Hi, i just got my new ༺Lexuร༻ here in Pleasanton. As some of us ,i feels the anxiety when we get into a car dealer especially the "luxury car" dealer (unless money is not a problem). Went in there nobody greeted us at the front at first, until Mr Joseph Minster saw us and approached us and immediately my stress level is heightened, mind you because i went to many other car dealer before and i tell ye, some of those representative is not at all nice, but Joseph is exceptional. After he talked to us about lexus brand, i feel much comfortable, he is a cool guy, no rushing, patient enough with us ,the guy do it in the most proffesional way while making it easy for us to make choice and also incredibly knowledgeful of the brand (which is we found out later why 😁), my whole buying process was so smooth it makes me wish if other places can be like this too..well someday maybe (just don't hold your breath). My parents at the age of 84 and 78 FINALLY decided that they wanted a luxury car. I was excited to say the least after 30 years of them driving Corollas and Camrys.
I was very unhappy though that they had already visited a Lexus dealer and had made contact with a saleman.
I did not want to be committed to someone that was not of my choosing. There is a slight language barrier for my parents that I did not want to be construed as a weakness during negotiations.
I then met Felix Giles who had helped my parents a few days before. I am a salesman and I am rarely impressed initially by other salesmen. Felix was very cordial as you would expect from a sales professional.
We looked at a few Certified Pre Owned SUV's and decided to come back. Apparently it was just about closing time and the managers had already left so we could not make a deal anyways??
I was not sure yet about our choice of vehicle so I was not unhappy to leave.
Felix did something that really impressed me. We had talked a great deal about cars but also personal life and the sales business. I gave him contact info and told him that he did not need to call me. I looked him in the eye and told him I would be back. As one sales professional to another I assured him I knew how important it was to come back to him out of respect. He did not call to badger me to get me back into the dealership.
My parents went back and forth on pulling the trigger so we ended up going to Lexus of Carlsbad 4 times. I live in Orange County so this was not always convenient.
Before the last visit I had mentioned to Felix that we would be there on Tuesday. I felt a slight hesitation and he agreed to meet us. After pressing him 3 times it turned out that he was off Tuesday and already had plans. I assured him that Wednesday would work also.
I know what it is like to have to cater to clients and I did not feel like Felix needed to change his plans.
Wednesday came and we finally came to make a deal. Felix is a true professional.
We ran into a tiny problem with the finance person. We just did not vibe. Felix immediately got his manager Randy Del Prado involved and he took care of us so we could get the deal done.
Felix has the one trait that is almost impossible to find in a sales professional. He is "consistant" before, during and AFTER the sale.
He is a true friend and I feel that if we ever have a problem I can count on him for help.
I have been truly blessed this year. I purchased 2 cars and met 2 stellar salesmen. Now I feel like my luck is up.
I will be going back for more vehicles from Felix. More importantly I will be referring all of my circle to Felix.
There are very few sales people in the auto industry that I ever felt like I could refer my Circle to.

I contacted this dealer over a week ago via telephone about purchasing a 2018 Lexus NX300. Spoke with an Internet Sales Consultant Nicole and asked if she could send me some detailed pictures since I am out of state and will be purchasing this vehicle without actually coming to the Dealership. She stated she will take a video and detailed pictures and get back with me shortly. Instead of hearing back from her I received a call from another Salesperson named Roland, that he would be handling my deal but cannot send me any pictures since the vehicle is in the shop being reconditioned. He stated he will get the details of what’s being done and get back with me later that day.
With no return call from the Salesperson, I called back the next day and left a message for him but again no return call.... Next day which is now the third day of initial contact, I called and asked for the Used Car Manager. They put me to a Manager named Sammy Doumit’s voice mail and again no return call. The forth day I left another message for Sammy and again no return call. I finally left a message with the GSM Matt Shaffer and end up getting a call back from Sammy but not the GSM.
Sammy stated the vehicle was available but was in the body shop getting the front bumper repaired due to damage and should be back that day or the next and he will call me as soon as it’s in to finalize the deal.... Two more days go by and no call from Sammy so I called and left a message with him again asking for the update. I was paying cash and had a transport company ready to pickup the vehicle, just waiting to hear back from Sammy.
Now it is the third day since I left the last message with Sammy but still no return call and still to this day I have not heard back from the salesperson Roland.... I have never dealt with such an UNPROFESSIONAL set of people, from the sales person to the manager.
Two days ago I received an auto respond email from Nicole that the vehicle was sold but still no phone call from anybody..... I waisted over a week of my time thinking I was buying this vehicle which was a birthday present for my wife. Did not expect this type of Unprofessional Service from a Lexus Dealer.
I will not buy a car from this dealer and neither will any of my family and friends that live in San Diego area.

My wife got into a total loss and needed to get a new Lexus. We did lease one but LEXUS owes us more than $5,600 between what they were paid by the insurance and what my payoff amount was. It has been 2 months since they received payment from my insurance company but have still not forwarded me my $5,600. Calling Lexus Financial is an absolute nightmare. They always promise everything but never deliver. Hold times when calling exceed 40 minutes!! DON'T BUY LEXUS.
