I have been leasing my cars through Joe Urso for several years now going back to when he worked at Smithtown Nissan. When I heard he moved to Hyundai of 110, I knew my next lease would be a Hyundai Sonata Limited. As always, Joe gave me an excellent price which no one else could match. Joe had salesman Sean Roulo assist me with this lease. Sean was an A+ salesman who was very knowledgable and made the whole process smooth and easy. The assistant manager, Colby was great! It had no plates on it but he came out and met us at my son 's house to evaluate the car before we took it to into the dealeship. He went the extra mile on taking care of us for sure!!!
Our car was older with low miles and some front hood damage so they had to send it to auction, but he still bought it from us and was a huge help to us!! Since DMV in NY is by appointment we couldn't register it and bring it home. We only had one day to get done. Colby got us set up and out in 3 hours we had a check cut in time to take it to the bank before closing.
If that's how they treat people who are not making them a profit, I can only imagine how well they treat new car buyers!!!

Sorry to say, I will not recommend this dealership for service. After having purchased six vehicles from them over 22 years and having every vehicle serviced at Huntington Hyundai, they will not replace two rims on my 2019 Santa Fe Ultimate 2.0T that began peeling because of a defect in the preparation of the coating on the rims. The dealer did replace the first two rims when it happened, but they would not replace the remaining two rims when the problem occurred on them. They blamed it on car washes, road salt, etc. That is not the reason they started peeling; it is Hyundai's fault. Why did they agree to replace the original two rims, if it was not caused by a defect from Hyundai's clear coat application process? Now, all of a sudden, they don't think the remaining two rims are defective due to Hyundai??? Our friend in Florida, who owns the exact same car and has the same rims, has also experienced this problem. How can you deny it is a defect in workmanship! In 2020 my husband bought a new Santa Fe Limited, but his mags are different; Hyundai must've stopped using the rims on my car, due to complaints from customers. Sending a certified letter to Hyundai Motors of America resulted in no reply. Other Hyundai owners across the USA have experienced peeling of the black coating on their rims. Customers should not be held liable for something that is defective.

Riverhead Nissan is fair at best. All of the positive reviews are people with brand new cars with factory warranties. Or people who had a nail in their tire. Literally that is all that I’ve read. It’s the people with cars that aren’t that old but needs repair. That’s when a dealership shows their colors. I have an extended warranty brought it in for a steering issue after hitting a pot hole and my muffler cracked off at the welds. Nissan told the Warrenty company that it was damaged from rust. Which voids the Warrenty. They wanted somewhere around the 4 thousands to fix. Yeah sucks but whatever. I said fix the steering issue which is covered (not really covered, they charged me 175$ diagnostics fee, which my Warrenty company said they would pay for but they charged me instead) I pick up the truck (was at the dealership for 10 days. Said it would be finished a lot sooner, it wasn’t…but again whatever I get it..covid..covid…covid. I pick it up and it’s literally worse than when I brought it in. They replaced a tie rod. They said the front right tire had a belt shifted in it. You think they would of swapped tires so I can drive it home safely. You think they would go the extra mile for a customer. You think they would of told the Warrenty company the truth so work can get done and paid for. But they didn’t. They talk to you like they’re robots. I literally never write reviews. In fact I hate when people write reviews for every little thing. I work around the public like these people do. I don’t know. I just feel like once they realized I didn’t want the work done cause the Warrenty company wasn’t willing to pay. I got treated differently

Leased vehicle at the end of March 2021, a 21 genesis g70. Two months into my lease I begin hearing a rattling noise coming from the sunvisor sunroof area. 7/14, 7/20, 8/14 & again 8/21 for the same rattling noise that at this point genesis Corp is involved and my car is not being worked on because warranty work is only paid out to a dealership once unless approved by corporate. Advantage Hyundai is in possession of my vehicle as I have a loaner car. Corporate says they are a high line car, they don’t act as such. Not really working with the customer (me) working within perimeters to get corporate down to see my car, receiving excuses, the typical runaround. All I want is the rattling noise to be fixed correctly.

I bought my car on June 5 2021. It is a 2022 hyundai tucson. Till today the car is with them for 3 times. Problems with the car are steering issue, plastic trim in the trunk. So, they tried fixing the steering problem but couldnt fix it and ordered the plastic trim for trunk on the first visit. Gave a appointment on august 13th and returned on the same day with no issues fixed as well as now they broke the button with which the seat opens. So, had to go back on monday which is august 16th and asked them to fix both steering problem as well as the plastic trim on trunk. Waited for 4 hours and they said it cannot be done today take the loaner car.
It has been a week and no one even started looking into the issue as well as I called them every day to check the status but no response.
Everyday they say they will call me back but I never received a call letting me know what is the status of the repair.
