Boy the xxxx of dealers these days does not cease to... - jwsnowboards
Boy the xxxx of dealers these days does not cease to persist. This dealership represented this particular jeep for thousands less then what they were going to hustle you in person to actually sell it for.
Unfortunately they met their end with me as I do not sit here and allow the "bait and switch" tactic to to prevail. It is illegal, it is fraudulent, and people will now know this is their practice.
See below. The Jeep has been listed for over 30 days for $41,453. Upon expressing interest and obtaining photos, I told them I was good with the price and moving forward. The dealer kind of came back acting a bit funny and said, sir, I'm so sorry the price we listed is wrong. The real price is in fact significantly higher then what was listed. The real price for the listing is $44,730. Oops our mistake (which has been online for over 30 days).
Just so everyone understands the dealership's bait and switch tactics are designed to get you into the dealership, then get you to fall in love with the particular vehicle, then basically tell you that none of the rebates which are even represented on any of their listings or website, apply to you. The price difference since I inquired to buy the car and 3 hours later has jumped by $3,277. They knew this heat was coming...
This is FRAUD. This is ILLEGAL. This is will be reported to every single media outfit available. This will also be reported to CAR and BBB.
Avoid at all costs.

My first purchase from John Vance has been phenomenal... - Jcortassa
My first purchase from John Vance has been phenomenal thus far.
Dustin Chamberlain was able to orchestrate agreeable terms w/ a very difficult customer successfully, thats a Pole in my book. During the vehicle handoff, Dustin made a very bold statement that will always stay w/ me, "At John Vance, our philosophy is that customer service starts AFTER THE SALE".
Thats all I needed to hear to bring that final comfort in the massive investment in these new-generation vehicles that are riddled w/ issues that necessitate constant support to remain enjoyable.
THANK YOU TO THE SALES and FINANCE team at John Vance!

I drove from Nashville to pick up a used truck. I worked with Jennifer Medina and John Carpenter. Both were GREAT to work with and made the experience worthwhile. They answered all my questions in advance of me deciding to make the trip, and upon arrival, I found that all of the answers they provided were wholly accurate and spot on.
I do not live close enough to have any service done there, but the folks in service that I met were prompt and professional. A key fob had to programmed, and they made this process a top priority so I could get back on the road.
John "Carp" Carpenter helped me resolve all finance and warranty questions prior to arrival, and Jennifer was completely honest and very responsive.
I will check out their inventory if I need another vehicle.
I had 2 cars vandalized the dodge Nitro went to riverside... - Not cool
I had 2 cars vandalized the dodge Nitro went to riverside auto plex Muskogee. Morgan was quick and kept us updated. Not the service dept fault this was an insurance claim. They got to it found what was put in the tank then took it out for a test drive and it overheated and had to be towed back to the shop. Prior to the vandalism I can not say it ran perfect because it was used with 160000 miles but it had never overheated. But when a person is upset someone so ridiculously ruins your cars and you are without a car for 3weeks I took everything personal. When Morgan called and said I owed a tow bill and new radiator and my insurance deductible of 1000.00 I was furious and did not think things out . I called the dealership and asked to speak with general manager to complain Morgan and his crew had taken my car out over heated it not paying attention to gauges and etc. I recd a call back but Chris Hamm did not call it was a guy on the commercial side . When I was explaining my situation to him he blew right past why I was upset and ASKED DID MORGAN YELL AT YOU OR USE FOWL LANGUAGE there was no talk of any resolution so I seen we were going no where. But even though I had called and complained on Morgan he called and as usual was POLITE that was not my complaint about Morgan. It’s my car that is setting in the shop because #1 I have 2 cars with 1000.00 deductible each 2.hole in radiator they were not able to locate and still do not know if fertilizer in the gas did any permanent damage to the engine or anything else the insurance would not ALLOW Morgan to replace. So if you need your car MORGAN will be polite and he does give updates, and he will try to resolve your problems but as for if you call in to speak to GM fair warning you’ll be passed off as if hyoid do not have any value and does not want to be bothered.
Used Vehicles...I saw a 2019 Ford F350. TrueCar had... - Adam
I saw a 2019 Ford F350. TrueCar had listed the vehicle at $63,2XX. Once I logged into my TrueCar account I received an "Offer" for $62,9XX. $300, whooptie doo. But at least I had a starting point. When I showed up the next day, 5 Dec 2020, Richard greeted me. He seemed nice enough. I asked about the truck and he acted like he wasn't sure which truck I was talking about, but then immediately told me that someone had just test drove it earlier that day. I thought to myself, "Ok, the bs has started already. That was quick!". I also asked when it was traded in and was told "4 or 5 days ago". According to vehiclehistory.com, it's been sitting on the lot for almost a month. So, I've gotten two BS answers already and haven't been there 5 minutes. Long story short, we took a look at the truck, and took it for a quick test drive. It seemed nice and tight. Now let's go see how hard they are going to try to screw me lol. This is where the fun really began. The salesman did the whole "I'll be right back" routine and I sat there and waited. And waited. At least 15 minutes had passed before I got up to walk outside and take another look at the truck while they were "busy" working the numbers. Richard came back with $65,488. I quickly reminded him of the TrueCar price (which I had told him about on the lot), showed him the site on my phone, which he took a picture of to show his manager. I then told him that even that was too high, and I would be a player for $58,000 out the door. 10 minutes later he comes back and says something to the effect of "Oh, that was what TrueCar said it should go for". "That's not what the price actually is". Now, if you know how TC works, the dealer pays them to advertise and essentially give them leads, generating business. They aren't LEGALLY obligated to honor the price that THE DEALERSHIP advertises, but they should. Either way, I told Richard that I would log out of my TC account and show him the price advertised to the general public (the original $63,2XX price). Well, what do you know? The price had disappeared. The ad showed "No price listed" and when I clicked on it, it said that the dealer has not assigned an asking price or something to that effect. So, basically the manager had just deleted the TrueCar price from the system. I thanked Richard for his time and got up. I told him that what they had just done is skeevy as xxxx and have a good night. He asked incredulously if I was going to allow that to end the deal to which I replied that he had my contact information, if he could meet my price give me a call. Lo and behold, the price on TrueCar is now $65,488. Truthfully, even if they called me tomorrow and offered me the truck at my price I doubt I would do business with this dealership. Which is a xxxx shame. Because they had a truck that was 99.99% of what I wanted if I built it myself, and we weren't really that far apart on price. They start high, I start low and we meet somewhere in the middle. They could have definitely sold a truck tonight, but I refuse to do business a completely dishonest dealership. Lots of dealerships and F350's in this country.

I wish I could rate them lower. The worst service department I’ve ever seen. Ruined my motor and refused to pay for repair cost. Cost me $8000 out of my pocket. Do not trust them!!
New car trash in tint wouldn't fix - Unhappy customer
Does not honor advertised prices of vehicles on their web page. When you get there they act like it's an honest mistake every time.
Disrespectful - babyj32113
As a consumer i would not take my dog here. They hung up on me when trying to ask questions about my car they had for 5 months and brought it to me and it was not safe to even drive. They treated me like a dog and talked to me in ways that i would never think a company would be ok with but when calling Chad Cummins the owner he told me to contact an attorney. I have each voice recording to verify this as well if anyone would like to hear it for themselves.
