I worked with David Davidson purchasing a 2019 VW GTI. While going through the process we dealt with heavy winter storms and delays from FedEx on paperwork. David kept in touch with me through the whole process and did everything he could to make sure things went smoothly and got completed as quickly as possible David was a great guy to work with and I would highly recommend him.

I will say purchase went smooth, I was initially very... - Mike
I will say purchase went smooth, I was initially very please with my purchase. I purchased a 2019 Chevy 3500 HD in very good condition with remaining factory warranty and included the HE promise and a lifetime warranty on drive terrain. All great I thought. I was told it went through the GM multipoint inspection and everything checked out. Now 6 months later and 5K miles my truck is setting in a dealership in another state and needing almost $6,000 in repair just to get the tires to roll again.
I contacted HE for support in helping with this $6000.00 to get the tires rolling again. A insulting $790.00 dollars was offered and no other support. So 6 months after buying a beautiful used vehicle from this dealership I am stuck with a almost a 5K mechanic bill, half of a towing bill, almost $500.00 and no dealer support to say.
What happened to my Diesel truck with 70K miles? A very high level explanation provided to me from a very understanding Chevy dealership was, the emissions particulate filter malfunction causing back pressure bursting the boost hose to the intake, at that point the truck stopped dead in its tracks with my three horse trailer and horse in tow. Emission not covered under factory warranty after stated mileage. I asked for support and splitting the cost and was denied. By the way my truck has 100K factory warranty still in place but coverage is limited.
My experience with this dealership in the end is not good and if you buy a used vehicle from HE make sure you understand support will be minimal. I am now questioning the HE promise and the lifetime power train warranty that was one of the high points from the sales man, it almost feels like its just words. Now looking back they were only out to make a sale not to keep a customer. Remember buying a vehicle is much more that just how the sale goes in the beginning. When your miles from home and need your dealer, this one will leave you standing and on your own.

The service dept advisor Jorge is wonderful to work with.
Lost a star due to I ordered a cap to cover the towing spit on the front bumper and it only comes w/ primer not painted. I have to take it to a body shop to be painted. Not my idea of good customer service. I know it's not Jorge's responsibility.

Fantastic dealership and staff. Manager Dustin Rodgers... - jjohnso9
Fantastic dealership and staff. Manager Dustin Rodgers and salesman Mike Berry worked together to find and get my son the car he wanted. These men are a top notch team. The price and financing were both fair and the process was painless. We walked in the dealership after 2 PM on a Friday and my son drove off in his dream car that same day. This is the best dealership I've dealt with in a long time. And not to leave out the car, the Golf GTI is very impressive. What a Hot Rod!

Cory Caskey a new sales reprehensive with Hewlett Volkswagen did a great job presenting the VW ID4 electric vehicle just the other day. He was very personable and took notes to assure me that my needs were going to be met. If you are looking for a "non salesmen" customer service experience, please ask for Cory. Please remember that Cory is new and may not have all the answers, be he is eager to help and understands when its time to seek a senior sales professional.
This was my first visit to Hewlett Volkswagen in Round Rock. I'll be back

