sales manager. Don't trust a thing these people tell you -- they are not, under any circumstances, to be trusted!

I wouldn't recommend purchasing a car here. My wife and I went in on July 30th to purchase a Tuscon. We were in a rush so we ended up paying $22,500 in cash for a down-payment and were told that the salesperson, Marcela, would bring the car to our house with the contract to sign. We appreciated the offer and were happy to take them up on it.
We were told that Marcela would be at our house around 9pm. However, 11pm rolled around and still no car or paperwork. They took our $22,500 and never stuck to what they promised. Dissapointed and frustrated my wife and I told Marcela that we would be back in the following morning to complete the process.
The next morning we go in and the she is apologetic about not delivering the car the night before. She ended up helping other customers before finalizing our deal. This is terrible summer service however we told her that it was alright. The Desk Manager came out to apologize and promised that he would mail a gift card to us for the inconvenience. We still have not received the gift card 18 days later.
Our experience was poor and we are very disappointed. On top of this we ended up having to pay for all the ridiculous markups. Due to the car market right now most dealerships have them but they weren't willing to negotiate much. I will not be purchasing from them again.
