Tyreese Smith was very helpful and knowledgeable to be so new! I changed my mind so many times and he didn't get frustrated. He stayed respectful and patient. He knew I really wanted white for the Hyundai I was purchasing and he made sure I got it! He went over the key features of the car. All in all, he was very accommodating. And the finance guy Randy got me a lower rate than what I thought I was going to have, which of course means lower payments, so yeah, that was a win! And he was pretty quick.

I took my vehicle to Rogers Auto Group in Chicago, IL because the screen for the back-up camera was glitching. The radio otherwise worked fine. When I retrieved my car, they said there are no parts to fix the screen because they are backordered. After I left, I discovered the screen was now black and the radio would not come on. I returned to the service department only to be told it was "broken when you brought it in" and there is nothing they could do. They refused to accept responsibility for returning my vehicle worse than when I brought it in. Despite showing a video captured today displaying the problem (but also distinct in the video is a functioning screen) prior to dropping off the car, they dismissed me without help. I also asked them if the vehicle was safe to drive in this condition and they said "of course", despite the fact that backing up without this camera may be dangerous. The service director then got involved, and he was very dismissive and patronizing.

I visited the store today for the very 1st time to purchase a new 2021 Sonata N type. I had scheduled an appointment online and received a phone call while I was enroute to the dealership. I explained to the representative which car I was coming to drive and asked to have it available available when I got there. This was 945 on Labor Day morning and the store was fairly empty. Once I arrived, the vehicle was buried behind another one and I had a short wait until I was able to take a test drive. So much for making an appointment. Once into the test drive, I really liked the vehicle and and I explained to my salesman that I was prepared to buy it based on the lease figure from the manufacturer including current rebates etc. I was informed the dealership tacked on an additional $2995 in "protection coverage" . I explained that I was not going to be purchasing that because the vehicle is only being leased for 3 years. This is being figured with $5000 cash down and I have an excellent credit rating. I presented a print out from Hyundai of the lease rate. The salesman came back with a price that was $210 more per month than quoted by Hyundai, equating to a Increase in $7200 to lease the vehicle. Mind you they have had this car in stock since the Winter as there were photographs on their website of the car in snow and covered in it. Obviously it wasn't in high demand. Now I understand why. The dealership was making money on the vehicle because It was being sold at MSRP. The incentives are coming from the factory so it was not cutting into profit for the dealership. Apparently greed is what drives this dealership, so under no circumstances would recommend doing business with Not so Happy Hyundai whatsoever. It was a total wasted trip for me. Buyer beware.

Allow me to share with you how hysterically obvious it is that this place has ZERO integrity at all and just wants absolutely every dollar they can get from you without actually caring for their customers. My wife and I just married and our car got totaled in a hit & run accident on our honeymoon. We head into this place and meet a sweet lady named Nidia and tell her the car we want to buy. We expressed interest in the car, but needed a day to consider and wanted to head out. Immediately, she runs to her boss without a word and he comes and says, “Can I help you?” and pressures us. By the way, BEWARE OF THE GUY WITH THE HAIR GEL AND ITALIAN ACCENT. We are confused, say no, and leave. We came back after looking at other cars and liked their car. We meet up with Nidia again, and sit down to talk pricing. All of a sudden, the car goes from $17995 to over $31000... a clear sign something is wrong. We not only saw that they did basic math wrong in a hasty effort to rip us off, but they have these ridiculous fees for documentation and third-party warranties (beware of these in your car search also). They just made up a number... After pointing out that 31k doesn’t work, Nidia immediately goes to her boss and he lowers it to only $26k... still ridiculous, but at least they got the math right this time. By then we saw too much of their carelessness and left in the middle of the deal. We desperately beg you ...DO NOT GO HERE. They will squeeze you in the dealing, and ESPECIALLY in your financing. Integrity matters, don’t be foolish with your money or it will leave you. I also look forward to how the management team is going to “help us however they can” by replying to this review just to save their terrible reputation.

We have had a terrible experience with this dealership. Our car engine broke down in April on our way through Chicago. It’s been at the dealership since. They told us the engine was fixed so we flew down to Chicago (we live in Minneapolis) to pick up the car. We get in the car and try and pull away and the car hardly makes it out of the parking spot. They told us Hyundai sent them faulty engine and it would be another few months. We FINALLY receive the call that our car is getting towed to MN. They drop it AT THE WRONG DEALERSHIP that’s not even a Hyundai dealership. This is the worst customer experience we have ever received. Not only did it take multiple weeks to hear but, but they were not concerned at all with getting our car back. It’s complete unacceptable.
