We are from the New York State area and were interested in purchasing a used vehicle that they reassured us they had on the lot. Over a series of phone calls, general manager Jessica Kupini referred us over to sales associate John, who explained to us that they were not in possession of the vehicle’s title and could not immediately schedule a time to sell the vehicle. We reassured him that we would be willing to wait, and over the next two phone calls he ended each by saying he would get back to me with more details about the vehicle, its status, the title, and issues with contacting the DMV. Suffice to say that the last time we heard from him, he said he would call back the next day, but did not. After checking the car finder website where we had first spotted the listing for the vehicle, we were surprised to find that they sold it without communicating this information to us. Three weeks of back and forth were wasted with this dealership who could have easily explained that they sold the car to a local buyer, even though we offered to put a down payment on the car and make the 6 hour trip to see and purchase it at their soonest convenience. This abhorrent level of communication is bad for business, and just demonstrates that they do not value the time and energy of their clients.

This place is a joke!! I Would never buy from them again went to look at a truck they had called back the next day told them I wanted it they said they would pull truck of the lot they never did! Then had to keep calling them to see if I was approved nobody would call me back guy kept saying they are busy so I drove over a hour to go down to talk in person to see what was going on all the sales team was standing around doing nothing yeah so busy couldn’t call back was also told I would get $100 card to say thank you for buying off them never saw that either now I have been trying to get a hold of them about the warranty keep leaving voicemails 6 days now calling every day again keep getting told by a guy they are real busy my butt they are! don’t buy from them they are just looking for the sale and they won’t work with u on the price FYI told me they are only making $59 profit off the truck yeah ok

I left York VW with a sour taste in my mouth. Granted, they did spend a lot of time cooperating with us for our last minute purchase, but I felt like I was being chased for their business. My convertible top was stuck and I had problem retracting it, turns out that it was not maintained well and was working fine. I entered anticipating a huge bill, but the technician, I forgot the gentlemen's name, was honest and told me everything worked fine and gave me tips to maintain it so I won't have future problems. I am taking the time to write an excellent review of Fred Beans Volkswagen of Doylestown--notably Marty Sholly (Manager) and Nick Cordenner (Sales Consultant). We participated in the end of the year quest to sell 3000 vehicles, and expected to get a great deal--but we got a deal far better than expected, with the most professional and patient service possible. The entire staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The show room was neat and showed off three gorgeous vehicles (one of which, we bought). Although it does take time to select, test drive and buy a new car, Mr. Sholly and Mr. Cordenner made the experience fun and even delightful. I would not hesitate to go back. Thank you very much!

I came to Jeff D'Ambrosio after VERY sour experience at Volkswagen of Reading. I initially called to inquire about a 2020 VW Atlas and had the pleasure of speaking with Tina Trisvan. I explained I was in the market for a car and, after a poor experience at another dealership, I was willing to make the hour drive to check out what they had on the lot. Tina was awesome and we made an appointment for me to test drive the next day after I was done with work. When I did get to the dealership, I was greeted by Rick, their sales manager, and was promised that they would take care of me. Walt, my salesman, was wonderful! He was very patient with ALL my questions and if he couldn't answer my question, he made sure to find the answer from one of his counterparts. He took the time to go over the features and options in the vehicle, and by the time we got back from our test drive, I was ready to buy the car. She was such a silver fox! This was the first vehicle I purchased without my parents present to help me with my confidence, but the professionals at this dealership made me feel comfortable and confident with my purchase. There was no pressure. I HIGHLY recommend taking the drive to Downingtown to visit Rick and his team to peruse the new and used vehicles on their lot. I am so happy that I purchased my Atlas from such a professional team. They have this girl's loyalty to keep coming back for service and future sales.

