I have been dealing with Mercedes-Benz of Smithtown for all of my automotive needs since 2002 and with Rob Picone as my only service advisor for the last several years. The dealership itself is a marvel: always spotlessly clean and filled with informed and accommodating people.
Of course, my most frequent & direct experiences are with Rob, who I cannot praise enough. He listens very carefully to my concerns, clearly outlines my options, accurately predicts my costs, goes out of his way to accommodate my schedule, and delivers my car on time and cleaned.

We just purchased a 2017 GLC 300. Since it is “ previously owned”, we were somewhat nervous about buying it, but our sales rep, Jennifer Mangone, did an incredible job explaining the fact that it is Certified & what that means. She also explained how all of the bells & whistles on the car work. My wife & I are not tech oriented, but Jennifer slowly & patiently took us thru the tutorial ... twice. She even offered to provide an in person refresher course. As if that wasn’t enough, she called the day after we brought the car home to see if we had any immediate questions or problems. Buying a car is a big deal to us so it really helps to have someone like Jennifer on your team! Thanks, Jen!

Service Department - Disappointed
My C300 was diagnosed by my mechanic as having a faulty fuel injector module. My husband called MB of GB and spoke to a service representative who quoted the cost and said to call before bringing the car in. He told the rep that the car is not registered but insured. I made the call and spoke to Bill in service to let him know the car was coming in. He said he never heard of a fuel injector module and refused to work on the car being it was not registered. My husband arrived and was told the same thing. I'm glad to hear their service is equally rude to men, I had suspicions of being treated like a woman who knows nothing.
End of the story, the car is on its way to Another dealership where the car was purchased. Goldens Bridge would've been easier as it is closer. It's too bad, I purchase cars based on the service department. Not sales.

This was the best car dealer that I ever purchased a car from. The most professional and courtesy staff that I ever dealt with. The sales person Adenike Dean and all the staff went way above and beyond to accommodate my self and the family. They even provided a driver to pick me up to take delivery of the car to accommodate my family schedule. I cant enough excellent and positive comments about the dealership. The total experience was great from buying the car and taking delivery. Thank you everyone at Mercedes-Benz of Wappingers Falls.

I made a $5,000 deposit towards a lease of a 2020 AMG GT 53 to be build. At the time when the build was started I deposited $5000. The sales person and I did the did the build using the Mercedes Benz on line website. The MSRP at the time of the build was $111,780. A few months later I received a letter from the dealer that the final price before tax and title would be $119,305. I decided to cancel the lease and requested a full refund. The sales person stated that my deposit was nonrefundable. I requested to speak to the owner and I was told he was not available to speak to me.

I called and requested a date to bring my car in on August 13th they were booked out till August 28th. Unfortunately my drive train problem could not wait and on August 21st I had to drive straight to the dealer it was making so much noise I was terrified. Well that was Wednesday and they did not look at it till Monday 8/26. Really they could not assess till Monday? Road my bike to errands. I did pick it up Wednesday and drove it straight to a different car dealer to trade it in for a new car. I would not treat my worst enemy like they did. And on top of it I read on the receipt what was done. No one even talked to me or my husband about it.

I spent several weeks looking around for a newer low mileage (less than 10,000 mile) Cadillac CTS-V coupe in black with a manual transmission. After reviewing all the normal sites such as autotrader.com and cars.com. I found that Mercedes-Benz of Rochester, NY had the exact car that I was looking for. After talking with Bob several times over the phone, he made me feel at ease and it would be a smooth transition. So I preceded to drive the well over 600 miles from Ft. Bragg(yes I am a U.S. Army Soldier) to Rochester, NY. I was greeted at the door by Bob, who unfortunately had a family emergency, and was redirected to Rene. I could not speak higher of this dealership and the sales team that helped me (Bob Corset and Rene Isidore) as well as the sales manger, Matthew Koplin. The vehicle that I was purchasing had a minor issue. (a sensor went bad upon delivery), and I truly believe that this dealership could not have handled this more professionally, and definitely put my mind at ease about the several hundred mile drive. Anyone that is considering purchasing a new Mercedes or used car regardless of where you are in the U.S., should look no farther than this dealership. It is beyond the shadow of a doubt, worth the drive.
