I found the employees at Sutherlin Subaru to be well informed, patient, and very kind. My major contact was with Richard Nguyen in sales. He answered all my questions, pointing out all the differences in the models as well as explaining every detail of the car I bought. This is my second Subaru.
I think it’s a great sales technique that Richard and the other employees at Southerlin used. Richard contacted me by text a few times without using a hard sales technique, which I greatly appreciated.
Richard introduced me to Chad Clark, the sales manager, when I became serious about price. I was never pushed. I explained my position and Chad and I agreed on a price with Richard explaining some details.
I don’t think anyone ever knows what one should pay for a car without some kind of expertise which I didn’t have. But I am pleased with the price I paid.
I certainly want Sutherlin Subaru to stay in business because that’s where I’ll be taking my car for service.
I need to also mention Ryan in finance. He explained everything in detail. I particularly like the way that it’s laid out on the desk in large type.
Of course, I financed the car because I could not pass up .9%.
All in all, in a potential stressful situation, I was shown infinite patience by the employees. I did not feel pushed and I certainly wasn’t bothered by Richard from the first time I met him until I signed the final paper..
