I came into the dealership to get a warranty repair completed and was impressed with the loaner car I had received and started toying with the idea of a new car. In the past, my experience had not been so great at Darcars but I remembered a few great individuals who saved the day, so I decided to check out what 2019's they had to offer.
In my perusing, Mr. Milton Stiff came to the rescue. He was helpful without being overbearing or pushy. Due to having a 2018 Accord, I was pretty much aware of what the car had to offer and just really wanted a new car without having to pay more to have it. Mr. Stiff showed me a few different cars, but I was still attached to the same model I already had. So with the help of the awesome finance manager, Kerry Dillard, my wish to have a newer car was accomplished.
This was my second opportunity working with Mr. Dillard and once again he made my experience with Darcars of Honda a joy. He added to the great care and concern I received from my salesperson, Milton Stiff. They were both very welcoming, professional, honest, straightforward, and friendly. I was able to get GAP insurance and additional coverage for my car without issue (a definite necessity when buying a car) and for a nominal cost when you look at how much an accident or damage to your car could cost you. The transaction was seamless and did not take much time to complete.
I would definitely recommend coming into Darcars of Bowie to see Milton Stiff and Kerry Dillard when buying your next vehicle for an amazing car buying experience.

20,000 mile service - 20K Service
Service was done well as far as I know. There was a nail in right front tire. Service rep said it couldn't be fixed because of its location near tire wall. He offered to sell me a new tire. Serviceman put that wheel on right rear. I took the car to Beltsville Shell and they fixed it, at another $30.

Out of every dealership that I reached out to, this was the only dealership that was honest, straightforward, and treated me fairly. After dealing with other dealerships that changed the price on me after driving an hour to purchase the car (I'm looking at you Woodbridge...), I was honestly about to look at a different car brand altogether. However, I reached out to Herson's and within 24 hours they had won over my business and had me in a new car. Car was lost on the lot after service - BW
I had my car serviced and I don't believe I was overcharged and the car was ready on time. So far, so good. The trouble started when I went to pick up my car. The car was not brought around for me - I was told it was parked in a certain location (L-something)and how to get there. This was not a busy time of day for them and there were at least 6 employees hanging around the service area. So I go out to the side of the building and no car. I walk around with the key fob trying to find it in 90 degree heat.
The place where it was parked was blocked off with cars down to 1 exit. And a Honda employee pulled up and blocked that one exit even though he saw me and 2 other cars heading to the 1 spot not blocked by other vehicles. Again, what is going on with this service dept?
My first car was a Honda and I had it for 24 years. I loved that car. So anytime I need to buy a new car, Honda is my first stop. I want to like Honda. I am predisposed to like Honda. So get it together guys - bring the darn car around after service! I got stuck with a Toyota Camry and guess what - Toyota always brings it around even though it is a 2012 and I didn't buy it from them.

I purchase my vehicle on August 17, 2019. Mr. Joe C. was my salesman, and he really made the experience pleasant because after I left, I didn't feel exhausted. He understood that my time was valuable and that I did not have the time nor energy to go"back and forth." I was there for about 75 minutes and returned the next day to complete the paperwork and finalize the deal.

Do not work with Benito very unprofessional. Working in sales is not for him. He told me to pick out three cars that I wanted..My credit was ran, he said I could get anything I wanted on the lot if i put down a large down payment of 5,000 after I sat in there for four hours for him to tell me that which I know it was BS. He said I had to come back the next day because the banks were closed.. I called him the next day he didn’t even know who I was and what car I was going to purchase smh...So today I went back in there to start the process all over again still bs.. He said he had some cars for me to look at and they wasn’t even there then pulled up one car that had a flat tire very stressful day!!!
Internet Pricing Bait & Switch - ahanes
As you have read from multiple folks - they commit to a price over email and then when you come in the price is different.
They do this by saying they have a $1000 accessory package added to the car that they cannot remove and they add this amount to the "agreed" price of the car.
Waste of everyones time - they want to exhaust you and have you give in.