BEWARE SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!! - sesakw
BEWARE SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!!
So, my military son hit a pot hole and punctured his tire on the edge where it was irreparable. Took it to Hoy service, he had a tire and wheel policy to cover repairs. Josh in service advised him that the warranty company, Fidelity Warranty, denied the claim because the customer drove on the tire flat and abused the tire. After talking to my son, he did not know who the warranty company was or why it was declined. He called the dealership where he purchased the car and found out it was US warranty not Fidelity. The Adviser had flat out lied! I even talked to the adviser and he told me the same thing! The claim was denied due to customer abuse. Well if there is no contract with Fidelity the conversation would be "whats the VIN number, you have no contract" end of discussion. How do I know? I am a veteran adviser. I deal with these companies every day! So I asked for the service manager and got Willie who said he was the assistant to the service manager. (according to the web site he is the service manager) More Lies! I informed him who the warranty company was and he said he was not set up to deal with them. (Half truth!) The warranty company said they could take the claim over the phone and pay it in minutes. During this time the tech came into the office and exclaimed "are these idiots still arguing over the warranty?" Not realizing he was standing next to my son! So after 3 hours from the time my son arrived, the claim was paid and the car released and my son left. Never to return. This should have been an easy warranty claim. I have no idea whats going on. I only know they tried to charge my son $226 for a repair covered by tire warranty.!
My loyalty was worth ZERO to them! - JeffW
Let the buyer beware! After purchasing multiple VWs from this dealer, I was promised their help in solving a misunderstanding between their finance manager, Lee Nolen, and VW Credit regarding an early lease termination. Even though the problem had supposedly "been resolved" I got a bill from VW Credit almost a year later for an extra $1000. (I finally paid it just to keep from ruining my credit). The dealer was no help at all. I couldn't get the time of day from them after three months of messages left and in-person visits (Don't worry, we're working on it and will get back to you..."). Owner Bobby Beck and Sales Manager John Chapman do not deserve your trust or your business.
I purchased a Passat with an outdated Navigation program.... - konakid54
I purchased a Passat with an outdated Navigation program. Volkswagen of Alamo Heights promised that they would update when I purchased the car, but would need to order it. I called a few times after a few months, only to be told it was never ordered. They told me they would reorder. After a few months I called and they told me it wasn't in yet. A few months later, they said they had no record of the order.
I don't trust Volkswagen of Alamo Heights and would not recommend them as their word doesn't seem to mean anything.

We knew exactly what we wanted, had already researched and test drove elsewhere. We did a car search on a Saturday morning; WHVW had a CPO car we were interested in, priced fairly. I made an appointment for that same day at 3pm. I spoke with Russ for about 10 minutes on the phone prior, asking questions regarding CPO warranty, and car specifics; he was patient and clear. Test drove at 3pm, trial on a backroad and trialed our carseat. Went home, discussed. Came back around 6pm, and by 8pm (thanks for staying late!) we had everything signed, and the car was ours. Russ was great, as well as the financing gentleman. Great experience. We'll be back in the future.

