Dan worked with my wife to purchase a new Ford F-150 King Ranch pickup. We had decided that we were no longer in need of our 2016 Ford F-350 with just 48,000 miles on it. There was was no longer a need for the high horsepower and towing capabilities of that truck and we had intended to sell it privately. In about six weeks time the new F-150 King Ranch spent more time in the Deyarman Service Department than it did with us because the truck had a hidden factory flaw which kept draining the battery. Dan and his colleagues in the Sales Department and Terry Gholson the Service Manager made sure that each time that her new F-150 was towed back to their Service Department that the towing bill was prepaid by the dealership and that my wife had a new loaner pickup truck to drive. After the 4th failure for a dead battery occurred on the F-150 King Ranch everyone was pretty exasperated and it was decided by the Ford Motor Company Customer Service Department that the factory would purchase the truck back from us at the full purchase price. Dan and several others in the sales department talked over the offer made by the factory and decided that the Deyarman Dealership would like us to consider having them buy back the F-150 and take our F-350 in trade for a 2022 F-250 Demonstrator that had all the options that we needed. After crunching the numbers and driving the new F-250 for a couple of days we had a deal that I think made us all very satisfied. I'd say that's "Going The Distance for Their Customers". This group of professionals has easily won our 5 STAR Rating for professionalism, courtesy, and product representation at their Indianola, Iowa Store. .

Purchased an SUV from Granger in 2018 with Lifetime Powertrain Warranty. Water pump went out Labor day weekend 2022. Water pump is covered under warranty. They want to charge to replace the fluids. They also want to charge a diagnosis fee. Warranty paperwork shows diagnosis fee supposed to be covered. What else are they trying to charge me for that is covered under warranty? Warranty website is a joke and you can't reach anyone on the phone number listed on paper work given at time of purchase. Warranty sounds a little suspicious!

A few years ago I was looking at purchasing a vehicle from Vaughn's. The salesman said the vehicle history was clean. I checked for myself and it had (2) previous claims, one claim was major damage and only a couple thousand dollars from being totaled. I purchased something elsewhere. I have recently been looking to purchase another vehicle and thought I would give them another chance. They do not return phone calls or messages. It took days for a salesman to call me back. I told him exactly what i was looking for and to let me know if something comes in. A week later the exact vehicle is now on their website. I left messages again and I have heard nothing back. I will not be contacting again. So much for buying local, I tried!

My wife and I were looking for a minivan a few years ago. When we walked on the lot we were ignored by the staff. We decided to go elsewhere after being left on the lot for about a half hour. Just recently I decided to give them another chance. I wanted to order a new truck. I walked into the dealership and I sat down with a sales person while another person took my truck for a ride so they could give me my trade value. It took close to a month to get a text from the sales person saying they were still working on my trade. It took me one day to get my trade value from another dealer. The level of service is horrible. Not just one bad experience but to have it happened twice? I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.

My family needed a second family vehicle. Checking on Autotraders website, I found a great deal on a used vehicle priced fair, with great pictures detailing the car. I contacted Thys online, and they got back to me within half an hour. I live in Cedar Rapids, and the dealership location was in Belle Plaine. I made arrangements to test drive and inspect the vehicle the same day. I let Josh, the salesperson, know that I had to discuss the vehicle with my wife before committing. He contacted me the following afternoon to follow up on my family's decision. We decided to purchase the vehicle, and made a small deposit over the phone, and made arrangements to pick the car up on the weekend. All my questions were answered in a timely fashion, there was no upselling of packages or warranties or any other time wasting things. On arrival to pay for and pick up the vehicle, my family was there ten minutes. It was not a rushed 'get out of our store' 10 minutes, it was a respectful pleasant purchase.
This is the second used vehicle that I have purchased from Thys, and both times have been amazing. It is well worth the time to drive a little ways out of town for the speed and quality of service, and my total time between the two trips for this vehicle, including travel, was less than the time I've had wasted by bigger dealerships in Cedar Rapids or Iowa City.
