This was a fantastic buying experience for my family. The vehicle, a Certified Pre-Owned Toyota, was flawless. I'm an extremely picky buyer - haven owned several vehicles/ brands over the years - this vehicle was as perfect as I could find. I wanted the best for my wife & family, and that's what we got. I thought their prices may have been a tad high, until I realized the vehicles they sold were top shelf only. This place has a reputation for only selling the best, indeed they do! Their salesman David Sullivan was as gracious, competent, and genuinely friendly as anyone could be. Why aren't all sales folks like him? I felt nothing but kind respect. The financial lady was equally wonderful. Hands down the best place to buy a Toyota. If we're ever in the market for another Toyota, this will be be my "go to" choice. I try to lease a Car through them, I had a very rude salesman, very unpleasant and arrogant, his name is Sam Ashkar. first, he had me wait while he was on the phone for more that 15 minutes. He told me after he was talking to his brother on the phone (talking with his brother while his costumer wait ). then when we ask about a good deal for the car I want,he try to give me what ever he want with the price he want. in a very rude and arrogant way. then he told me I can't make that deal just go somewhere else. I went right a way to a different dealer and I got a very nice and pleasant salesman and got the same car that I want with the price that I want and with a very good service. I can't understand how Toyota can hire people like Sam. I would never use him or this dealer again.

Amanda Botto was very courteous and professional when I first contacted Curry, and let me know that the vehicle I had first seen on the website had been sold. She recommended another Highlander that happened to be just right for my needs.
Jose, the Sales Manager, followed up with a call and arranged for my transportation to the dealership from the Bridgeport Ferry to view the car—a 40 minute ride!
At the dealership, the car was detailed and ready when I arrived. I performed a thorough inspection and found the car to have been meticulously prepared.
Amanda led me through a test drive and did a thorough job explaining the vehicle’s features. She is extremely knowledgeable and seems to enjoy her job of helping people find the vehicles they are looking for. She is not listed below, but I would give her 6 stars if I could!
Ben, the finance manager helped guide me through the financials and did not miss a beat. Ben was professional and respectful—he did not try to upsell me into extended warranties or unnecessary contract modifications.
Overall, I’m not sure what else anyone could look for in a car dealership. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone on Long Island that is looking for a Toyota; friends, family, co-workers. Absolutely worth the Ferry Ride!

Car buying should not be stressful or regrettable. Here's my story . I dealt with Syed, salesman, and Sean Wells, sales manager. In February I went to look at new truck. After some time I thought I came to an agreement for the sale and trade-in. NOPE. I went to the dealership after work to sign paperwork. I was told that the price was this amount and trade was this and finance was this amount. I was HAPPY. Then I got there, wife left work early also to accommodate them, had to sign paperwork. Syed had me sign the paperwork as to the amount of the sales price. Also he had me sign the paperwork as he put it was STATE LAW about meeting the Service Manager and touring the service department. I was then sent into the finance office to sign paperwork. I asked the finance amount of the sale. I was told a totally different price then settled upon with Syed. When I asked to see the paper I signed about the price it disappeare, never to be seen. Then Syed crossed his arms and said in a very smug way " I do very very well here and I'll give you the difference to make this deal happen ". Both Syed and Sean threw temper tantrums that would make a three year old in a candy shop told "no" look like a SAINT.
When we arrived it was about 6pm at night in March, finally left about 9 at night. Both Sean and Syed were about 20 feet away when we started to leave. They YELLED turn your lights on. I was never given a walk around the vehicle or an overview of the controls. I could not inspect the car in dim light, nothing was done to it. They knew at 130 that afternoon that I would be picking up the car after 5:00. When I picked it up it was missing the owner manual, floor mats and all the plastic on the seats were still in place. NO DETAIL. I had to wait two weeks to go back and have the car detailed. I informed them that there was a chip in the paint on passenger side door. They said prove that- it was there when you picked it up. I was also bribed by Sean to give all 10s on the review because their bounus depends on my review.
I got a call from the satisfaction manager, Ryan. I recounted the details of my experiences and expressed all of my concerns to him. He seems very honest and genuine. He said that he would pass this all on at the next managers meeting. I called him back three times in a two week period to get no response. The last call I stated I wanted to talk to the owner. This did get a response. Two days later I received a call from Marc, the person claiming to be the owner. Website says John is the owner. This Marc was no better then Syed and Sean. I was put on speakerphone and berated and yelled at by both Marc and Sean. I asked to be taken off speakerphone so I could have a decent one-on-one conversation with the owner. Marc refused and stated that this is the way he conducts all of his business. Marc called me a liar and threw a bigger temper tantrum than the other two. Very poor customer service and professionalism. In short buy in Rhode Island where you have protection with the Dealers Board at the DMV if things like this occur.
What a poorly managed and operated dealership this place is. Be careful and forewarned.
Purchase 2017 Corolla - Mark D.
We just purchased a used 2017 Toyota Corolla from Toyota of Colchester. Salesman Daniel Kort and his manager were very helpful throughout the whole process. They both worked with us to identify the right vehicle and understood at the same time we had a specified budget. Overall, we had a very positive buying experience at this dealership. We plan to service this vehicle and our other older vehicle there in the future.

Ive been a customer for years and always been happy with service until I had to deal with Kevin Fitzgerald. I took my truck in to get frame replaced and it was one thing after another. First Kevin calls to reccomend a few repairs that should be done which I agreed to, he said no problem everything would be done by end o of day. I stop by the next day after dropping off rental and getting shuttle over just for a service employee to tell me my truck wont be ready for a few more days.
When I finally got my truck back I noticed that the shifter was very loose and slipping into neutral. I contacted Kevin and he said to bring it in. When I brought it to Lynch Kevin kept telling me they didnt have to touch this area of the truck and they were not responsible for anything that is occuring. After arguing with this guy he finally agreed to fix it but they would need to take apart the shifter and see what is going on.
After picking up my truck once again the shifter slipage was fixed by now none of yhe geara illuminate. I called kevin again but didnt hear back for over a week from anotherserviced coordinator he pawned the problem on. They said to bring in the truck and they would fix it no problem.
I go in ready to finally get this over with and they say once again that they are not reaponsible and never had to go into that area( which they needed to previously to diagnose problem) and that it isprobobly a light bulb that needs replaced . They could take a look but they would charge me 180 bucks.
It was at this point when I took my truck back and to a trusted mechanic to find out they have caused a lot more damage than just a light bulb.
I would advise anyone having any issues with this place especially with frame replacement to contact Toyota directly and make them aware as well as BBB and consumer reports.

I went into Charles Toyota on 1/7/19 with significant anxiety around purchasing a vehicle. Ray had a laid back approach that immediately made me feel comfortable. Ray allowed me to ask my questions, validated my concerns, steered me in the right direction of finding the car that had the features I desired and that was in my best interest financially. Ray took his time explaining the warranty and walked me through all of the steps he was taking to complete our transaction. This left me feeling confident in my purchase. I highly recommend you request Ray if you are looking for a non-pushy car buying experience.
