I was searching online for a vehicle to purchase & handling communications via email, the Autobarn Mazda of Evanston was very attentive to my emails. Jason Harris was quick to respond & provided information I requested. Feel like we could've made a deal, but some of the communication towards the end was not timely and I did make an early offer that was denied but then the vehicle was later listed at the price I offered. In the end, it was meant to be though, it wasn't exactly what I was looking for. In the end, the response to my emails & quality of information provided was impressive and I would recommend anyone interested in a vehicle at their dealership to at least reach out & start communication.

This past week we bought a late-model used car at Napleton Subaru in Palatine for our college-age daughter. We like Subarus because they are highly rated in terms of safety. We want to give a shout out to Dan Garcia, the sales rep we worked with, and Perry Kahkesh, who did the financing for us. Both are worthy of five stars (out of five!). We were treated courteously and professionally every minute of our visit. Dan took into consideration every concern we had, especially those of our daughter. We highly recommend Napleton Subaru in Palatine!

This review is long overdue, but I wanted to recognize the exceptional customer service I received at Napleton’s Schaumburg Mazda. Special thanks to Chris, Rachel, and Brian for going far above and beyond to help with an unexpected car issue. Their professionalism and genuine care made a stressful situation so much easier. My car had an issue with the front headlight fan, something I learned is fairly common for my model. Chris explained that the entire headlight assembly might need to be replaced and recommended checking my warranty first, since the repair could cost around $2,000. Unfortunately, my warranty provider was very difficult to work with—unhelpful and inconsistent. After I struggled to speak with my warranty company, Chris and Rachel stepped in and called them for me multiple times. The company initially said the product replacement would be covered, so the dealership moved forward with the work. But later the warranty company suddenly reversed and denied the claim. Rather than pass that surprise cost onto me, Chris, Rachel, and Service Manager Brian made the decision to cover the repair themselves. I didn’t pay a dime! They absolutely didn’t have to do that. I believe most car dealerships would have said that their hands are tied, and forced the client to pay that cost, since they work separately from the warranty company. I am so thankful to have had these 3 employees, because they had my back. That level of integrity is rare. Throughout the process, they were responsive, honest, and professional, and I won’t forget the kindness they showed. If you’re looking for a dealership with people you can trust, I highly recommend them. Chris, Rachel, and Brian earned a lifelong customer. Thank you again

Was looking for a specific used vehicle & their lot happened to get one in. Purchased from McGrath Kia of xx. Charles in April of 2026. All the workers on the floor were very pleasant. The sales rep that helped me specifically, was Vearle. He was fantastic. Answered all my questions, well informed, lots of experience, honest, fun & easy going. Although, it felt difficult to get the attention of upper management. Carlos Fuentes was quick, brief, with short answers & not a whole lot to include. He could have been busy, it's just the impression I got. Vearle made sure to be as helpful as he could with me regarding additional requests. There was a little issue with some paperwork after the fact, which almost required me to make the 2+ hour drive back to the store. Instead, they sent someone to me to sign some additional papers. That was helpful, but I feel avoidable. Otherwise, document signing & all employees I encountered while doing so were very pleasant, friendly, well informed & I would recommend. The vehicle was in great condition when I picked it up. The service department did a solid job cleaning it up. It is a used vehicle & has some minor flaws, but it is what I was looking for & has operated perfectly. All inspections after purchase have been clean. Vehicle has no current major issues that need addressed and it appears ready to run for awhile. Solid, dependable and trusted vehicle that I assume McGrath Kia inspected to make sure it was good to go. The pricing was competitive to the market, but if you have other options, might be worth it to talk down some dollars. They are by no means way over priced though. Beautiful store.. bright, clean, spacious, comfortable, vibrant & felt welcoming. Lots of options & available help at the store. Photos & information about vehicle were clear, upfront, correct & nothing surprising or disappointing. All available information online was helpful & transparent. Great communication via email/online & in store. Online information was up to date, current & correct. I wanted to wait a few months to see if anything wild happened since my purchase, but it's been a solid vehicle. All paperwork was handled in a timely fashion & I've had zero issues. I know McGrath Kia is in the business of selling KIA, but the used 2017 Mazda CX-5 I purchased from them was a win for both sides. I appreciate not given a big hat to wear during my purchase, but I did ring the bell... but I broke it. LoL! I drove hours because I was fairly confident after communications & descriptions online that I was a likely purchaser for this vehicle, and just my luck, I was. I had been looking at buying for 5 months but rarely found what I really wanted. Had to purchase after seeing some sell from under me. It was a pretty fast purchasing process all around. Might have been their easiest car sell of the year. Conclusion: I trust & feel confident purchasing from McGrath Kia. The process was easy & the staff was inviting & friendly. Store was in fantastic condition. No issues at all. Wish I saved some money, but I'll pay extra for a vehicle ready to go and solid for travel with no updates needed. The vehicle has been great to me. Thank you Vearle, I appreciate your help. Buy a car from the guy!

The dealership was a slightly above average experience. I had some reservations but they were able to provide prompt service and were willing to work with me on my trade-in value. There are some old the usual standard dealership sales practices that I don't love but if you let them know that you are serious about making a deal and they get that same sense, the process goes a bit smoother. Mohammed is a pretty straightforward salesperson and will help you work on getting what you want.

He made me feel comfortable and I appreciate how he created a video showing me exactly what I was looking for. His positive attitude and genuine care made buying a car an enjoyable experience. And even though I traveled from the city (Chicago) to Schamburg to make this purchase I'd do it again and recommend anyone interested in purchasing a car to do so too. I also worked with Mario in finance. I appreciate his professionalism, patience and input in helping me. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answer my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable with my financing options. Wish they had more cars on the lot because getting a model in a different color was a bigger problem than it should have been. Took over two weeks and they didn't exactly match the offer made on the initial day (for a car they were told I wasn't interested in because it was the wrong color). To their credit, they kept me in the loop and Wally, our salesman, was very good. Ultimately, Wally went the distance and made the trip himself to get the Sorento in the color my wife wanted. The ensuing negotiation (with the sales manager) was frustrating (for the above reason) but we still secured a good price. Definitely one I will sleep comfortably with!

I like going to Golf Mill much better than Jennings. I was a regular customer at Jennings for years however they screwed me on an oil change so I moved to Golf Mill. I called ahead for an appointment for oil change, TPS sensors & a leaking left rear axel seal. That was a Tuesday. Having to wait until Friday to get my truck back is silly to me. I was an autotech for 25 years ( I can verify) All of my experience is on euro cars but I am pretty certain it does not take 4 days to complete these. The axel seal is 4 hours max - with break shoes. I know the game but I am paying for a rental. It does'nt seem right to me. Sadly, I may have to start looking for another dealer
