I went to several dealers looking for a car before I ended up at Berwyn Kia. I walked in and thought "here we go again" because of the bad experiences I had at other dealers - appointments not kept, cars "not there" or "not ready to be sold" and they try a bait and switch, thousands of dollars of additional add ons to the advertised price, etc. That all changed when they introduced me to Mr. Brown. He was a straight shooter - he saw that I was serious and he treated me like an adult. I was in there at 5pm, he showed me the car I wanted to see, got me a fair value for my trade in, and I was out of there by 8pm with my certified pre-owned KIA. Plus, Jim is a really cool guy. He bent over backwards to make sure the sale worked and the car was acceptable. Thanks Jim - I'll be recommending you in the future!

Was looking for a specific used vehicle & their lot happened to get one in. Purchased from McGrath Kia of xx. Charles in April of 2026. All the workers on the floor were very pleasant. The sales rep that helped me specifically, was Vearle. He was fantastic. Answered all my questions, well informed, lots of experience, honest, fun & easy going. Although, it felt difficult to get the attention of upper management. Carlos Fuentes was quick, brief, with short answers & not a whole lot to include. He could have been busy, it's just the impression I got. Vearle made sure to be as helpful as he could with me regarding additional requests. There was a little issue with some paperwork after the fact, which almost required me to make the 2+ hour drive back to the store. Instead, they sent someone to me to sign some additional papers. That was helpful, but I feel avoidable. Otherwise, document signing & all employees I encountered while doing so were very pleasant, friendly, well informed & I would recommend. The vehicle was in great condition when I picked it up. The service department did a solid job cleaning it up. It is a used vehicle & has some minor flaws, but it is what I was looking for & has operated perfectly. All inspections after purchase have been clean. Vehicle has no current major issues that need addressed and it appears ready to run for awhile. Solid, dependable and trusted vehicle that I assume McGrath Kia inspected to make sure it was good to go. The pricing was competitive to the market, but if you have other options, might be worth it to talk down some dollars. They are by no means way over priced though. Beautiful store.. bright, clean, spacious, comfortable, vibrant & felt welcoming. Lots of options & available help at the store. Photos & information about vehicle were clear, upfront, correct & nothing surprising or disappointing. All available information online was helpful & transparent. Great communication via email/online & in store. Online information was up to date, current & correct. I wanted to wait a few months to see if anything wild happened since my purchase, but it's been a solid vehicle. All paperwork was handled in a timely fashion & I've had zero issues. I know McGrath Kia is in the business of selling KIA, but the used 2017 Mazda CX-5 I purchased from them was a win for both sides. I appreciate not given a big hat to wear during my purchase, but I did ring the bell... but I broke it. LoL! I drove hours because I was fairly confident after communications & descriptions online that I was a likely purchaser for this vehicle, and just my luck, I was. I had been looking at buying for 5 months but rarely found what I really wanted. Had to purchase after seeing some sell from under me. It was a pretty fast purchasing process all around. Might have been their easiest car sell of the year. Conclusion: I trust & feel confident purchasing from McGrath Kia. The process was easy & the staff was inviting & friendly. Store was in fantastic condition. No issues at all. Wish I saved some money, but I'll pay extra for a vehicle ready to go and solid for travel with no updates needed. The vehicle has been great to me. Thank you Vearle, I appreciate your help. Buy a car from the guy!

Also Michael the manager gave top notch service also. Also Matt in the service department was top notch also. It is hard to find a card dealer that is honest and keeps their word. Bought a new Sorrento from Willowbrook Kia. Price was fine but customer service has been terrible. The night of purchase we did not get the 2nd key fob nor the cargo net. We are now at Day 28 and communication is nonexistent unless I text or call. Even when I do I don't get much of answer even though they say they will call back. Tomorrow I will escalate thru the dealership then to the BBB if no response.

Gerald Kia has one of the worst service departments I’ve ever dealt with, and their behavior was borderline deceptive. I brought my Kia Sorento in for a transmission issue. At drop-off, I physically demonstrated the problem to the service writer, Marty, who clearly saw it and confirmed it himself. I also requested a routine oil change and tire rotation. After dropping the car off, they gave me a loaner the next day — which now feels like a distraction tactic rather than actual service. The very next day, they suddenly claimed they could not confirm the issue at all, directly contradicting what their own employee had already verified. Later that same day, I received another call with a completely different story: They said the transmission had been replaced 10,000 miles ago by another Kia dealership and that it was grossly overfilled with DOUBLE the required transmission fluid. Let’s be clear: That is KIA NEGLIGENCE, not mine. Instead of escalating this internally with Kia (which is what any competent dealership should do), Gerald Kia tried to dump the responsibility on me, telling me I had two options: 1. Come pick up the car 2. Pay for a transmission flush Unacceptable. I then contacted Kia Consumer Affairs, opened an official case, and was instructed to leave the vehicle at the dealership while Kia handled it. When I informed Gerald Kia of this, the service manager Justin reacted emotionally and unprofessionally, demanded the loaner back immediately, and made it clear they had no interest in helping once corporate got involved. I returned the loaner and decided I was done. Suddenly, they claimed all charges were waived and I owed nothing. That’s when I asked a simple question: Were the oil change and tire rotation I requested actually done? The service writer said yes — then scrambled to find paperwork — and finally admitted THEY WERE NEVER DONE AT ALL. NO WONDER WHY CHARGERS WERE WAIVED LOL STAY AWAY FROM THIS DISGUSTING DEALERSHIP! ESPECIALLY THEIR SERVICE MANAGER JUSTIN! CALLED ME AFTER HE SEEN THIS REVIEW UPSET ABOUT IT DIDNT GIVE ME A CHANCE TO SPEAK AT ALL! HE KEPT TELLING WE GAVE U A LOANER FOR FREE FOR 1 DAY, LIKE REALLY? YOU GAVE ME A LOANER AS YOU SHOULD SO YOU DIDNT DO ANYTHING FOR ME AT ALL! PLUS THAT LOANER WAS JUST TO KEEP ME QUIET! THEN REPEATEDLY KEPT TELLING ME YOU ARE NOT A MAN YOU ARE NOT A MAN! I FELT HARASSED AND THREATENED ME NOT TO EVER COME BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP EVER AGAIN AND HUNG UP ON ME!

