I had a great sales experience with Scott Shawbitz. He was very accommodating, making it very easy for my wife and I to compare and decide on a model. He was also very organized and efficient and we were able to get everything done and drive home with our new car in very little time. He followed up with us after to make sure we were loving our new car (we do!), and he took the time to get to know my wife and I as we worked through the process. I will definitely be coming back to Scott for our next vehicle!

Adam Taylor was very helpful with our purchase of a used truck. We came in to look at a GMC Canyon but bought a Silverado instead. Everyone was very cordial throughout the transaction. My wife and I visited Suburban Honda in Farmington to get an oil change and an appraisal on our 2024 Honda HR-V, as the lease was expiring. We were paired with Andrew Perkins, who walked us through the different options for our trade-in in detail. He was incredibly helpful, and we decided to take a couple of days to come back after we had time to digest the numbers he provided. When we returned, we ended up loving the 2026 CR-V Hybrid. We had several questions for Andrew and for Dontae about promotional rates, APR, and different scenarios to maximize the value of the deal. Throughout the entire process, they were extraordinarily kind and patient. They answered all of our questions in detail and were never pushy, even when discussing accessories and add-on packages we weren’t interested in. What stood out most was that it felt like they were listening more than talking, which is a rare and welcome quality in sales. We felt respected and never felt hurried, even though the Saturday we came back was clearly busy. Andrew remained attentive while balancing multiple customers, and Dontae stepped in seamlessly whenever Andrew was with other customers. It genuinely felt like our experience was the priority, not the sale. We ended up purchasing the CR-V Hybrid, and Dontae was kind enough to work in some additional benefits we had initially declined at a price point that made sense for us. We’ve had tremendously pleasant experiences with Suburban Honda in the past when we purchased our first two Hondas, and I have no doubt we’ll be back for future purchases. Honda makes great vehicles, but the dealership experience can vary widely even within the same brand. Suburban Honda is, without question, the best in metro Detroit. Having been to other Honda dealerships in the area, I wouldn’t recommend anyone go anywhere else. The folks at Suburban Honda in Farmington have consistently been the easiest and most pleasant to work with. We will be going there for all future Honda purchases, services, and repairs. That loyalty is based on our experiences and the authenticity we felt working with the people in that building, particularly Andrew and Dontae. They are second to none.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Financing was super easy and they also took our suggestion to use a credit union we were already a part of and that really helped because we secured a pretty good finance rate through them. Best dealership that I have ever encountered. I worked directly with my great salesman Chris and the sales manager Antonio. I bought a beautiful used car that many dealerships would sell as is. I asked if they would fix a few things like adding new tires (the ones on the used car needed replacement) and a slight vibration issue. I thought they may tell me to go pound sand. However Antonio did not blink and said done. They went over and above my expectations. I now recommend all of my friends and co-workers to this dealership. I work at Ford Motor company and I told Antonio that he and his team are spectacular to work with. He simply responded we care more about customers than selling cars. We build relationships. So true and I plan on letting Dealer Relations inside of Ford know that more dealerships should be like Ford Suburban Ferndale. What a great experience and I love my 20MY Lincoln MKZ
