A very pleasant experience at the dealership - mkcar
I had a pleasant experience buying a car at Darcars. Mike Coomer was the sales person and he was very helpful. This was the easiest car buying experience that I have had and I've bought a lot of cars over the years.

Made the impossible, possible! - Weatherholtz,S
I had the pleasure of working with Rob Stevens when searching for a car for my son. Long story short, my sons car died and I was in need of a car for him. After spending time searching and hearing nonsense from other dealers, I took one last stop at Younger. My daughter purchased a 2018 Mitsubishi Mirage from Younger previously and it was a great experience, so I hoped this would again work out for me. It was late on a Saturday, dealership was about to close, but Rob approached me, I relayed to him my budget, what I was looking for, and explained the situation, basically laid it out. Rob showed me a certified Toyota Corolla, which I happened to believe would be a great car for my son. Due to time constraints, the purchase did not happen Saturday, but Rob and his crew worked tirelessly to secure an approval, after some assistance on my end. I was very pleased with his knowledge and I appreciated that he worked with me around my busy schedule from purchase to pick up. I also want to extend how pleased I am with Cheryl in finance. She was absolutely awesome from me signing the paperwork to obtaining the appropriate signatures to pick up of the car. I recommended a few others to Younger and my sons girlfriend also purchased a car from Younger, she is just as pleased. I plan to make future purchases, if needed, from Younger. My son loves his car!
5 Stars - Connie
Austin provided us with a fantastic experience at this dealership. We scheduled an appointment with him on a Saturday, and he was very welcoming, engaging, courteous, and responsive through our entire visit. We had visited multiple dealerships the same day, and Austin’s service was a cut above the rest. He let us look at the cars we were interested in for as long as we needed, answered our many(!) questions, and stayed with us after close to finish signing for the vehicle. I recommend Austin to anyone interested in visiting this dealership!
Great Customer Service - Lorilye

Luis was very responsive from the outset, and keen to make sure I understood the key features of the Prius and had a good opportunity for test driving. He was both personable and professional, and made sure to offer us a good deal, working with his manager.
Very user-friendly service entirely ! - Leosebs
I recently ( April 2019 ) purchased my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee from the Bayside Pre-Owned facility in Prince Frederick, and through the entire process I was very pleased with the timely service and upbeat cooperative assistance of the user-friendly salesperson Margo Schalestock and manager Mike Austin. I really couldn't have been more pleased during the entire experience which they truly made quite easy for me. Many thanks again, and yes, I'll continue to refer friends to Bayside in the future, you can bet on that. Sincerely,
S. Eric Briggs - Huntingtown MD .

First Class Organization - MastersM
My wife and I have just made our second purchase from this location. The staff here all made us feel as though we were their top priority. Everyone was polite and helpful. The GM Phil Formichelli sets a great example for his staff with top notch customer service. And our salesperson Govinda Ban went above and beyond from start to finish. Fitzgerald Auto Mall always delivers!

They are a car dealership. Expect no more and no less. - ToyotaMeh
I did not expect the dealer to post a glowing review in my name on this site without my permission, so here is my actual experience. I initially thought my experience was on par for working with any car dealer... but when I thought about it, I had to claw my way to the price I wanted, and I was told things that were not true by the sales team.
I was told that I would "get a great deal" since it's the end of the month. There was no such effort made to get me any sort of deal.
I was told that I could keep in touch with my sales person for additional questions, but after I shared my thoughts about my experience with him, he never responded to me ever again.
I was told that a competitor's price includes a Toyota rebate because Antwerpen competes with that dealership all the time, justifying why Antwerpen should charge me $1000 more. Luckily for me, I called the competitor and confirmed that was not true.
Not a good experience - Abran
This review is not focused on any particular salesperson, but rather the company's selling tactics. I went there with a preapproval from my credit union, but was told I needed to fill out their credit application to "verify my identity". This is a lie, a tactic used 2 offer you their loan options. Very deceptive practice.
