A few years ago, I had a car I currently drive evaluated for a trade-in. I was offered $7500 on a trade-in. I drove her to Carmax and they offered me a check right then for 13,500. I bought many cars from them all the way back to 1974 and I was not impressed with the way they handled me then. So I still drive the same car.
