I had spent 2 1/2 weeks at 4 to 6 hours per day searching for a replacement Ford Explorer that had been totaled by a teenage drive with a learner's permit. While there are a yon of XLT models within the price range, I had a set of conditions needed to serve as a suitable replacement. I did a couple of potential vehicles but 1 didn't quite hit all the required checkmark boxes and the other was at a lot whose manager fit the "yutz from xxxx" description.
