We bought a used 2018 Atlas from Volkswagen of New Port Richey back in May of 2019. After discovering a major leak from the sunroof and brought the car back in to be addressed. The service department was kind courteous and informative. Unfortunately that was not the end of our issues with the sunroof. We discovered another leak that was as bad as the first. My husband called and we brought the car in, we ended up working with the sales department, Mark and Andrew who sold us the original 2018 Atlas. They worked diligently to get us into a new Atlas that fit our needs and didn’t cost us anything out of packet. We couldn’t be happier with customer care we received, and we felt that we were cared for at Volkswagen of New Port Richey! We would highly recommend this dealer to anyone interested in buying a car!

From a customer perspective it was good to find an offer to diagnose an electrical problem with a max cost limit. This got me in the dealer with the possibility of spending more money on repairs. His service was so great 8 years ago when he helped me pick out the perfect Jetta that I had to go back last weekend for his help again. He spent a whole lot of time showing me different options until we finally found the perfect car for me. I really could not have done it without him. He understood my needs and really did a great job at making sure every aspect was covered. Car failed to start while visiting Grayton Beach from Pennsylvania. After finally getting it started we phoned and then drove to nearest Subaru dealer. Jeff from service was incredibly helpful. He was able to look at the car when we arrived, have a diagnostic run to make sure the issue was properly diagnosed and had the battery quickly replaced.

My daughter’s lease was up on her Hyundai so I flew in from Pittsburgh to help look for a new car. After looking at several places, I mentioned looking at a Subaru. I knew they were one of the safest cars out there but she didn’t think she could afford one. We stopped at Bert Smith Subaru anyway just to see. She took a Legacy for a test drive and loved it. It was more solid feeling and smooth to drive. I liked the Eyesight technology. Our sales person (Stacy) was great in working within our budget and offered no pressure to buy. We got the deal we wanted and a safe car. We would definitely buy from Bert Smith Subaru again.

Before going to the dealership I called to see if they had what I wanted...a new car, a certain color scheme. with very few other specifics.
When I arrived, they put me into a four year old car with 40K miles on it without disclosing the swap out. It was clean, but not what I had asked to see.
When I placed an order for a new vehicle instead, I was told they found me exactly what I wanted, and I trusted that the few specifics I ordered were included. Color scheme, brand new, and real Leather seats. I authorized the down payment by phone, and agreed to make the purchase without quibbling over their price. The day before I was supposed to bring the vehicle home, I pointedly asked about the seating to make sure it was real genuine leather. It was at that point that I was told it was synthetic. Really? Don't they listen? Sales said they made a mistake. I suggested they swap out the synthetic seats for genuine leather. This is done upon request at other dealerships. And since I had been told they had the exact car I wanted when I agreed to their price, they should have made their mistake right by me. The sales team asked me to come in to see how nice their synthetics are. No thanks. I ordered Leather. I was asked if they could have the boss call me about this mistake, and since I am so disenchanted with this bait 'n switch, I asked not to have him calling while I am preoccupied with more important issues today. Instead of honoring my reply, the manager decided to call and leave a one sided dissertation on my voiceail about why it was done. No apology. No corrective measure.
At this point I do not feel respected or appreciated as a premium patron. I have had great customer service in my life. This is not it. This experience reads like a primer of "What Not To Do To A New Car Buyer At Your Dealership" . Sorry, no sale.

After three years working with VW I still can not speak highly enough of this dealership! From the minute you drive up you are welcomed like friends and family. If you call, they do their very best to solve your problem as quickly and conveniently as possible. Mostly I am updating this review to give a shout out to the service department. Over the last few years, I have worked multiple times with David on everything from the diesel fix, to oil changes, to problem-solving small little issues, to quick car washes, to full detailing. He goes above and beyond to take care of me, and all his customers, and has always made sure my car is taken care of as if it was his own. He ensures my safety and satisfaction in all aspects and makes working with VW of St. Aug a pleasure! Also, shout out to James in the service department who always makes my car sparkle and has helped David diagnose mysterious issues as well. They make such a great team here. I love my VW and I am not even a motorhead lol can't recommend this place enough!!

Cant do "0" So VW Brandon offers an oil change for $49.99 BUT that's for select vehicles. You click the view details for the specific vehicles that qualify for the discounted oil change. No cars are listed no years are listed so they want you to assume that you know this already. 2018 GTI 10K oil change $100 .... HA! So I ask them to look at their own website to view what they have posted on there... They refused to see what I was talking about because they know it only applies to select cars not the new models.... Well please tell me what models this coupon applies to ... they kept telling it doesn't apply to my car... I strongly do not recommend this deanship for service! This is my second time having issues with this place and I will never bring any of my cars back to this xxxx hole.... Austin, Carols & Dick I will do whatever it takes to make sure you dont get customers in there for service
