I usually hate having my car serviced because I never know what maintenance really* needs to be done and what I am being charged for, hidden fees, etc.. I typically leave mechanics feeling scammed. However, this was not my experience at Hiley. This was my first visit to Hiley and Mo Qaddura was my Service Advisor. Not only did Mo keep me updated throughout the maintenance progress of my vehicle, he gave me a thorough understanding of the work that needed to be completed (now and in the future) and showed me the charges broken down so I could easily understand them. I found a car on autotrader and contacted the dealership through the built in autotrader form. Ben Blackwell in sales replied to my email and discussed with me the car I was interested in. We were able to come to an agreeable price and I arranged to come down from Dallas the next day. When I got to the dealership they had already put a note on the car that it was sold which was nice. Ben took me on a short test drive and we got down to the business of buying the car. My bank in IA worked with the dealership all day while I was on the way down and got everything ready so all I had to do was sign a few things and I'd be funded and ready to go. The whole staff at the dealership were helpful and friendly. After getting all the paperwork done, they detailed the car and it was pristine when I left. Too bad I had a 4 hour drive home to get it all filthy again but it was a fun drive in my new car anyway!

After relocating to Austin, my 2016 VW Jetta needed the 30,000 mile service and Hewlett VW was the closest dealership to me. Deceptive Pricing - a form of "Bait and Switch" - Al Peters
Visited this dealership on 10/12/17 based on pricing posted on their web-site showing that the 2017 VW Jetta SE was priced at $15,300 to around $15,500. Upon arrival at their dealership in Frisco, Texas we asked to see these cars at the advertised price and was told that they had them but a dealer add-on known as a "Protection Package" added $1,500 to the price. The package consisted of a) nitrogen in the tires b) protective vinyl around the door edges c) pin stripes and d) window tinting. I then asked for a car without these dealer extras and that I didn't want the $1,500 "Protection Package". We were told that they didn't have any - the "Protection Package" was already installed on all their Jettas.
I went to their web site while I was at the salesmen desk and invoked a chat session asking what the price was on said vehicle and sure enough they responded with $15,500 with no mention of a "Protection Package". I asked the salesmen to go to their website and check their price and sure enough in all caps the text said: FINAL PRICE $15,500. The salesmen then went to the very small print at the bottom of the page where it said they could add stuff besides the use of "FINAL PRICE" $15,500, higher up on the page.
Q. Why do things in very small print? A. Because they don't want you to see it.
I called for a manager whom showed up promptly. I outlined the issue being that their web site and the chat session indicated pricing at $15,500. The Manager informed us that they had to do that to compete because all their competitors do the same thing and many of their customers hated it and the staff hated it but they had no choice. Therefore, since every other dealership is deceptive they have to be deceptive as well. Really, seriously REALLY? I went to Hendricks VW in Frisco, Texas because the price was higher at another VW dealership (Rusty Wallace) but at least they were honest about it.
Remember the old "Bait and Switch" tactic - well it is alive and well at Hendricks VW in Frisco, Texas. Advertise a great price "The Bait" tag on $1,500 "The Switch". Really I don't make this up. Know that I have never write reviews. Hendricks VW in Frisco, Texas cant even get close to justifying this behavior.

Got a very negative experience buying a 2013 Jetta in September. The Jetta is okay but the way they conducted the deal is not okay at all.
Low customer ethics. New management will do what's right for Lewisville VW and not what is right for you as customer.
If you against all odds go anyway as they have something you want.... CAREFULLY watch out for any add-on as so-called "protection package". Fast sales smart talking making you think it’s okay for your own good but it's not. Scam, it's totally worthless and a way for them to make extra $895-$2,000. Make sure they explain exactly the $$ details of the initial sales quote and not only focus on the monthly payment, you get totally blindsided and lured away from the actual charges, insist in getting a copy of the sales quote (as they shady hide it from you after you signed it) and make sure you bring it in to final signing so you know/remember where the deal started from, be patient and CHALLENGE each line.
I have bought five VW's over the years from Lewisville VW, and this deal was a very bad experience. My perception as customer is highly negative. Thought it was like previous years under old management, which I trusted and have never been let down or taking advantage off, but it's not at all near to previous business and customer care standards.

The customer service at this location leaves a lot to be desired. The workers in the service shop are particularly unhelpful. Caused personal property damage (broke back tail light), and gave a faulty report on what was wrong with my vehicle.
Quoted me at needing almost $2,000 in repairs for faulty drainage tubes. I inspected them independently and found that they were clogged and fixed the issue with a grand total of $0. Very shady business. 0/10 would not recommend.

If I could give them a 0 I would! I have paid this year alone over $5000.00 in repairs and the year isn't over yet. They charge you for shop towels and always charge the maximum for Labor. The tell you the diagnostics will be waived if you do the repairs with this dealership. When you look at the summary the diagnostics is listed as Labor ( deceit) I will never buy another VW and I bought 2 of them. Buy American !!! These service advisors are crooks! There used vehicles are trashed!! They brake down so often and there are not many places you can take a VW to be repaired.

We recently purchased a used Passat from Archer VW. The entire process was a giant pain. We were originally quoted a price on July 18, 2017. I looked at the car on July 22. It took until August 2 to complete the paperwork on their end and to complete the purchase of the car. During the paperwork process, the price of the car increased several times with them trying to sneak in different charges and warranties. During negotiation, our salesperson promised to order us a paint touch up pen and mail it to us. After numerous phone calls, emails and stopping by the dealership, it is six weeks later and we still do not have the promised touch up paint. I also had to go to the dealership to pick up the license plates because they did not mail them to us in a timely manner. I would NEVER work with this dealership and especially not the salesperson, Matt Collins, again.
