First experience buying a CR-V from Honda of Annapolis - valonis
My salesman Mark Rivers sat down with my wife and I to find out just what we were interested in. After that he took us for a test drive in a AW CR-V Honda, during which he explained the basic features of the car. Upon return to his office, we negotiated an acceptable offer and purchased the car. During the process, he did not try to influence us with additional options. He was truly a non-pressure salesman, and explained all of the features of the car. Also, Mark put permanent tags on the new car, called my insurance company which faxed a ryder to my policy showing the new car. And contacted the MD MVA and obtained a registration document. And then we completed the finance transaction. Then we drove off with our new car--all of this took about 4 hours. That was a week ago and we are enjoying our new car and also enjoyed the experience-thanks to Mark.

On January 16, 2019 I called Honda of Owings Mills to inquire about a used vehicle that I was interested in and was prepared to purchase. Salesman Sean Brunson answered the phone. We had a brief discussion about the vehicle over the phone and I told him that I wanted to talk about the price over the phone, before I arrived at the Dealership. I do not like going back and forth in person with Car Salesmen about the final price of a vehicle. Mr. Brunson assured me that if I just come on in and test drive the vehicle, that he would make sure that the deal is completed and that I am a Very Happy customer. There was something in his voice that I could tell that he was very sincere with that comment. I arrived at the Dealership shortly thereafter. When I arrived at the Dealership, I was surprised learn that Mr. Brunson was only 21 years old. I have been purchasing vehicles for 40 years. My experience with Sean Brunson was the most pleasant vehicle purchasing experience that I have ever had. I explained to Mr. Brunson that I had already had Financing pre-arranged for the vehicle, and that I didn't want any extras added to the vehicle. I made him a very reasonalble offer and he accepted it. Throughout the process, I felt that Sean Brunson was being very respectful of me as a customer without playing any games. Sean Brunson promised me that he would "make sure that the deal was completed and make me a Very Happy customer. He delivered on both. Anyone looking for a used Honda, or any other used vehicle, Sean Brunson is the man to see. He is a man of his word.

I checked online to see what time the Pohanka Honda Service Center closes and their website advertises service Monday-Friday from 8AM – 8PM. I arrived at the Ricthie Marlboro Rd location at about 6:50 PM and pulled into the Service Lane and waited in my car as instucted by the overhead sign. After sitting patiently in my car for roughly 10 minutes and Sales personnel came out to deal with other vehicle but never stopping to inquire about my desired service, I went into the Service dept to talk to a service rep at the counter. After a couple of minutes after trying to ignore me, one of the Reps with great indignation asked how could they help me. I indictated I wanted to get the oil changed in my Honda Pilot and he promptly asked was I planning to leave it overnight because they quit taking cars after 6:00 PM. I explained to him that I had driven 30 minutes out of my way because the website indicates that no appointment was needed at the Service Dept and is open until 8:00 PM. He indicated that on a busy day they always quit taken cars at 6:00 PM and there was nothing he could do for me. I am sharing this as I believe this is false advertisment, decpetive business practice, and horrible customer service. It is a factual statement that if a business quit taking customers at 6:00 PM they cannot legitimately claimed to be open for service until 8:00 PM. I am sharing this so that this Website can update the information provided to the Public to accurately reflect the Company’s hours of providing service so they can avoid wasting their precious time and resources unecessarily.

I originally went in to buy used. I test drove an Acura and highlander with James. I took too long to decide and the highlander sold. I liked James so much and really wanted to buy from him because I trusted him, so I went back to check out the used Pilots. In the end I bought a 2019 New Pilot and couldn’t be happier. James was a joy to work with. He wasn’t pushy and he was very honest. I financed it through them and Jared made the process so easy. I highly recommend this dealership, James Weldon and Jared. They make purchasing a car fun and easy!

Disclaimer - The only reason I am rating this two stars is because I also bought a new Honda there and the Sales Dept. did an excellent job. My review is related to the Service Dept since the Manager, Fred, made no attempts to make things right.
Waste of time and money for a state inspection! My sports car is not a Honda but I called and they said no problem so I made an appointment that I was quoted at 1.5 to 2hrs. Well I spent almost 3hrs there only to be told I need to take my car elsewhere then bring it back to re-inspect for more money since it failed. Next shop was only charging a little more to do another state inspection over what Norris Honda wanted to charge for the re-inspection so I decided to not take it back and wait a long time again. Well the new shop found other state inspection issues that the first Inspector at Norris Honda passed so I reached out to the Honda Service Manager to let him know my concerns and he was very defensive and said its all subjective, which I'm not buying. He acted like they were doing me a favor for passing my car for these other issues another shop failed. For example my tint is illegal and didn't pass the inspection at the other shop but on Hondas inspection report it says N/A as if the car doesn't even have it. I'm not looking for a hand out or to be driving around illegal and have issues down the road so I would rather address it now. This other shop doesn't make any additional money for failing my car for tint either. I will have to remove it myself or take it to a place that will. They aren't charging a reinspection fee either. Oh and btw your Inspector also seems to think my car doesn't have power steering so he put N/A there too! All in all it was just a bad experience at the service center there and the Service Manager wasn't any help.

I had been looking for a reasonably price car for the last three months mostly through the internet. I went into David Wheeler to make an appointment for my wife's Honda Odyessy. While there I bumped into Greg Phillips a salesman I had known for a while. He asked if I was still looking for a vehicle? I was. I told him what I had been looking for was a hardtop/covertible. He advised they had just gotten one in and I should take a look. The vehicle was what I wanted. We test drove the vehicle and went back to the dealership. I advised at the time my wife had to see the vehicle before I would make a committment and we set up a time to come back. In the meantime he had taken my information for the paperwork. I located my wife sooner than the appt. and called Greg to advise we would be right back. He put a tag on the car again so my wife could take a ride. We came back did the paperwork, worked out a couple minor problems and agreed to pick up the vehicle in two hours. When we return Greg had had the car detailed, gassed and ready to go. John Ireland had all the paperwork ready and we were done in about thirty minutes. Both these gentlemen were as helpful and courteous as any could be. I would highly reccomend them to anyone in the area who was about to purchase a vehicle. The next day I had my wife's car serviced and the service in that dept. was also excellent.
