I decided to shop for a new vehicle with JP Chevrolet because of the fact that they are a small , local dealership with a long history in this town. I did not feel pressured at all while working with Barry, the sales specialist. He knows these vehicles and assured me that I'd be happy with my purchase, since after all I was going from a Toyota to a Chevrolet. That's quite a move for me! I went with a new Colorado which had a lot of reasons to like! I should note that that there was not a lot of haggling, and the price I received for my vehicle in trade-in was right on with Kelly Blue Book. I'll note too that they have an excellent service department. A few days after getting the truck home, the battery died. I jump started to get to work and called JP. Within 30 minutes they stopped by work and picked up my truck, replaced the bad battery and brought the truck back to me. No problems ever since. Traveling thru the area and 150 miles from my destination (so no prior relationship) and needed help with a Chevrolet diesel deceleration! Called ahead and was told to come on in! The tech and service manager stayed over an hour past closing to help me. I was already bracing myself that I would have to leave the truck and come back. Was fortunate to have family an hour and a half away that came to my rescue just in case. Repairs made! It would be worth buying from them just for the superior customer service in the service dept! So grateful!

If you read my previous reviews you'll see I'm not afraid to blast a dealer when it is due.
In January 2018 I was again in the market for a new truck but still a little hesitant to go back to Bob Bell but not because of the sales department, it was the dreaded service department. I, again place my trust in Joe Evans and again he didn't disappoint. Joe is now a sales manager so he introduced me to salesperson Jason Davis. As I usually do, I arrived at the dealership already knowing what I wanted and what I was going to pay. Within a few hours I was driving my new 2018 Colorado Z71 4X4 midnight edition. But the story doesn't end there.
Six months have past and I was fearing taking the love of my life (my midnight edition) to the service department after my previous experience in 2015. My neighbor who is a GM retiree told me to see Service Rep Yvonne Huhn. I did make the appointment and as described, Yvonne was courteous, professional, energetic and most important to me, KNOWLEDGED in what she was doing and talking about. I know I had a few wear and tear issues after six months of owning my truck and some may need to be paid for by my out-of-pocket. I dropped it off and a free shuttle took me home. Hours later Yvonne called and said that it was a toss up that some of the items should have been paid for by me including tire balancing but out of courtesy the service department would fix it for nothing. If you read my old review and I encourage you to, you'll see I dealt with a team of service associates that truly didn't give a crap about Bob Bell and especially their customers. When I first arrived I immediately noticed a fresh new service facility and most importantly, a new team of caring employees. When I returned to retrieve my truck I again was met by Yvonne who was so friendly but waisted no time telling me what my truck needed and that Bob Bell was absorbing any cost to thank me for buying my new Colorado from them and trusting their service department again.
I can't stress enough how glad I am that Bob Bell fixed those issues and finally took out its old trash.

purchased my vehicle on Saturday and the check engine light came on on monday. I was very nervous bc I had just purchased my vehicle. I called and they transferred me directly to the service manager. He told me to come in the next morning even though I didn't have an appt to take care of the issue asap. I was checked in by a very friendly lady. Im sorry i dont remebet her name or specific title. The problem was fixed and the tech explained the issue and how it was affecting my vehicle. All the staff was very helpful, friendly and efficient.

My wife and myself were treated like family and excellent customer service.
The only thing that was the wait to get to the finance manager (which was not all in their control) but they helped make up for it with their constant communication and hospitality.

Called them they took my # and didn't call back!! They suck never again YOU take my money and leave me hanging!! I had it towed now I guess they need to talk to LAWYERS!!