My experience with Anderson Honda was nothing short of AMAZING!!! JAMES treated me like family by giving me his undivided attention and making me feel like I was the most important person in the room. My credit presented with challenges, but I was never judged or treated poorly. When things seemed like they would not work out they enlisted the help of GRACE, who was a heavy hitter. MY DEAL WAS SIGNED SEALED & DELIVERED with white glove service - my was waxed, full of gas, tagged & titled. If you EVER want to be treated like royalty, go to Anderson and ask for James to be your Sales Professional & for grace to seal the deal!!!!

Disclaimer - The only reason I am rating this two stars is because I also bought a new Honda there and the Sales Dept. did an excellent job. My review is related to the Service Dept since the Manager, Fred, made no attempts to make things right.
Waste of time and money for a state inspection! My sports car is not a Honda but I called and they said no problem so I made an appointment that I was quoted at 1.5 to 2hrs. Well I spent almost 3hrs there only to be told I need to take my car elsewhere then bring it back to re-inspect for more money since it failed. Next shop was only charging a little more to do another state inspection over what Norris Honda wanted to charge for the re-inspection so I decided to not take it back and wait a long time again. Well the new shop found other state inspection issues that the first Inspector at Norris Honda passed so I reached out to the Honda Service Manager to let him know my concerns and he was very defensive and said its all subjective, which I'm not buying. He acted like they were doing me a favor for passing my car for these other issues another shop failed. For example my tint is illegal and didn't pass the inspection at the other shop but on Hondas inspection report it says N/A as if the car doesn't even have it. I'm not looking for a hand out or to be driving around illegal and have issues down the road so I would rather address it now. This other shop doesn't make any additional money for failing my car for tint either. I will have to remove it myself or take it to a place that will. They aren't charging a reinspection fee either. Oh and btw your Inspector also seems to think my car doesn't have power steering so he put N/A there too! All in all it was just a bad experience at the service center there and the Service Manager wasn't any help.

I was a bit skeptical at first, from the office's environment. But, the sales representative was pretty smart and friendly, and he helped me get the best deal for the vehicle I wanted. He even went out of his way to help keep things fair when it came to the gas tank being replenished. (I didn't want regular gas in my Civic Type R, and he worked with me on that. Special thanks to Kane and Bill for great service.
Bait and switch - Disappointed 1217
Called this dealership and spoke to a sales manager and spoke to him about a 2019 Pilot, we found a price on the base price from Edumds and sent that to him. He agreed to that price and came in to finalize the transaction. Upon arrive we were 80-90 percent into the transaction, including our trade-in which he low balled. After some discussion he kept us waiting for about 20 minutes and the came back and said he was sorry, he could not honor that price. He shuffled papers back and force and said he was sorry he could not honor that price. He did not know how they came up with price, this is coming from the “sales manager he should know his product and the price”. Here is the bait and switch for which they are known for, now he wanted not to honor that price and to say we had to pay much more for the vehicle. At this time we called him out and left. During this time he tried to get us to stay by by trying to up our trade in price, which he already low balled. Bottom line, stay, they will try to rip you off. You have been warned.

I had been looking for a reasonably price car for the last three months mostly through the internet. I went into David Wheeler to make an appointment for my wife's Honda Odyessy. While there I bumped into Greg Phillips a salesman I had known for a while. He asked if I was still looking for a vehicle? I was. I told him what I had been looking for was a hardtop/covertible. He advised they had just gotten one in and I should take a look. The vehicle was what I wanted. We test drove the vehicle and went back to the dealership. I advised at the time my wife had to see the vehicle before I would make a committment and we set up a time to come back. In the meantime he had taken my information for the paperwork. I located my wife sooner than the appt. and called Greg to advise we would be right back. He put a tag on the car again so my wife could take a ride. We came back did the paperwork, worked out a couple minor problems and agreed to pick up the vehicle in two hours. When we return Greg had had the car detailed, gassed and ready to go. John Ireland had all the paperwork ready and we were done in about thirty minutes. Both these gentlemen were as helpful and courteous as any could be. I would highly reccomend them to anyone in the area who was about to purchase a vehicle. The next day I had my wife's car serviced and the service in that dept. was also excellent.
