Nate Wolfer is a great salesperson. - mdspraggins
Nate Wolfer is a great salesperson. Nate and I communicated from mid-September until the purchase was finalized. My purchase was out of state (700 miles), so I relied heavily on the information and videos Nate provided. Whatever I asked Nate for, within his power, he made it happen. We talked so much we almost got to the point where we were telling each other Good Morning and Good Night lol. My one recommendation for Nate is to keep that same energy until all transactions are completed. I had my vehicle shipped, but after the check cleared, I had to check in with Nate for shipment updates, and I think he could have done a better job keeping me informed. Regarding the shipment, I had no communication with the driver until he arrived at my doorstep unannounced, which made me very uneasy, but that is out of Nate’s control. This is my first experience buying a new vehicle, and I did not physically see it before purchasing, but Nate made it as smooth as possible.
Now I want to discuss things outside of Nate’s control. The window sticker identified my vehicle as having night vision, which is included with the Executive Second Row Package (ESRP), but my vehicle does not. I think the sticker price for the ESPR may have reflected that, but not sure. I still haven’t figured out what is going on. Maybe when the GM replies to this review, she/he can let me know.
The vehicle came with about $1000.00 of add-on accessories I didn't want, but after Nate discussed it with his Manager, Logan, Logan said that since it was included in the sticker price, they don’t have to put them on but can place them inside the vehicle. However, the vehicle wasn’t purchased before the accessories were added. After purchasing the vehicle, I asked Nate if the roof rails could be removed; he said he asked, and they said it would be $500.00 to remove them. I asked Nate if the $200.00 mobile service could be removed, since my local GMC dealership doesn’t offer that, and he was told no. I asked Nate if, since I was spending $1200.00 on accessories that I didn’t want and the dealership would never have to service the vehicle again—saving an unknown amount of money in mechanic labor and mobile-service costs—they could include all-weather floor mats or tint the front windows. They offered to split the $500.00 window-tinting cost with me. I checked locally, and they charge $100.00; I wonder why it's so much at Oakes. I understand that it’s outsourced, but that’s a big price gap.
Oh, I don’t want to forget about Sage; he handles a lot of the paperwork. Sage was nice, too. He is good at his job. Sage and I have similar interests, so it was nice to speak with him.
If all the salespeople are like Nate, this place can’t help but be outstanding.
GM, when you read this review, let’s promote Nate to Logan’s position.
