Ms. Breeland has been the consistency and partnership I needed to continue to feel confident with my purchase. Upon purchase of my used car, there was a written agreement and verbal agreement that was shared with me on things the dealership would make right to ensure the safety of my purchase. Vineta listened carefully, executed with great attention to detail and communicated continuously to maintain a connection that unfolded not just a resolution, but a successful partnership. Purchasing a “new to me” vehicle with a considerable price tag was intimidating. Leaving with less than I had dreamed after completing financial paperwork, was again intimidating. However, I couldn’t be more grateful for her commitment to making sure things not only worked out with my wild schedule, but I couldn’t also gain confidence in my purchase. 1FAFP90S25Y400006 - The dealership is selling this 2005 Ford GT that had many visible as well as hidden issues. Had I not done a $500 PPI (pre purchase inspection) I am fairly certain none of the issues would have been described. Dealers' jobs are to sell cars, I get that, but knowingly selling a car with severe issues is yet another. After they picked up the car from my disastrous review, which was done by Fred Ficken Ford nearby, the car went right back up for sale. Why am I writing this? If someone searches this vin number, hopefully they will order a PPI and know NOT to buy this car. Issues? Brakes are shot, rotors are cracking, shocks are gone, shocks are not original to the car, tranmission may have been dropped from the car, undercarriage damage, all 4 wheels need to be replaced, not reprayed, but replaced (which is very hard to source), tires are from 2008 and need to be replaced, CLUTCH IS SHOT, and a host of other issues. The mechanic reported paint work on rear bumper as well as burn marks on body paint from "buffing" issues. The doors do not line up on either side of the car and stripes are off for this reason when viewing from the side. Interior has damage on console as well as "odd damage consistent with possibly removing the seats" as the car is believed to have been heavily tracked. This car will take $50,000 just to make is driveable but it is unlikely to be original and after all the above, 1/3 of the car will need to be replaced. Clutch is so bad and slipping is happening already, it is about a $10,000-15,000 job to replace the clutch and re-assemble it. Hopefull you are reading this. McLaren Charlotte was very nice, and delivered the car for its PPI the day after I called - but the car is a disaster and nobody should entertain buying it without knowing the above. The above are FACTS, not conjecture, supported in the PPI.

Gaffney GMC sold me my second Canyon in February 2021. It has been serviced exclusively by their service department since new. At 105,000 miles, they flushed the cooling system, tuned the engine, changed the transmission fluid and filter, serviced the differential and changed the lock switch. The truck is good for another 105,000 miles. Was it expensive? Yes!! Was it worth the money? Yes, which is especially true when you consider it costs $500 in sales tax, $400 in dealer fees and some $50 for paperwork to buy a new truck. In addition to these costs, consider higher property taxes, higher insurance premiums and higher depreciation for the first three or so years. I just had it detailed and it looks great.
