Not been impressed with the new management. It's been very lacking since they changed. I keep hearing they are getting used to th new system, but it's been at least three months now. Discrepancy with their service department and the websites as far as pricing. New prices are higher than before. Car sits for at least 10-15 minutes before paperwork done. Scheduled service online, was not in their system. Had daughter on another instance wait in waiting room for an additional hour when her car was already done prior.

When I inquired about a certain vehicle I was bombarded by a number of emails from different individuals trying to get me to schedule an appointment. The car was already sold and while I appreciate the enthusiasm I don’t appreciate the “nagging” aspect of the people. I know what I am looking for and if you do t have it please let me move on easily.

Scammers and thieves.My mother was sold a 2018 Chevy... - Tnedjchriscrod2609
Scammers and thieves.
My mother was sold a 2018 Chevy Trax by sales manager Alberto Soto for $22,000 (price includes taxes and fees). She paid in cash on the spot and drove the car off the lot that day.
While we waited for the title to be mailed to us, a process that she was informed of was set in motion at the time of purchase, we discovered that the vehicle has 2 safety recalls which she was not informed of prior to her giving cash to these people and the actual value of the car is 10,000 less than what she paid for.
Today I, her son, spoke to Albert Soto and informed him of this stating that we do not want the vehicle and since the contract was not fully consummated because we have yet to recieve the title and we paid directly with cash all before the dealer plates expired today Aug 31, 2021 the car should be taken back and the cash value should either be reimbursed or applied directly towards another car.
He refused saying that it's a done deal and then became condescending stating I was a spoiled kid who doesn't know what I'm talking about and that I should have the signer, my mom, present to even discuss this with me. Stop wasting his time, he told me.
So, I call her in and my father as well.
Upon waiting and while Soto continues to insult me for bothering him with this issue, my father discovers that the title is not even in Texas but in fact in New Mexico. This was after Mission Chevrolet and the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles contacted Casa KIA asking them where the title to this vehicle was.
When my mom and dad finally arrive, Alberto claims that we have no right or merit behind our complaint and the title will get to us whenever it does because of delays due to Covid19. We then ask for a copy of the receipt stating that the title was indeed actually on its way to which he dissappears for a good 20 minutes and returns with a document that he himself assures 3 times that it's the receipt we requested and the one we never received upon purchase of the vehicle.
He then has the audacity to use his veteran status as a means to condescend both myself again and now my mother and calls me a spoiled kid who has no right to stand up against my mom being actively fleeced right before our eyes and that my mother is ignorant to realities that only a War can give wisdom on.
The cherry on top was we went immediately afterwards down the street to Mission Chevrolet, present the document Alberto Soto gave to us not 15 minutes earlier, and were told that it actually wasn't the receipt for the title at all and that the financing department just sent the order for the title to be mailed at that moment when we left Casa KIA!
They stole our money, sold us a lemon, insulted us, misused and disrespected the US military's honor, and lied point blank to our faces knowing that after today they would no longer be truly liable for the vehicle because the dealer plates would expire. The contract is not even valid because it was filled on a form that clearly states "for credit use only" when we paid in cash and it states clearly on the document that its not valid until all documents are given to the respective parties involved ie the title. And then to discover that the document we required was not what it was after being sworn by this sales manager who backed his honor by the United States Armed Services is just despicable and disgusting.
By the way, the great thing about technology being readily available in our pockets is that one can record an entire conversation at the drop of a hat. I recorded the talk we had with Alberto so I can assure those concerned that my review is backed by evidence and I can also ensure Alberto Soto and Casa KIA are going to put their money where mouths are when they are going to be interviewed by the media and definitely when we see them in court.
Home of the Nice Guys, right? Stay tuned.
This dealership embodies all of the characteristics of a... - Svallery
This dealership embodies all of the characteristics of a stereotypical deceptive car salesman. My salesman was very responsive while texting as I was out of state shopping for a car. While texting for a few days about a Sorento, I asked for "the selling price of the Sorento" and "any add-ons besides the tax, title and license". My salesman responded, "the price of the Sorento is on my website $36,410". After traveling to the dealership from out of state, when the sales paperwork was presented, there was a $2595.00 Cowboy Kia Protection Plan - I call this lying by omission. After telling him that I would not pay for that, he said he would have it removed. When he returned with the amended paperwork, the Protection Plan had been removed but the MSRP had gone up $2000.00 and he ran the numbers with a 4.25% APR while Kia offers a 1.9% APR on their website calculator. All he did was shift the numbers around so that the dealership would get the $2595.00 one way or another. I left without a car and will never go back.