Horrible Experience with Sales Person - Yemi
I bought a 2020 Toyota corolla at Toyota of Bowie and after I was made to sign that I have received two keys for the vehicle during the paperwork, after the car was delivered to me I was given only one key. I asked the sales representative about the second key and he lied to me that I can come back later to collect the second key. I came back later but the key was not given to me, I was told they would have to cut it for me at some very inconvenient time. It was obvious they have misplaced the second key and did not make any effort to get me another one. The sales person, I think his name is Ayodele was very unprofessional, rude and lack integrity in his dealing with me. What an overall horrible experience with the Sales Rep!
Bad management - Sunny
Never go this dealership really bad behavior I make police report also because the xxxx my car I go for service today never ever go this place
Thanks again Lewis Scott - Rob2019
I usually don't write reviews but I wanted to say thank you to the Koons dealership of Easton, Md. From Kimberlee Kelly who was on the ball when it came to getting back to me promptly from all my emails I sent. My Salesman Lewis Scott who made buying a new 2019 Camry a pleasurable experience. He answered all my questions I had. He went above and beyond the call of duty. I bought and signed off on a new car. But before I picked up the car that they did not have on there lot I was suppose to get the car in a few days. But the following day decided I wanted to change the color of the car. Lewis went out of his way to find that color of car I wanted. My wife and I were both very happy! Lewis was a great guy and would do anything to help you out. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a new Toyota to go down to Easton Md. To a beautiful dealership with some good people working there.
Thank you again,
Paint job did not match - Cholt80811
My Chevy truck was hit since I live inEdgewood I decided to take my truck to a local dealer for repairs. I have met the owners of Thomson’s on many occasions and was impressed with their commitment to the community so I decided to use them. When I went to pick my truck up the passenger side bed fender was painted a shade darker then the rest of the truck. They tried to tell me it was due to fading, but the entire truck was just repainted two years earlier. When I brought it to their attention they said it is what it is.
Great Customer Service - TheGraysx2
Bobby S. did a great job keeping us informed and letting us know what our Highlander needed and what options/cost were involved. Thanks for taking care of us.
Great Customer Service - Lleary1
Christian in sales is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and kind. If your looking for a Toyota he is a great person to talk to at the Koons dealership. He was not pushy and was very understanding.
Repair work - Upsetwork
Had repair body work and paint work done on my wife’s van with complete disappointment...they did not match the paint correctly. On top of that there are a few spots of run off of paint. Huge spot completely missed. The alignment isn’t correct as stated it would be. Grease marks all over doors on the inside to include sun visors, where the speaker is for the rear view mirror...the list continues unfortunately. If there were an option to upload photos for reviews the would be added!!!
Major lack of pride with work. As a veteran i pay attention to detail.
If you care and love your vehicle I recommend that you find a different location!
FRAUD! Check behind to make sure completed what was billed - Angry Camry Owner
I was told by the sales representative that if I purchased the premium warranty on my factory certified 2015 xse Camry when I purchased it last Thanksgiving 18, that for the next three years all I would have to do is pay for gas, tires and brakes. So when I got home from a business trip Memorial Day weekend to find 2" of standing water in the bottom of the car, mold growing on the carpets, on the suede and leather seats, even mildew on the ceiling, and their service department told me the evaporator drain was clogged but I was responsible for the $3,600 in damages and I needed to file a claim with my insurance, I was not happy. Nor was I happy with the work that they did, the seats weren't put back correctly the trim wasn't put on correctly and the car still smelled like mildew when I picked it up on June 25th, the smell never went away. On July 23rd, (3 1/2 weeks later) I found standing water under the seat again, and I brought it right back to Koons Toyota. This time the service department says that the evaporator box is cracked, and it's a new leak, completely unrelated, and I need to file another insurance claim to fix the new water damage.