Purchasing a used vehicle and recalling a bad experience I had here with a used car awhile back. Worst car buying experience of my life. Bought a used car for close to $6,000 and after driving it off the lot found out it had unsafe brakes then engine issues. Cost me $2,000 just to get it drivable and then was told another 3,000 would be needed to work on the engine. I had to scrap the vehicle and took a huge loss. No one at the dealership would give me the time of day to make it right. Go elsewhere

This dealership is the epitamony of garbage. Their service department is lacking in quite a few areas. Instead of explaining what the part that needs to be replaced is and what it does the answer is "it reads things and is bad" When asked about tires failing inspection the advisor could not even explain tread depth. No tdi techs and most of the other techs literally have no idea what they are doing. Beware, do not shop or service at this place. I have no idea how they still have a Volkswagen franchise.

I visited the VW of Reading after being referred there from a friend who has made multiple purchases from this location. I was greeted by Brendan, and I explained I had seen the advertisement for the 0% APR for 72 months on the 2020 Atlas. He told me that the dealer had expired and was only for the Cross Sport. I pulled up the website to point out the fine print showing it included the MY19 & MY20 Atlas, EXCLUDING the Cross Sport, which I wasn't interested in to begin with. He said that he didn't have any of the lot but he would look for some models and email me the next day. I said that I would take any color, except red, and that I was looking for a SEL Premium model. He wrote down my information and I never heard from him. It left a sour impression and I took my business to another VW dealership over a hour away.

I am very happy with the sales and finance departments but their service department is one of the worst I have ever dealt with. Their service Dept. Is open till 6 PM M - F. I called on Friday 2/14 @ 5:23 PM. Went straight to voicemail. Called the following day before 10:00 AM and again, straight to voice mail. I am still waiting for a call back but I have no idea why I should be surprised, I have been waiting almost 3 years for them to call and tell me if the replacement fenders for my 2006 Jetta had been approved. I mentioned this just a few months ago when I purchased another vehicle there. Just lucky there are other service centers that are willing to call you back to help get your car back in service.

1. A day after I got a 2020 car they called and said I have to redo all paperwork because they messed up the price
2. Few days later they called AGAIN because they messed up the VIN number on all the paperwork and I had to redo all of the paperwork AGAIN (3rd time doing the paperwork)
3. They dont give me the full deal that was posted on the VW website although I qualified! They gave the 0% interest and NOT the first 4 months delay on first payment. The excuse is that the salesman didn't give me an additional form for it. I'm not a sales man and I dont know what paperwork they have for me, I simply signed what they gave me. I literally showed the salesman the screen shot of the deal i wanted when i went there to make the purchase

My boyfriend and I test drove a CPO VW Tiguan on Saturday with Rob Soll. He was nice enough, he was kind of rude when we brought up interest rates but whatever, he’s a sales guy, we get it. This was our first day of test driving cars and we were upfront and honest with Rob and he understood and was not pushy at all.
We gave Rob a call today (Monday) to let him know we got pre-approved to purchase the Tiguan and asked if it was available. Rob confirmed the car was available and had us update our insurance, send our identification among other things. He let us know the car was reserved and would be getting washed before we came to finalize the sale at 6pm.
We drove 40 minutes from Philly to Langhorne to be greeted by the same four salesmen who swarmed us on Saturday before realizing that VW had (for whatever reason) assigned Rob our lead. We let them know we were there to meet with Rob and that we were buying the white Tiguan.
After waiting in an uncomfortable and sterile-like showroom for fifteen minutes, a new salesman appears and says Rob is busy with two other clients and he’d be taking over (weird.) Manny (new salesmen) proceeded to let us know THE CAR SOLD EARLIER THAT DAY. Rob refused our calls, didn’t respond to our texts, as Manny assured us he was here to help and would make things right.
I wish we had left right then and there. Unfortunately, we fell victim to the disgusting car salesmen BS Manny was pulling and were convinced that test driving the (higher end trim) Tiguan that was still available on the lot.
Once back in the showroom, Manny, his sales manager and the rest of the joe-schmo schmucks working at this dealership proceeded to give us the runaround. After the third back and forth, we finally got up and left.
Overall this was the most horrible experience I’ve had in terms of car shopping. We have decided to buy a brand new 2020 SEL from VW of Cherry Hill and are much more satisfied with the level of professionalism and respect we got there than at Piazza VW of Langhorne.
