We made an appointment for a test drive with Kent Owens. Kent was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the car (GS 350 F-Sport RWD) and the drive was long enough to assess the car. It was the last car on our short list and the only one we both liked. Kent proposed a price we liked so we bought it. Kent continued to instruct us on the features of the car and brought in Jesus to complete our education. Kent also brought up issues such as the expense of staggered tire sizes to insure that we purchased the car that was most appropriate/desirable for us. My wife said she wouldn't have bought the car from anyone else. In Finance with Mike Zinda, we purchased window tinting, paint/leather/carpet protection, and the clear plastic film on the hood, mirrors, etc. He suggested more add-ons that we weren't interested in. We felt they were suggestions and did not feel pressured. In fact, we never felt pressured during the whole experience and were treated very well by the entire staff we dealt with. This has been a great experience and now we have a great car.

I waited four hours for the representative from AAA to arrive to assess the damage and give approval for the repair. Dereck drove me to Enterprise to rent a vehicle. The AAA agent called the next day explaining that he was ill and was unable to get to Lexus. The Lexus dealer was not the cause of the delay; the delay was caused by AAA. The next day the repairs were completed efficiently.

As with every scheduled maintenance they had a loaner vehicle ready for me. They quoted me for the cost of replacing the tire and when the service was complete the total was less than what I was originally quoted. They stated that the tire was actually less expensive, which is always nice. All staff was very friendly and welcoming.

I brought my 2015 Lexus 200h in for a suspension issue on the front right side of the car after hitting a pothole. When I dropped off my vehicle, Janice was assigned as my service advisor, but I stopped hearing from her. After two weeks of not getting an update, I got a call from Kenny informing me that Janice was no longer working at their location. After two months of having my vehicle at the Lexus of Oakland service center, Kenny informed me that my vehicle was ready. Prior to picking up my vehicle, I informed him of a humming noise coming from the front passenger side of the vehicle. Instead, they replaced the front drivers side bearing, when the point of impact was the front passenger side. I ended up taking my vehicle to Lexus of Pleasanton, where they informed me that the alignment was not done correctly and that the front passenger side bearing needed replacement. Based on my experience with Coliseum Lexus, I believe that their staff have not been properly trained.

Although I wasn't exactly aiming to purchase a new car, the Lexus brand, and the sales staff were so terrific that I almost couldn't help myself. I worked with Sterling Knight, the salesman, who showed me a variety of cars, and he actually listened to what I wanted and what my preferences were. During the same week I visited Lexus of Valencia, I also visited two other similar level car dealerships in the same area. Honestly, I was shocked at how poorly those dealerships handled my requests to learn more about their cars. Only this dealership seemed to care about me, and to take the time to show me cars that were both what I wanted and in my price range. Ultimately I did purchase a car from Lexus of Valencia, and I am glad that I did. I feel confident that they will take care of me, and of my car, for years to come. Thank you Sterling, and Danny, for your help. You were about as perfect as I could ever hope for.
Airbag recall - Greglugar
I took my car in for an airbag recall and left with punctures in my seat. They didn’t point out the 2 tares in the passenger seat even though I noticed them as soon as I got my car. Once I brought this issue to their attention I was told to call back tomorrow since my Service Rep Jose left for the day. I called and was told that I would have to wait several days before I could bring my car back. I scheduled a pickup time at 1:00 with Jose once the work was done and Jose was not back from lunch to help me. The workmanship on the repair was below average. You can tell where the seat was torn. BTW no one ever apologized for the inconvenience of damaging my seat. Go to Longo instead.
1month later-Have the vehicle but no title(unable to reg.) - JennyC
I purchased a Lexus 350 from this dealership January 09,2018 and at that time the vehicle was paid in full by a bank check and deposited into their account. I paid to have the vehicle shipped to me. I have been requesting the title for 1 month. I have the vehicle in my garage and unable to register it in my state (NC). I am currently renting a vehicle everyday until I am able to receive the title and register the vehicle. NC and CA both refuse to give me a temporary tag. CA because I am registering the vehicle in NC and NC because I do not have the title. I have spoken with several people (Lia Agababian, Robert Silva, Debbie, Kaynan Khlepariand and Omid) at Glendale Lexus and continue not to get an accurate answer as to when I will receive the title I am entitled to. Please save yourself the headache and frustrations and purchase your new Lexus from another Lexus dealership. I will update this post if and when I receive the title. As of today (02/09/2018) its been 1 month and I (or my bank)have yet to receive the title.