I'm pretty sure no one in their right mind is going to believe that only 7 months after purchasing a factory certified Toyota with 50K miles on it that two completely unrelated leaks occurred in the same exact part of the car, three weeks apart from each other, and both flooded the car with water. So far the dealership is saying it's not their responsibility to fix. Everyone else I've talked to about this including 3 USAA adjusters and Toyota corporate thinks they misdiagnosed the problem in the first place, or at the very least missed the cracked evaporator box, and should be responsible for the damages, but the dealership is refusing to fix it.
But that's not the worst part. At the beginning of the first (month long) water damage repair, they were also supposed to change the oil, rotate the tires and patch a nail I had in my back right tire, as part of the 60K mile certified / warranty maintenance agreement. The paperwork I took with me on June 25 stated that they patched the tire, rotated the tires, and changed the oil . But when I went to drive it off the lot, my back right tire was still low. So though the paperwork explicitly stated they had patched the tire and changed the oil, they had done neither.
In fact, the nail was in the sidewall, so it could not have been patched. It had to be replaced instead. Then the service advisor thought to check the oil to make sure it had been changed, and it was black. It's not the first time that they have failed to rotate the tires, but I didn't think to look to make sure the oil had been changed on other visits. I never thought I would have to check over a Toyota dealership's work. I don't know if they changed the oil in that car once in any of the 3 times I brought it there, other than after I caught them. It would be one thing if they forgot, but the paperwork clearly stated the work had been done, and I have been trusting that paperwork. If the sidewall had blown out on the highway it could have killed me, my family, or somebody else on the road if I hadn't realized that tire wasn't rotated. 2 days later I was due to drive 600 miles to Lake Erie and back. That's not just abysmal service. That's complete negligence.
Please heed my warning. You don't want to lose your time and especially your money chasing them down trying to get them to complete repairs, be out 24K so far like I am, or worse lose a family member because they didn't complete something you counted on in order to be safe on the road.
Just go somewhere else. I sure wish I had.
I wouldn't trust Koons Toyota of Annapolis with anything valuable, let alone the investment you are making in your future.
I can't be the only person this has happened to either.
Horrible oil change experience - Donna
I brought my 2004 Highlander in for routine oil change on 7/22/2019. Two days later my husband noticed oil leaking from vehicle. Returned to Darcars 7/24/2019 (same day I notice leak). After waiting 30 min informed by manager, Mehdi Keshti, that oil is leaking from drain plug that he admits was stripped by technician and because of this it couldn't be tightened. He then tells me I need a new oil pan at a cost of $806.18. I explained I don't know why I have to pay for your technician's mishap. My oil has only been changed by this dealership since I bought it in Dec 2003 and I've never had a problem until now. Mr Keshti goes on to tell me it happened because of wear and tear and my car is "15 yrs old and nothing last forever'. He further states that this is a problem they've been having with the Highlander. Now even the dumbest mechanic knows an oil drain plug only gets stripped because either it was over tightened, put in crooked or an impact was improperly used to tighten it and wear and tear have nothing to do with it. Further if plug couldn't be tightened 2 days after oil change, how was it tightened on day of oil change. Technician knew he stripped it then and said and did nothing about it. In the package of recommendations I received when I picked up my car on 7/22/19, not one mention of drain plug being stripped because of wear and tear. Fortunately this situation wasn't made worse as my car could have sustained significant damage if this oil leak had not been detected as early as it was. This tactic is very deceiful and dishonest and I wonder how many times has this happened to other unsuspecting customers. So anyone reading this BEWARE and make sure you check your vehicle for leaks after oil change and remember drain plugs can last life of vehicle and NEVER EVER get stripped because of "wear and tear". Darcars should be ashamed for being so dishonest
I was surprised and very disappointed. Mom - EKlin99
I was scheduled, with an appointment, for an oil change and tire rotation. After an hour and a half, a clerk came to talk to another woman who was waiting, she explained about the slight wear on her tires and strongly suggested an alignment for $99.00. About 15 minutes later a gentleman came to me and strangely said the exact same thing, almost verbatim. Very curious. I said no and he said they would finish up soon. At the 2 hour mark I went to the counter and asked the young woman if she could check on how much longer it would be stating it was now over 2 hours. She said I would have to go to the service building and ask, apparently the meaning of Customer Service is lost on her and possibly her phone does not work. I went to the other building asked about my car then had to follow a gentleman back to the same girl behind the counter to pay. Seriously, there are a hundred places I can take my car to change the oil, I plan on checking them out the next time. Sorry, not sorry.