This place has to be the worst place I have ever dealt with in customer service Left my car off for an oil change and alignment...two days later they have not even started the process I go to pick up the car and the back bumper is off and waited to get it put back on. Paid 150 for them to do nothing I would not a buy a car from this place for any reason I should have taken it to Lubbock to get it serviced ... the service department is the worst in Midland !
Bought a 2021 Atlas here 2 months ago. Drove in from... - CustomerHere
Bought a 2021 Atlas here 2 months ago. Drove in from Austin and picked up the vehicle. Process was ok hence the 2 stars. The problem is that I was assured when the plates came in they would be mailed to me since I live out of the area. Needless to say after 2 months I called and emailed Matthew Delgado and also reached out to "management". Eventually someone emailed me and said the plates have been there. Nobody bothered to notify my when they came in and they just sat there the whole time. I finally got a call from a "supervisor" and was told they would be mailed out. I also told them my paper tags are expired and need new ones emailed to me so I can print them out. This "supervisor" said he would notify the salesman that helped me, the same salesman that is ignoring my emails and calls, but he assured me he would call or email the tags. I have yet to hear from anyone regarding new paper tags while my plates arrive. What a bad end to a decent experience with these people. As I read the other complaints here I can relate. The dealer forgets about you once the car is sold, emails ignored unless you complain, and no actual supervision or management for customer service going on at North Park Volkswagen.
They’ll lie to void warranty - Nathan Fuchs
They will do everything possible, including lie, to void your warranty and stick you with a big bill. Very disappointed in their customer service, this will be the last VW I own.
I have never been treated worse by a business. I... - ConorR
I have never been treated worse by a business. I purchased a 2021 VW from this dealership on February 26. At that time, I purchased the VW Drive Easy and VW Care coverage and was told I had 30 days to reconsider and cancel for a refund of the prepaid maintenance (VW Care) and could cancel the extended warranty at any time, possibly for a fee and prorated rate. After consideration, I realized that I generally do not keep cars long enough to see any benefit from these programs knowing that I would probably purchase a new vehicle by 2023 or 2024. I immediately contacted the salesperson the same night letting them know I would like to cancel and refund the coverage. I was informed that this was possible and I could come into the dealership to get it taken care of. I returned to Brandon Tomes Volkswagen around 5 pm the following day (February 27) and completed a form to have the coverage refunded. The salesperson advised that it would be credited to my financing account. Additionally, I asked for a signed copy of the cancellation form with the signature of a Brandon Tomes representative for my records. The salesperson said that the person who could sign it wasn't available and that I would receive an email with the document and further clarification of how the refund or credit would appear that night. No such email was ever sent and I never received any communication from the dealership. I attempted to contact the salesperson at least a dozen times via email and phone over the course of the next couple of weeks, but again never received a response. I eventually went into the dealership on April 3 to pick up my new plates, at which point I had to track down the salesperson to see if I could get the paperwork. He said he would get the appropriate person and they would be right out. I stood at the front of the dealership with my kids for nearly an hour as the salesperson repeatedly walked past us and completely ignored me. Eventually, another employee asked why we were waiting so long and I explained that I was waiting for someone to provide me paperwork. He went to the back and the appropriate person (the person who handled the purchase financing who had moved into a different role). He brought the signed paperwork reflecting the credit for the Drive Easy coverage (which still is not reflected in my financing account), but not the VW Care worth nearly $1,300. He said that the VW Care could no longer be refunded because more than 30 days had passed. Needless to say, this was infuriating as I had requested that it be cancelled and refunded less than 24 hours after the purchase of the vehicle and had spent over a month trying to get in contact with anybody who could help. I emailed or called the salesperson multiple times as well as the general manager and owner, none of whom responded for over a month. The finance person who provided the paperwork "promised" me that they would call with an update either the same day or the next day at the latest. Unfortunately, I'm not at all surprised that I still haven't heard anything nearly another month later. This dealership's lack of communication and transparency has quite literally taken $1,300 out of my pocket with no explanation, communication, or even the slightest hint of caring about customers. Be warned, once they have your money, you no longer exist to them. Incredibly disappointed since I would love to support a McKinney business, but take your VW purchases elsewhere.
Very unhappy with this dealership. Today (2/5/21) I went... - iapedersky
Very unhappy with this dealership. Today (2/5/21) I went there with intent to purchase a 2021 VW Jetta S with manual transmission. The listed price on the website was 17,515. We had a nice salesperson (Stephanie) who showed us the car and took us for a test drive. She was very knowledgeable. I was ready to make the deal and asked for the "out the door" price. When going over the paperwork, I noticed there was an additional charge of over $3000 for "dealer accessories". They said these are added to all of their vehicles. It included things like $400 for key replacement, $1500 for some kind of protective coating they put on the car, nitrogen in the tires, and VIN etching on the windows. I did not want any of the items on that list and certainly didn't want to pay for them. Of course Stephanie's manager had to come over and explain to us why these were necessary and couldn't be removed. Needless to say I left and will not be back.
This is an obvious "bait and switch" policy that the dealership has. Another manager subsequently texted me and offered to take most of the accessories off the price but I declined and purchased the same car from North park without all the accessories. He said in his text that the website ad mentioned the additional cost of accessories but I searched again and cannot find this anywhere. It's hard to believe that people can be so ignorant and/or gullible to fall for this type of dishonest business practice.

I am only leaving a 1 star because I have to. The only reason I am leaving 1 star is because I have to. I would NEVER do business with this dealership. ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE MILITARY!!!! The only thing this dealership does is put people in more of a financial bind. We traded in a vehicle and it’s been almost 60 days, the dealership has yet to pay off the trade-in. We’ve been to the dealership several times to see why the trade-in hasn’t been paid off. After speaking with our lawyer we were advised to request our vehicle back. When we requested our trade-in back from the dealership since we still own it, the dealership told us that they wholesaled the vehicle and no longer have it. Essentially wholesaling a vehicle that ABSOLUTELY does not belong to them since they have yet to pay it off. They also said they can not give out the information as to where the vehicle is. We called Volkswagen to pay the first payment, they have no record of us purchasing the vehicle. Now Automax wants us to make payments to them and they will process the payment for the new car loan. We are still having to make payments on the trade-in because they haven’t paid it off. No one can give us answers or make anything happen. I know several other service members that are in this same situation with this SAME DEALERSHIP. This has been the absolute worst car buying process I’ve ever been through. Automax should be on Fort Hood’s blacklist for sure!
