I felt comfortable and am appreciative for the soft but informative approach. Of course the salesman, Jamar, did what was necessary to obtain the sale but was not intimidating. In the beginning, I was a bit skeptical because of the ratings and reviews I had viewed. However, after completing the application process, I was approved within minutes. There was a bit of confusion regarding who had rights to the vehicle since I lived a distance away and completed everything online, but couldn't pick up for a couple of days and there were other customers interested in the same car and able to come in to the dealership before me. Shawn, took the lead, and confirmed that I was first to have an approved application and would be the new owner. He was very professional, certain, and honest about the mistake, which made me feel a lot more comfortable. In the end, I got the car I've been searching for and a great deal!

The sales rep, David Bibo was very knowledgeable and friendly. We already had been approved for a line of credit through USAA Financial Services and provided David with my dealer funding certificate. We were walked into the manager's office to finalize the sales price that was guaranteed through TrueCar and after some confusing back and forth in regards to the discount application, we started signing paper work. The sales manager asked David to bring in a credit application, and when the sales Manager asked me to fill it out, I told him that we chose USAA as our bank to finance the loan and we were not interested in getting our credit ran again, he then said that he HAD to run a credit application because the USAA funding dealer request meant nothing to him (at this point he held the paper in the air and let it fall to the desk) and that he wasn't about to let a $15,000 car leave his lot without checking our credit.
I told him that the financing was already secured and that I would not allow for a credit check to be done again. He was very visibly upset because we would not allow them to run a credit check then started to clear off his desk and said that he would not sell us the car at all.
So after spending an hour there and half way through signing document, we were rudely asked to leave or kicked out because we would not allow Honda to run our credit and try to give us a better APR and steal the auto loan from USAA bank. The manager was rude, condescending and unprofessional. I left very upset and couldn't believe how we were treated, it was a horrible experience that I hope no one ever experiences. No one deserves to be treated like we were treated at this dealership last night.
We contacted USAA right away to let them know what had happened, they contacted the Honda dealership the next morning and another manager, Matt Stouten told the representative that it was company policy that it doesn't matter if you already have alternate funding, that it was policy that a full credit check is ran by the dealership or Honda Financial Services. DO NOT GO THERE!

I just recently bought a new Honda Civic from Glen Burnie’s dealership. PJ was great and really worked to find what I wanted! He knew the exact car I wanted was popular but he made it happen. He’s good at his job but doesn’t make you feel bad if you don’t want to buy the car right then. I visited PJ three times before buying my car because I wanted to sell my Jeep first. He knew that and didn’t pressure me. From the time I walked in to the time I drove off the lot it felt like he was there to keep me as a priority which is nice when many times dealers are pushy. Purchase of Odyssey and CR-V - R. Bunn
Hillary Patch was a joy to work with on the lease of my wife’s 2019 Odyssey and the purchase of my son’s 2018 CR-V. I grew up in car dealerships in N.C. and unlike most dealerships in Northern Virginia where it is all about the purchase. We came back after buying a 2015 Odyssey based on selling price and service of this vehicle.
Until I move back to N.C. Pohanka is my dealership of choice and Hillary is my salesperson.
Service Manager Fred Hassell is absolutely terrible - 55BL
The Norris Honda Service Department is ABSOLUTELY PREDATORY. I purchased my 2016 Honda CRV from them back in October 2016. On June 25, 2018, I went in to have my headliner and sunroof evaluated since it had been leaking due to the heavy rainfall in the Baltimore area during the months of May and June. Before I could barely get a word out, the Service Manager Fred Hassell says ‘That’s a nice car. Did someone buy that for you? Did your husband buy that for you?’
At this point, I was insulted, ignored it, and proceeded to tell Fred the issue with my car headliner and the seams from the rain. Instead of offering me a solution or how to move forward, he immediately blamed me for the issue and said that it was most likely ‘my fault’ for not fully closing the moon roof or my windows.
Due to the heavy rain, I just wanted my car fixed and left it there. When I came to pick it up, Fred claimed there was ‘nothing wrong with my car’ and said I owed them $140 for the ‘diagnostic testing.’ However, when I got into my car there were NEW LARGER STAINS. When I pointed this out, Fred said I did not have any prior proof of pictures and refused to drop the charge.
After a significant amount of back-and-forth with Fred, I decided to formally dispute the charge on my credit card and took my car to Anderson Honda of Hunt Valley. In addition, I lodged a formal complaint with American Honda Corp (I have a suspicious feeling Fred Hassell is slick and said the right things to get corporate off of his back)
Ultimately, my credit card company sided with me and Anderson Honda took care of my problem without any issues. My car repair was covered under the 3 year 36K mile Honda warranty since there were distinct locations where my car was leaking due to a shifted drainage pan and a dislodged drainage tube. Anderson Honda was an absolute straightforward pleasure to deal with. I will never go back to Norris Honda for servicing of any type ever again. They were an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. NEVER AGAIN.

I had been looking for a reasonably price car for the last three months mostly through the internet. I went into David Wheeler to make an appointment for my wife's Honda Odyessy. While there I bumped into Greg Phillips a salesman I had known for a while. He asked if I was still looking for a vehicle? I was. I told him what I had been looking for was a hardtop/covertible. He advised they had just gotten one in and I should take a look. The vehicle was what I wanted. We test drove the vehicle and went back to the dealership. I advised at the time my wife had to see the vehicle before I would make a committment and we set up a time to come back. In the meantime he had taken my information for the paperwork. I located my wife sooner than the appt. and called Greg to advise we would be right back. He put a tag on the car again so my wife could take a ride. We came back did the paperwork, worked out a couple minor problems and agreed to pick up the vehicle in two hours. When we return Greg had had the car detailed, gassed and ready to go. John Ireland had all the paperwork ready and we were done in about thirty minutes. Both these gentlemen were as helpful and courteous as any could be. I would highly reccomend them to anyone in the area who was about to purchase a vehicle. The next day I had my wife's car serviced and the service in that dept. was also excellent.