IF YOU WANT HONESTY - RUN FAR AND FAST AWAY FROM POHANKA! - J GORDON
I PRICED A NEW 2019 TACOMA - VERY SPECIFIC IN WHAT I WANTED. WAS QUOTED A VERY COMPETITIVE PRICE. THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE TRUCK ON THE LOT BUT IT WAS COMING IN. I DIDN'T MIND BECAUSE I WAS SELLING MY OLD TRUCK ON MY OWN. OVER THE COURSE OF A WEEK, I WAS IN CONTANT COMMUNICATION WITH THE SALES PERSON (KAYLA) AND CONFIRMED THE TRUCK CONFIGURATION SEVERAL TIMES (I HAVE AN EMAIL TRAIL). MY TRUCK SOLD TODAY. I TOLD HER I'M READY TO PUT MONEY DOWN - SHE COMES BACK WITH A DIFFERENT TRUCK (4 CYL VS 6 CYL AND ACCESS CAB VS DOUBLE CAB - BOTH OF WHICH HAD BEEN FULLY DISCUSSED MULTIPLE TIMES OVER THE WEEK - AND IN EMAIL). SO NOW TELLS ME THE PRICE IS $4000 MORE THAN WHAT I HAD BEEN PREVIOUSLY TOLD! RUN, RUN , RUN AWAY. YOU CAN'T TRUST THEM!
Used car purchase - Sweetpea
I purchased my Challenger at this dealership and the process was so easy, got approved online in advance to going into the dealer. They transferred the car I wanted from the White Marsh location to the Laurel location and it waiting for me when I got there. Our sales rep., Lex Riley was awesome, he was polite and helpful, excellent customer service.
Truth or Dare - MOZARK2
What an experience, a negative experience. I went in knowing my credit had allot to be desired. I wanted to trade in my 2016 4-runner for a new BLUE SPECIFICALLY BLUE 4-runner. I communicated with a sales rep named Randy Snyder. I conveyed the specific amount I wanted to spend and that I wanted a Blue 4-runner. I made them aware that my credit needed work, and they said not a problem we have seen people with worse credit get financed. I said when you know it’s a green light finance wise I’ll come to the showroom. I receive a call from Randy a day or so later and he said its a go come down. I was still hesitant and said “really” he said yes come down.
Now the fun begins.... I drive 45 min and come to find they haven’t secured financing and they only have a gray or white 4-runner. I say, “ get a blue one from a fellow dealership”, and their reply was it costs them $600 to do that and aren’t willing. So I’m sitting around the dealership for 3 hours and still no financing. I eventually went home with a promise they would secure financing. My breath is held and I can join the blue man group since I’m blue in the face with no financing. I’ve left VMs sent emails to no avail. Guess Im like a fish; My credit score was to small so they unhooked me and threw me back in the ocean to one day hook me again.
I know Jones has 10k reviews and a 4.8 score and unfortunately I did not see that “GOOD” side of Jones Toyota. I saw a manipulating, play on words seedy side of Jones Toyota. Thanks for taking the time to read this review and I hope your experience is better than mine.
Lousy - Disappointed with Bill
This is the second bad review I've left for this dealership. My wife needed a spare key for her 2005 Highlander. We were told the key was just under 40 bucks, a little expensive but ok. It is a dealership. The employee at the parts counter made the key and we paid for it. Guess we misunderstood all keys have to be programed to work not just the master. So we paid 40 bucks to get a key that only unlocks the door, The fee to program the key is another 140 bucks. Don't need it that much. 180 bucks for a spare key for a vehicle we purchased from them. You guys SUCK!!!! When ever I've delt with these clowns I always walk away pissed off. Never again.