Brought the car back to show them I was told when u buy a used car u get somebody else problems. I am a 67 year old lady. Feel ripped off. Cannot recommend this dealer to anyone. Dropped my car off for warranty related repairs and picked it up with deep scratches all alroujd the vehicle. Pictures showed no damage prior to service. Once the service manager was called out for the damage and the pictures were used to verify no damage prior, they turned me away so now I have not gotten the light fixed and neither have they taken accountability for the damage they caused to the vehicle. They said get a lawyer and call the police. That’s what I’m doing! All of the pictures magically disappeared after that too. Terrible dealership. Stay far away. Unprofessional too!

I, like a lot of other people apparently, was interested in getting a fully loaded 2027 Seltos in Iceberg Green. I went through a number of dealerships – the first could not get any dealer to trade with them, the second refused to reserve it for me even with a deposit, the third told me it was there when it was sold the day before. I ended up contacting Bradley of Kia to see if they could locate one, and shortly after was contacted by Grayson who told me he could probably get me one sooner than the other dealership I was talking to. I ended up putting a $500 deposit down to secure the exact model through a dealer trade and went to pick it up on my day off, driving an hour each way, only to find that it too had been sold the day before I got there even though it had been reserved for me. Grayson openly admitted this was their mistake, and general sales manager Derek also came in to apologize and told me this was not how they do business, and also let me know that if I was interested in continuing to do business with them, they would locate the exact car I wanted and sell it to me for $1,000 less than their invoice price. Grayson promised that they would do everything to get me the car I wanted, even if he had to drive to get it himself. This was vastly different than my experience at a North Aurora Kia dealership that had also told me a car was available when it wasn't. They owned up to the error and made it worth my while to come back. Within a week, they had located the exact vehicle and did a dealer trade. Their employee drove 6 hours round trip to bring it back to Bradley for me to purchase on my next day off. This time the car was waiting for me outside, and was exactly what I wanted. The dealership honored their $1,000 off invoice price, and was able to get me the price and monthly payment that I wanted. The manager stopped in and thanked me for coming back to do business with them. The car was washed and had a full tank when I left with it, and I couldn't be happier.

I strongly suggest not getting a KIA at all. Mostly this dealership but all KIA dealerships are very terrible at servcie.

I brought my family to Courtesy Kia a couple of years ago and purchased two vehicles from their lot and later ordered a third; while replacing our Fords. We sat down with a salesman named John Bush and he has become the icon of terrific quality and trust. The process was immense with three people eyeballing him, asking questions, wanting demonstrations, and very vocal about what we wanted and needed. But John never faltered and answered every question we tossed him and made sure the paperwork was finalized for both us (our family) and the front office. After the purchases for my wife and daughter, I decided to go back the following year for myself and would not dare go anywhere else; except straight to John’s desk. Each time, John went over everything and discussed options, taking me back to see a model that had just come in that was being prepared for another customer that helped me decide for sure! What makes a salesperson great is what John is; by listening very carefully to what our daughter was saying about her excitement for her new Niro. John has extensive knowledge about vehicles and pointed out the family friendliness points of the Sportage to my wife. He was so transparent about his desire to really help us acquire the vehicles we really wanted with full honesty. Patient, empathetic, and remaining in touch to ensure we were satisfied with the vehicles, he helped make such a positive decision to buy! We were very honored to have found a salesperson who was not looking for a quick sale but a happy family when we drove away from the lot! Such wealth of knowledge, kindness, patience, and a desire to make the customer happy is why John Bush will always be the Salesman of the Year to us and for our next vehicles to come! Often imitated but shall never be duplicated in any way! Lou Fusz will only benefit substantially with the expertise and corporate knowledge of John Bush!

All the used vehicles were not certified. They were all absolutely filthy inside and needed some sort of repair complete before you could drive it off the lot. The first car we asked to test drive had a bad wheel bearing strut. We didn't even make it off the lot because it wasn't safe to drive! Why would they let someone test drive an unsafe vehicle off their lot!!?? On a positive note, the salesman was very accommodating and friendly. He definitely had is work cut out for him.
