I purchased a used 2020 Hyundai Tuscon on Saturday 9/13/25. Within 24 hours, the check engine light came on and there was a piece hanging under the front of the vehicle that was dragging on the ground when I drove. I notified the dealership, and they told me to bring it in on Monday 9/15 so they could examine the vehicle. I brought it in, and the service team "cleared the codes" but failed to repair the piece that was hanging. I called back and they asked me to bring it in the next day to have it repaired. They even stated that I wouldn't need an appt. I arrived at the dealership at 1:30pm and sat there for over 3 hours because the technician and the service manager "forgot about me". I had to arrange for someone else to pick up my daughter from practice and I missed a whole afternoon of work because I was FORGOTTEN. Within 48 hours, the check engine light came BACK ON! I called again and notified the sales manager and was told to bring it up there in Friday afternoon at 1:00pm. I sat for another 1.5 hours just for them to tell me it was the catalytic converter and that they could not fix it, I had to go to Langdale Hyundai. I was told Hyundai knew I was coming and that the repairs should be covered under warranty. I arrived at Langdale Hyundai just to find out NO ONE called them to let them know I was coming. They could not repair the vehicle that day as it was already too late in the afternoon. So, I scheduled an appt for Monday 9/22 at 1:30pm. When I arrived for my appt, they had not heard back from Allstate regarding the warranty, so it had to be rescheduled AGAIN to this Friday 9/26. On Wednesday 9/24, my vehicle began making a horrible sound as if I was driving a motorcycle. So here we are less than 2 weeks having purchased this vehicle and I have had to go back to the dealership SIX TIMES and my vehicle has had 3 issues! This is the worst service and car buying experience I have EVER HAD! If I wanted a vehicle that had mechanical issues, I would have kept my previous vehicle. I picked this car to have reliable transportation for me and my family. I will NEVER buy a car from a Langdale dealership again. If I could get out of this contract I would!
