We went to Charlottesville Colonial Auto Center to sell a vehicle, no trade or purchase, from an estimate from Kelley Blue Book on Sunday 5/3/26. Martin Haggard got in touch with me Monday morning to set up an inspection and discuss a buy price for today. We got there on time and he was ready to negotiate. Everything went better than expected and even got a 45-minute ride back home with Shane. Awesome dealership and awesome Sales and associates. I took my 2003 Ranger in for check engine light and engine miss. After a week I pick up my truck and as soon as I leave the lot the check engine light comes back on. When I take it back they said first thing they ask for is an additional $285. Dollar diagnostic fee which was included in the original $940. Dollars I paid them. They then proceed to tell me it was a different issue from the first time, same problem, check engine light and engine miss They are CROOKS

I had a TERRIFIC experience with Lindsay Volvo. I live in WA state, but the model I wanted was only available on the East Coast. I submitted internet inquiries to several dealerships, and Seamus at Volvo Lindsay got back to me the next morning. I was nervous it would be hard/impossible to lease across the country, but Seamus made it easy and quick. He was super straightforward and honest in his dealings, and had a contract in front of me with zero surprises that same day. Graham was terrific in helping me get signed up with VCSF and helped with paperwork plus some tips about this unusual car, and Markell their manager prepped the car for shipping on their day off since my shipper came by early. After the car arrived here, there was one tiny issue (temporary plates not included) and Graham responded to my email and fixed it on a Sunday! Outstanding job my all involved! By far the best car buying experience in my life and the most trustworthy dealers I've yet dealt with. Could not be happier with everything.

Unfortunately, while waiting, his current car started having issues, and he had to find something else quickly. He ended up needing to cancel his order and get his deposit back. They didn’t even give me what we originally agreed on. It’s excuse after excuse! I am coming into money soon (my mom passed) and I was going to buy a brand new car but I wouldn’t give this place the time of day if they gave me a car for free!

On March 30, 2026 I brought my Chevy Silverado in for - DC

On March 30, 2026 I brought my Chevy Silverado in for service on the infotainment center for the third consecutive time for. It has yet to be corrected. It has been reprogrammed three times and its control module has been replaced and now its scheduled for yet a 4th visit to try again. This no reflection on the service teams professionalism but it does raise question about there technical proficiency. This is very frustrating to have to return yet a 4th time for the exact same issue.
