i was on the road returning to my home in berkeley, california when my battery died. the local austin subaru dealer determined that my alternator had died. i asked if this could be fixed quickly because i was stuck in austin in a motel until it was repaired. motel fee was $125.00 per night so i wanted to be done soon. the subaru agent, shelby childers put a lot of effort into having a new alternator for my 2008 outback shipped as quickly as possible and installed right away, and i had the feeling she puts extra effort into caring for everyone with whom she deals. i was very very happy with the service i received at austin subaru, give shelby childers a raise. an employee like that is preciousl

Mike was very helpful, pleasant, attentive and clear in discussing the repair items that I wanted done and the items for repair discovered in the Subaru 21 item check list. When I had questions, they were quickly resolved by talking with applicable service mechanic and viewing the applicable video of the item on the car. I appreciated not being pressured to agree to repairs that I did not want at this time. The repair items necessarily took 6 1/2 hours to complete and I appreciated the valet to the local Cracker Barrel restaurant.

My family was actively communicating with North Park Subaru in San Antonio about purchasing a truck and discussing pricing. My husband noted that the vehicle seemed priced higher than comparable listings, and during that conversation it became apparent and was acknowledged that the pricing may have been influenced by them taking less on another recent sale. That raised concerns about the pricing from a buyer's perspective. What was most disappointing is that while we were still in active discussion about the truck, it was sold without any notice or courtesy follow-up to let us know another buyer was about to purchase it or to give us a final opportunity to move forward. We understand vehicles sell quickly and that no purchase is final without a deposit, but basic professionalism would be to notify a customer you are already negotiating with before finalizing a sale to someone else. Overall, this experience felt dismissive of our time and interest as serious buyers. Better transparency and communication would have made a significant difference.

After a few hours and not receiving anything I reached back out. At that time I was told they had sold it to someone else. I called the slimy Internet Sales Manager and he claimed we never had a deal. Lies, lies lies. Someone came in and they probably made an extra dollar. We just purchased a new Subaru from Scoggin-Dickey in Lubbock. Our salesman Buzzy usually sells on the Chevy/Buick side. But we SPECIFICALLY asked for Buzzy, especially since this is the 3rd vehicle we’ve purchased from Buzzy. And, they’re delivering it to the house on a truck. We totaled the Buick we purchased from Buzzy thanksgiving night hitting a deer at 70, and had to return the rental car on Friday. Thanks again Buzzy and Scoggin-Dickey !!

Highly recommend!!! By far the BEST dealership I’ve ever been to. From the start we were was greeted by very friendly staff. Ram Vega was assigned to us. He was very attentive to my wants in my next vehicle. He showed my husband and I the ones we were interested in. I was between two vehicles. He asked me questions to help decide on which one I loved the most. Ram also gave us the time we needed to make the best decision, he was not pushy at all. Once the vehicle was decided, we went in to start talking numbers. Ram matched us up with Matt Xie the Finance Director. Matt was very friendly and very knowledgeable. He was able to make the numbers work for us. During this whole process the GM Eliel Ramirez came and greeted us to make sure we were taken care of. I will ONLY shop here to buy my vehicles.

On 2-1-24, I met with Sierra Watson, who helped me to understand how StarLink and Apple CarPlay contribute to ownership of the Subaru. Now I realize the benefits of setting up a Driver Profile and accessing the My Subaru app. For over two hours, Ms. Watson patiently explained features, eliminated confusion, and increased my overall enjoyment of owning this 2024 vehicle.