I own a Camaro which I bought from another dealership. I do not know what the car buying experience is over here, so this is not what I am reviewing. I am reviewing the service and parts department. Where do I start?
I first brought my car here because it is still under warranty and the AC gave out. On the very first day I was told to drop my vehicle for assessment and my complimentary rental would be available in two days. Well 3 days later and no phone call I called and was told they had no rental available. I politely voiced my discontent about them not bothering to call me to update me about the work being done on my car or even about the availability of a rental and suggested I had a mind to call Chevy HQ. Well 30 seconds after the call had ended, a rental became available. I told Chevy HQ about this anyway. I was given a complimentary certificate for accessories by Chevy HQ. My car was returned many days later, with a blue wire sticking out boldly from under the dash.
Stupidly or stubbornly (because I still couldn't believe they were trying to be hostile or not helpful), I went back to have an amplifier and subwoofer kit installed using the Chevy gift certificate. I called them and asked about cost of installation. The first time I was told $174.00. The day I went to order it, I called again before heading out and was told it was $176.00. When I went to the parts counter to finally place my order, and it got to the time to pay, I handed over the certificate...... the man who orders the parts looked at me for 5 condescending and stern seconds before chastising me in a very belittling way for my failure to have shown him the certificate before-hand. He told me he did not know what to do and behaved as if it was impossible for him to proceed. So I apologized to him and then after giving me a second hard look, he left in an audibly angry huff to consult with someone about how to proceed. He came back and his countenance had changed from thunderstorm to sweet spring day; telling me ok, I just needed to hand over my certificate and when the part came in, he would call me. Well two weeks later, I called and he began by stating he had spoken to me. I had to sternly tell him, he had not. The truth is I have no record, digital or otherwise of his call. After he confirmed my part was there, I asked him about cost of installation and he transferred me to the service department. There the man seemed puzzled that I had ordered a subwoofer, asked why I had done so and seemed perplexed that their business sold parts such as subwoofers. After leaving me in a near puzzlement myself, he then asked what I needed and I responded stating; the estimate for installation. He now told me $299.00 WOW!
I am so frustrated with this business and their service men. I feel as if they are trying to be confusing. I don't know if its my womanhood, or my minority status or both, that is making them feel they can toss me around. I feel like there is a concerted effort to irritate me away from their business. I feel as if they have no regard for me, either as a customer or a human being actually. I am not going to continue to give myself anxiety over how they will present to me when I approach them. I am a soft spoken mild mannered woman, but I know where to carry my complaints when I have them. For now, these guys cannot help, but I will complain to every available source that I can, about their business.

New 80k dollar truck they destroyed at the service department. Changed my oil then it leaked out while driving on Highway with dump trailer on back. Multiple attempts to fix over heating, couple of times to fix recalls.there's kids new to the mechanic field working on your vehicle.Go there at your own risk

I came in for a oil change and was helped by Jenese. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. She explained services that were recommended but when I checked my GM handbook for my recommendations none of the stuff was there. I asked the advisor why she recommend things for my car that GM does not require and she was honest and explained that are are purely preventive maintenance items offered by autonation. While I appreciate her honesty I still do not understand why at 88.000 miles I need a alignment my brake fluid flushed fuel system service transmission flush and some kind of oil additive. GM doesn’t even recommend changing spark plugs until 100,000. But that’s not the worse part while there I encountered and overheard a heated conversation between some of the employees. I learned later that the other lady advisor Nia who has a very foul mouth and bad attitude problem was yelling at a light skinned gentleman. She cursed him out so bad and loud that I heard it I. The waiting room. I went to check and see if everything was alright just to find the service manager Derek Kline standing right there saying nothing at all. Can you believe he did nothing and this isn’t the first time this has happened. This place is childish. When talking to the manager about this he seem to dismiss my concerns. Not only did that leave a bad taste in my mouth about these guys but the technician left the old oil in my car and put new oil in. My car began to act funny when I drove it so I had my husband look at it and he drained three big containers of oil out the car and the car was still full of oil. I took my car back the next day and Jenese came right out and helped me. She later confirmed my suspicions and had my car cleaned also. Although Jenese was great I will never take my car back there. I’ve never been to a place where the manager looks you in your face smiles and tells you that the technician couldn’t have done that.

Ok so this is my second time going to this dealership to buy a car.The car I wanted cost $7,345 I was going to trade in my camaro that I still owe $12,343 but they was going to buy my car for $10k and said I would be upside down and I said ok I have $3,000 I can put down that would of taking care of the upside down problem and mind you my credit score is 750.So how in the xxxx you blow a deal like that lol I could of put down $5k...….. but no the manager wanted to put me in a car that cost $17k now why would I want to put myself in more dept lol crazy... and I heard him to the salesmen phillip " so what if he walk out " loud and clear ……on the good side my score only went down 2 points ……...never in life would I ever go back and Never will recommend anyone.....

I purchased a used 2010 f150 lariat 4x4 in February of 2017, the dealership said this was a awesome truck everything was inspected top to bottom, ok awesome I bought the truck now 14k miles later I'm broken down on the side of the road, and of course my warranty is gone. So i called the dealership and told them, They told to kick rocks! Your warranty is gone so we can't do nothing for you, they told me they can recommend someone, and they laughed, so I have made 3 payments on the truck and have many more to come and this what I get! I will never ever recommend this dealership to No One I will tell them to stay clear of these people they will get you for your money and you will be dead to them, they don't care, you sell crap You get crap results. xxxx you hertirch chevy of Easton, maryland, poor service! keep doing the work ripping people off! This dealership doesn't deserve a half a star nor should it be a outlined star. You deserve nothing , the only reason you got star was so I could submit this, it wouldn't allow to submit if I didn't give a star for the service, this dealership doesn't deserve a star!
