I recently purchased a '25 Tiguan SEL. I started the process at the end of April, and the car officially released in the US at the end of May. I was referred to Gus (Mikedis) by a friend, and he has helped me throughout the entire process. There was never a sense of urgency, and Gus remained professional during the entire process. He kept me updated real-time and gave me heads-up on what to prepare for in the future. Prior to this purchase, I've despised working with car salesmen (due to the stereotypes that exist within that industry), but this has definitely shed some new, positive light on the entire experience.

Recently completed the 20k service on my Atlas. Once again, the service team and technicians performed flawlessly. Kenny estimated 90 minutes to perform the 20k and the few items I requested, and the techs had me out in about 75. Shannon completed my paperwork and had me on my way. It was quite cold - single diigits or low teens in the morning, Remote start wouldn;t work and I got a low coolant message when I started it when the temp was below 12F Called Romeo and was told to stop by for them to check it and top it off. I didn't have an appointment so we had to wait a little, but they checked it out and topped off the coolant at no charge, Everyone was friendly and helpful, AND they have excellent coffee and snacks. They save me a lot of anxiety, and I am very grateful for the service. Nice to run into a dealer that has old-style values and treats even new (and not lucrative) customers so well, Thank you

Very valuable Volkswagen repair service car owners I have a 2021 VW ID4 electric car. I bought it with 2500 miles on it and I took the car to the service more than six times. The car's electric motor was not making any noise at 56th Street Brooklyn. They replaced a part for $1600. We said okay, okay. A few days later another light came on. I went to Brooklyn Volkswagen again and they checked and said there was a small battery in the electric car. They said it was not working and replaced it three days later, the same light. The electric system was not working. It came on again at Brooklyn Volkswagen. I brought it in and they ran diagnostics, this time it was a high power battery. They said my car had 45,000 miles and they said they couldn't do it for me. They said they didn't have an electrical engineer and told me to go to Bayridge Volkswagen. I went and bought a Radovi first and went 10 days later. They said they couldn't do it for me and said to go to Long Island Platinum Volkswagen. I called and made an appointment and went two weeks later. Okay, they looked at it and made a check and then charged me $259.00. I asked why they weren't changing the batteries. They told me my car had a TLC plate, but the warranty was 50,000 miles. That's how many TLC plate cars have. Did you see the miles on the car? Why didn't you tell me? Platinum Volkswagen lied. But why did you say 100,000 miles when you bought the warranty? You say 8 years. I bought the warranty and paid $2600.00 extra. Is this possible? Why didn't you tell me? I said I would put a TLC plate when I bought the car. Brooklyn Volkswagen is hostile to me here. Since you don't understand, why did you change the small batteries in the electric car? They made me waste my time. Bayridge Volkswagen spoke honestly. The name was edi. A nice mechanic will help me now. I'm looking for a lawyer from Volkswagen USA. Thanks for making a secret. Red flags everywhere. This is why people buy from CarMax. Fees: They advertise as a no fee dealer, which is completely inaccurate. I was informed over the phone of a $175 dealer. I saw negative reviews about hidden Lojack fees, which I asked about. The "manager" acted like he didn't know what Lojack was, and said there would be no such thing. I then get the price quote and it had the $175 dealer doc fee, a $1,495 Lojack fee, and $513 in other fees. I asked for an explanation on the latter two fees and never got a response. Vehicle Condition: The online photo was manipulated to make damage far less visible. I asked twice if there was any cosmetic damage I should know about, and was told no. Not until asking a 3rd time was I informed that the passenger side had been side swiped and never repaired. The door needs sheet metal work and the paint will be significant enough to require blending across the side panels. Comparing the iphone photo of the damage to the website photo, the photo editing is apparent. They then stopped answering my questions when asking about the damage. Communication: Very poor. Lack of follow up and lack of enthusiasm for the customer and the business. When a buyer has to force communication to discuss a vehicle, your dealership culture is broken. Overall: Classic dealership behavior that has plagued the industry for years. No hustle. No integrity displayed in any interaction.

Simply stated, I believe they seriously tried to rip me off. First, they tried to charge me $600 for a 30,000 mile service even though I had pre-paid for it when I first leased the car from them. When I made the appointment, they correctly told me that their records showed I had already paid for the service and that there would be no charge. However, when I went to pick the car up, they insisted that they had no record of my prepayment and made me pay $600 for the servicing. Then I found the original receipt at home and sent it to them. They took around 3-4 weeks to "process the refund." Additionally, when I picked the car up, they told me that the technician said that the car needed a brake job for a cost of $1,600. I declined and the next time I brought the car to my local mechanic, several thousand miles later, he told me that the brakes weren't even close to needing a brake job and had at least 25,000 miles left on them. So, the long and the short of it is that they wrongly tried to get $2,200 out of me in a single visit. Obviously, I never went back.
