Hi from California! We made the trip all the way to Detroit to take ownership of our beautiful XC90, the deal was simply too good to pass up on! Once we got serious about moving forward, we connected with our sales representative, Mathew. From start to finish, he truly went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and that everything went smoothly. Shortly after, we were introduced to Carl, the sales manager, who helped secure the deal. He made sure we fully understood every detail and walked us through the numbers thoroughly, so thoroughly that I had to stop him a couple of times, haha. But hey, that’s his job! There was a bit of miscommunication toward the end regarding the final pricing, but it didn’t deter us at all. Whether it was a simple mistake or an upsell attempt, we understood it’s business, and that’s how dealerships operate. For anyone looking to get a great deal, just make sure you do your research and know exactly what you want and what you’re willing to spend. That said, Carl addressed our concerns quickly and resolved everything right away, which only reinforced that we were working with the right team. Next, we worked with Raven, who handled all of our paperwork. While there was a little initial pushback, we were very appreciative that everything was completed digitally. Since we needed to drive the car back to California within two days for work, this was incredibly important to us. Raven really came through, she even came in on her day off to make sure everything was finalized just as promised. She absolutely crushed it. After everything was completed, we flew out to Detroit and finally met the entire team in person. Honestly, they were some of the most genuine people we’ve ever met. We never felt the kind of pressure you typically get at dealerships, at least compared to our experiences in California. There ended up being a delay due to an issue with the car, but we honestly weren’t bothered by it. The reason was simple both Carl and Mathew were completely transparent and even owned up to their own mistakes without us even asking why. That level of honesty made them feel human and relatable, which mattered more to us than the delay itself. Things happen, and we appreciated how upfront they were about everything. Overall, this was a great experience. The team at Suburban Volvo truly delivered, not just on the car, but on the entire experience of coming out to Detroit! I was hesitant on leasing and I always purchasew my cars. scott was very patient with me while I test drove multiple vehicles and he went over my payment options which I liked. where my faith was restored in dealerships was when I sat down with the finance director julia, she took her time answering all of my many questions with a smile and really made me feel comfprtable with my new lease. i knew what to expect at the end and she went over options that i didnt even know were available for a lease. she explained everything with great detail, even I understood what was going on. i really recommend vic canver in fenton. ask for julia and scott!

This is my fifth vehicle purchase from Hines Park Ford and they have always been great to work with. Hines Park even managed to win over my wife on her purchase and that was not an easy task given her previous poor experiences at other dealers. I don't know if I'm supposed to name drop in this review but Constantin, my salesperson is truly a credit to the car sales / automotive industry. His knowledge of the vehicles he's selling goes well beyond the normal basic information you get as an industry norm from car sales people. I realize I may be different than the average car buyer in the amount of research I do on vehicles prior to ever setting foot in the dealership to look at one in person which makes it all the more refreshing to speak with someone who has done his research and can contribute more to my decision making process than the basic taking a copy of my license, handing me the keys for a test drive and asking me "how did it drive" when I get back. Hines Park Ford has earned my business because their sales approach goes beyond the aesthetics of the car or truck, I don't need a car salesman to tell me how good the GTD or the Darkhorse Mustang are, I think the cars tell the story for themselves. What I do need to know is that my F350 can pull my 17,000lbs trailer, the type of range I can expect to get, and what my options are to fit my specific needs in a vehicle, whether those needs require factory options or aftermarket options and assist me in completing the upfit of my truck.