I had an amazing experience with John Criste with Huffines Kia. He was helpful, answered all my questions, had great follow up, and spent time with me helping me learn all the features on my new Kia Carnival. When so many dealerships are overcharging for vehicles, I was so impressed that they didn’t try to make me pay above MSRP for my Carnival even with it being a very high in-demand car. I loved the dealership experience and I would absolutely work with John and this dealership again. Also, I LOVE my 2022 Carnival!
Everybody there is nice and there are smiles everywhere.... - Sad Dad
Everybody there is nice and there are smiles everywhere. After we haggled a little and got ready to sign they added $2000 for windshield etching and 2 free oil changes for a year. I declined the offer but they said it was mandatory. I got up to leave but my son, who had been waiting for months for his car to finally come in, was heart broken. He actually told me let's just pay it I'm tired. I refused but he wore me down. I know for a fact this is a scam, I've seen all the videos about it. But in this case I felt my hands were tied because it was my son's purchase. I told him DON'T DO IT, He bought it anyway.

Wow, I can't believe the DISHONEST SALES STAFF and SALES... - swilliamszo998
Wow, I can't believe the DISHONEST SALES STAFF and SALES MANAGER working at this dealership! I had a ridiculously bad experience at this dealership. The price we agreed upon is not what was presented once I finally got an opportunity to see an itemized buyers order. Here's how things transpired. The sales price offered was $16,001, but with TT&L and the "Gay Family VIP" package the total came out to $18,865. The VIP package is an additional $995 for your typical dealer fluff/padding/addons (i.e., tint that wasn't installed yet, clear coat, nitrogen in the tires, a couple of oil changes, and a few other meaningless items), none of which I couldn't utilize because I live an hour and a half away and wanted to take the car home that evening. When I countered that I'm not paying for the VIP package and to take it off, the salesman went to "ask the manager what he could do." (Note: The only people in the entire dealership at this point in time were the salesman, sales manager, my son, and me. So, the whole back and forth of asking the manager seemed a bit silly in itself). When he came back, he said that the manager would take off $531 of the total. I countered that I wanted to whole $995 taken off and it was a deal breaker if it wasn't. He went back to the manager again to ask about taking the entire VIP off, and after while he came back and said the sales manager said OK. He drew an "X" over the VIP and then a line for me to initial (see both in blue ink on the attached photo). It's at that point that I asked to see an itemized list of the charges and was told that the finance guy will have it. When I got over the finance guy and finally saw a buyer’s order, I noticed that the VIP package was still included in the total. When I said that it was supposed be taken out, he called the manager who said that it should still be included. I walked back over to the manager's office and asked him if he was going to honor the price that was quoted to me. After quite a bit of back and forth, essentially his response was "You signed a piece of paper with an out the door cost of $18,334, so that's what you agreed to." Well, no, sir, I agreed to the $16,001 plus TT&L that your salesman and I sat there agreed upon after he asked you for the OK. I'm not really sure how there could have been any confusion about the deal, since I was the ONLY customer in the entire dealership. In any event, as mad as I was at their dishonesty, as a last-ditch effort I tried to make one final offer to close the deal and move on, because my son actually really wanted the car. I said that I'd give him $200 of the VIP, to which he said no. The end result of all of this: I'll NEVER do business at any Gay Family dealership and I highly recommend to anyone considering doing so to be very weary of their sleazy and dishonest sales tactics.
Do Not Buy a car from this dealership, I have had nothing... - fondalyn24
Do Not Buy a car from this dealership, I have had nothing but problems from the start of buying my car and using their service department, it is a fight to get my car returned to me at work after they stated they would, today I dropped my car off there to get serviced because I bought the maintenance plan, I got a call at 11:00 that they would drop my car off at 2:00, I called and Ginger answered the phone she was very rude and stated I don't know if you care or not but the service department is very busy, the service manager is out due to his wife having a baby and then another staff member was out due to being sick. I had to leave work, which I work in a clinic to go pick up my car when all they had to do this morning when I dropped it off was tell me what was going on and I would not have left my car. You might read all these good reviews but I'm warning you they have horrible customer service, I should have never bought my car from them, I planned on going to Dallas and now I wished that I would have and the I have had the problem with the service department every time when it was time to return my car. Ginger is beyond rude and needs to be fired. I will be contacting the owner because I've talked to the GM and he does not care about his customers at all or at least he did not care about my complaint after buying the car. Beware of this dealership
