I purchased a used Nissan Rogue for my teenage daughter. The service engine light came on one day after the purchase and the diagnosis came back as the catalytic converter. Car was dropped off to have a new catalytic converter installed. We picked up the car at 5 pm and at 6 pm the same evening the car stalled in the middle of an intersection and had to be towed back to Heritage. We were told by the service department that they did not do the work and the garage that did the work did not hook all of the wire correctly. The service department was very apologetic, but I wanted to reach out Kevin because I didn't have much faith in the vehicle. Speaking with Kevin, it was clear that he could have absolutely cared less about our situation and having to bring the vehicle in for service twice in the first week of owning the vehicle. He showed zero empathy and kept saying it was "bad luck" that we had those issues. I'm now stuck with a vehicle that I am extremely nervous every time we drive. I will never recommend your dealership to anyone.

I brought my 2016 Highlander in for what could have been a very costly repair. My service advisor and technicians were very careful about making sure the repair was actually needed. After extensive observation and road testing it turns out the problem was something very minor. I have always had my vehicles serviced at Toyota of Scranton and I do so because I am confident that they have the best interests of the customer in mind.

The service department gave me a call after my inspection and service was complete and detailed what services I could have done on my car but stated that they didn’t need to be done to pass inspection. Without asking, he gave me the prices and didn’t pressure me to have them done. I asked how long it would take to get those things done (my husband was waiting on the car), and I was given an estimate of an hour. I elected to have everything done, and the time estimate was accurate. Great service!

ZERO STARS. Brought my vehicle in for an alignment. Team came back and said it needed much more than an alignment. Was informed replacement of entire front wheel (ball bearing steering wheel column and wheel hub)was necessary to consider the car "safe" I was quoted a total price of $1400. I received a call from service manager the following day who informed me the price they quoted me was just for the parts for some reason "the system" which is supposed to calculate labor cost into invoice didn't include it. I was informed that the additional cost for the labor was north of $600 but they were willing to "work with me" and split the difference with me and charge me their "cost" because the error was on their part. I felt stuck they already had my vehicle and if I take it somewhere else for another estimate then I'm further inconvenienced and without a vehicle for at the very least an additional two days.
After subsequent conversations they said the "best" they could offer me was $230 for their labor mistake. Claiming since they covered a rental for me for two days and with labor discount they were already absorbing $500 on the total job. In my opinion their error, their cost. I have purchased four cars from this dealership and recommended several family and friends to purchase vehicles from them. I relayed to them in the long run they are going to lose much more than $236 with the poor service they provided in this instance. I went in for a $100 alignment and came out with an additional $1500 worth of expenses.

I’ve had 2 negative experiences at this dealership. I bought a new Toyota Camry here years ago and ordered a certain color pinstripe. When I went to pick up the car, the pinstriper had done it in a color he thought would look better! Since when does someone paid to do a job make a decision like that? At that time, they took a photo of you when you bought a new car, and I still have it showing how upset I was.
Now I have another Camry that’s just over 2 years old. It replaced the car I had for almost 20 years, and is my 3rd Toyota. The leather on the steering wheel is coming apart and they don’t want to replace it. It should be under warranty, but Tri-County kicks responsibility to Toyota corporate, who kicks responsibility to Tri-County. Not to mention that the car has a recall on it and I received a letter informing me that it could be more prone to accidents, but they have no resolution to the problem yet!
What it really comes down to is they sure don’t build the cars the way they used to. And this dealership should be working harder to make sure that their customer is satisfied and taken care of. This car was A LOT of money for a Camry (an XSE model), and should not be coming apart after only 2 years. I am not a happy customer, and don’t suggest you using this service facility.

Service used to treat me like a queen when I bought my brand new Camry in 2011. Now they treat me like an imbecile. Nick Gentili, my service manager, is pushy, borderline rude, lied to me, tried to sell me a new battery which I did not need, took three days to get me a fourth tire instead of just telling me they weren't all in stock, I could have brought my car back another day. They put me in a gas hog Nissan pickup as a free loaner car. I got fed up and told them to just take the new tires off and I'll go somewhere else. Nick told me he couldn't because my car was still on a lift and the service people had all left. COME ON!! What dealership leaves a car on a lift for three days??? They must think I'm stupid. On top of everything, Nick seems to have a problem wearing a mask. I had to ask him to wear his. I'm gonna try one of the Toyota dealerships in Harrisburg.

Not sure why I keep taking my vehicles back for service here. The last time, in January 2021, when taking in my Prius for inspection, oil change, and safety recall, the service rep took my coupons without telling me they would only honor one of them. Why not tell me that when I handed them to you and before you did the service?
The time before that, change$ was stolen out of my car door handle while in for service. When I told the service rep that there was money taken from my car, he told me the coins probably popped out on the ground when I closed the door... ... [the change had been there for months, I just so happen to count it when I dropped off the car, curious to test the honesty of the Team Toyota]. They failed. The issue was never addressed after that - I was not contacted, nor was there any attempt to reimburse. You think this would be a high crime for a dealership, trusting them to not steal ANYTHING, not a dime, not a dollar, not a hundred dollars, from your vehicle when left for service. They did not take this seriously.
The third time before that, I dropped off my older Sequoia to have the hatch window repaired. I was quote $300ish dollars. When I picked it up, the service rep let me know that they incorrectly estimated the repair... it was $700+ not $300. They didn't eat their mistake, I did.
And yet, I continued to take my vehicles back for service because Team Toyota is less than a mile from my house and because I am willing to overlook a mistake. But I'm done being the the fool.
