I continue to bring my vehicles to Hawk Ford because of the people in their service departments — and that includes the commercial side, which deserves more recognition than it gets. Steve has been outstanding handling my gas vehicles over the years, including my motorhome with the V10. His consistency, communication, and attention to detail are a big reason I’ve trusted Hawk with multiple vehicles. On the diesel side, Kathleen in the Commercial/Diesel Service department has been just as impressive. Most recently, I brought my F-350 in for an oil change before a long trip, and once again, she made the process easy and efficient. She’s responsive, organized, and makes sure things get done right without any hassle. The only frustration I have is that the Commercial Service department still doesn’t seem to get properly recognized in these reviews. They absolutely deserve it. I give the team 5 stars all day long — but I hope the folks reading these reviews take the time to actually hear what customers are saying, not just count stars.

Only issue as one of the items I was told was fixed started acting up the day after I got it back. next time I take it in will be the third time requesting a repair. Hopefully they understand this time and not charge me again for a follow up call.

I took my car to them because I had become very disenchanted with my previous Ford dealer, whom by the way I loved very much. For the same job they quoted me about $600 less. While it was still quite inexpensive job, they did have the best price of The other Ford dealerships I called. The service reps are amazing, very helpful, very personable, very thorough with their explanation of what's being done. They gave me a loaner for the first job which was a big one. My previous dealer did not do that. Never gave loners and with this second job they offered to take me to the mall or anywhere I wanted to go until the job was done again. My previous dealer did not do that I would highly recommend Bob rohrman Ford.

I finalized a deal in cash to purchase a new 2005 Ford Ranger FX 4 Off-Road pick-up truck from Bert Weinman Ford Inc. on Ashland Ave in Chicago, Illinois on August 11, 2005. I traded in my 1998 Ford Ranger XLT 4X4 that was also purchased at Bert Weinman Ford Inc. in August of that year. On August 9, 2005, I viewed my new 2005 truck for the first time. It was a filthy mess. I never said a word about its appearance at that time because I was assured on Thursday August 11th that it would be ready and prepared for delivery. I returned to Bert Weinman Ford Inc. on that date to trade my 1998 Ford Ranger XLT 4X4 in and pick-up my new 2005 Ford Ranger FX 4 Off-Road truck. After the transaction was completed, I had a chance to view my new truck again. Due to the weather conditions, I was not able to totally inspect the vehicle the way it needed to be because it was raining that day. When I went home and after it stopped raining, I was able to thoroughly inspect my new truck. I was shocked to find out when I lifted the hood, the engine compartment was filthy and the front grill where the top meets the hood was bubbled, faded, and cracked. The bed of the truck was covered with some sort of tree sap because the finish was so faded and dull they could not initially clean it. All four tires had an average of 25 lbs. of pressure when the maximum air pressure is 44 lbs. Also one valve stem cap was missing on the right rear tire. How nobody at Bert Weinman Ford Inc. ever saw the condition of this vehicle is beyond me.
