No regard for people during COVID-19
We had a quote from a local dealership for a 2020 Civic Lx, however, that dealership did not have the color we wanted. We contacted local dealerships in the area that had the cosmic blue Civic Lx in stock. Noella from Hersons Honda called us back and we provided her with the quote and confirmed availability. Since we were trying to match or have Hersons beat the price, she had to check with her manager Pat. She spoke with Pat and told us to come in and they will at least be able to match the price. We show up at the scheduled appointment time at 6pm and the front desk informs us that Pat had left early. A sales associate approached us and told us that he’d be able to help. He took the quote and showed it to another manager, CJ. The associate came back and told us that he’s having the car brought out for us to test drive. When we came back from the test drive the associate informed us that CJ wanted to see the quote again. CJ comes to the desk and tells us that he will not be matching or beating the price because he’s not desperate (At the time of writing this Hersons has 33 Civic Lx in the lot).They could’ve told us over the phone to save us time and prevented my 64 yo dad having to risk coming to the dealership. This dealership has no regard for what is happening and continues to operate as normal. As we were walking out there was a service tech at the exit with his mask under his chin. If you get an offer from this dealership just know that there is a good chance it will not be honored once you show up. Additionally, they are lax at enforcing safety precautions to protect their customers.

I found the pricing fair and honest, not a lot of haggling, and really appreciated the ease in reaching the final price. Sean actually delivered the car and took away my old leased car. He explained all my questions about the car and was completely organized and professional. I would definitely buy from Hertrich Honda again.

Long story short, we purchased the vehicle, paid to have it shipped to us. It arrived without any driving permit or any documentation in the vehicle. I repeatedly requested that the woman immediatly email us a printable form so we can drive the vehicle until our appointment at the DMV . She will not send it.
so we took all of our money and paid the Dodge Durango off in FULL, a sing le payment of $11,985.00. She still is refusing to send the documents.. Avoid at all costs

Jessica Hudson was fantastic! She managed to calm me down after I was pretty freaked out when my console went blank (it's not a good thing when you have to rely on Waze from your phone to tell you your speed). I called locations in the area and back home in New York City. All the answers were pretty dismal (ie. "2 week wait time for an appointment", "would require at least a whole day to fix the issue", etc). I called up Pohanka Honda Of Salisbury and they took me with no appointment necessary and fixed my car in far less time than others had promised. I really appreciate and enjoyed my whole experience with this dealership. I only wish the dealers in New York City were like this one.

Waste of time, not upfront and unethical pricing. Did research on Black Book and got offers in writing for a 2016 Civic to sell - no longer needed it. Gave this dealership a chance at my business since it was close to home versus driving out 10 more minutes. Lowballed me on offer by $5,000 from what another place would buy my car for. Made up excuses as to why they could not offer higher and that no dealership in the area would offer more. Showed them my offer and they started fumbling back on their words. Decided to leave and drive 10 mins out to sell car to further dealer.

I took my 2014 Honda Accord to Norris Honda today for an oil change. I’ve done that several times with only minor issues re the service, but today was a major disappointment. My car was taken in at 1:03 pm and I didn’t get it back until 3:45 pm. I may not have gotten it back then, but I went out to the service bay to find out why it was taking so long. Two men looked at each other and then for my paperwork. Neither said anything for a few minutes and then one man said I have your paperwork just follow me.. we moved back inside to the pay station while he muttered something about having others he was working on and must have just lost track of me and my car. I learned from the check out girl that the car service was completed at 1:54 pm but no one bothered to tell me until I went to inquire what was taking so long. If you need speedy service or even normal service forget this place because the people charged with taking car of you, and maybe even your car, AREN’T AWARE what’s going on‼️ Too bad if you have other things planned that day‼️ Your loss‼️ Thanks Norris Honda Service Department.

Please don't do what we did and ignore the reviews of this place!! My husband and I purchased a 2020 Honda CR-V from them last night and this was easily our worst car buying experience EVER. Prior to arriving, we had a great experience with our saleswoman who had two models of the vehicle we were interested in pulled up to the front awaiting our arrival at our request. We quickly decided on which one we wanted and began the paperwork. This is where is started to go downhill. We repeatedly mentioned in text, email and person that we were not interested in financing as we already had it line up through our credit union. When we began, questions about what our rates, payments, etc would be, started. I again reminded our saleswoman we had financing line up and weren't interested in this and she stated these questions were just part of the paperwork and were required of her to ask. While chatting politely with us, she brought some paperwork for us to begin signing and told us both it was the standard papers to get the ball rolling. Our mistake was not paying more attention and instead trusting her. After waiting well over an hour, we were finally taken back to finance and after signing papers there and waiting for the finance representative to call to our credit union and verify the check, I decided to go through my email. Imagine my surprise to see an alert from Credit Karma telling me I had a new hard inquiry on my report. I opened my account and lo and behold, Pohanka Honda had run credit checks on both myself and my husband despite us stating no credit was needed. The on duty manager had come into the room at this point to assist the finance person with something so I asked why a credit check was performed without our consent and after a moment of appearing flustered, he began to rifle through our papers and pulls out the forms our sales person told us were just "standard papers". in tiny writing on the bottom in a very large paragraph, it states by signing, we are applying for credit and authorizing them to run credit checks. This didn't sit well with either of us. The manager began to stumble through an explanation stating it was the general managers policy to run credit checks on everyone who buys a car just incase their bank check doesn't clear. When further questioned, he then stated it was because of 9-11 and the federal law requires them to do it to prove we are who we say we are and that we aren't terrorists. What he was referring to is the Patriot Act. Anyone with a slight knowledge of the Patriot Act knows this doesn't require or allow car dealerships to run a credit check on customers. We argued rather heatedly with him over the topic and at one point he told the finance lady since we were "bending him over a barrel" to just cancel our sale. At this point, all papers had been signed, the check had been authorized and filled out with all of their information. I was more than thrilled to do this and to this very minute wish we would have, but my husband just wanted the whole thing to be over. We walked out of there with not only a godawful experience, but also with a car that in the grand scheme of things, wish we wouldn't have bought from them and we are now looking into our options with hiring an attorney for their unlawful practice of running credit checks on unsuspecting customers. Please, please, please, read all the reviews of this place and think twice before dealing with them.
