Kelly Honda has been my go-to dealership since I leased my first vehicle, and I am now on my 5th lease with them. During COVID, I unfortunately had to go through Herb Chambers Honda of Boston because Kelly did not have the vehicle I was looking for, and it was the worst experience I have ever had in the car and customer service industry. It left me with immense distrust in the industry (and I worked in insurance for over 8 years, so that says a lot). From that moment on, I knew that when my lease ended, returning to Kelly Honda was a must and they did not disappoint. In September 2025, the time came to change my lease, and although just thinking about stepping into a dealership brought anxiety after my previous experience, I walked into Kelly Honda confident they would take care of me as they had with my prior leases. I was greeted by Khalil McCarthy, who took the time to show me multiple models I had in mind with patience, professionalism, and a genuinely positive attitude. After some negotiation, I was introduced to sales manager Kyle Milan, who is truly one of the best managers I’ve worked with. He immediately recognized that I was experienced with leasing and went above and beyond to ensure I felt confident and valued throughout the process. I had my heart set on a 2026 Honda Civic Hatchback Sport Touring, which had just been released at the time and was extremely limited in Massachusetts, especially in the Sand Dune Pearl color I wanted. Without hesitation, Kyle worked to locate the exact vehicle out of state and made sure it was secured. Then Kahlil personally drove to Maine to pick up my new car. Together, they made the entire experience smooth, timely, and completely stress-free. I also want to recognize Ryn Benson for his support throughout the signing process, as well as for handling the registration and ensuring that a previous agreement was fully honored. He kept his word regarding a special order of the Honda “H” emblem we had discussed with the team and made sure everything was completed exactly as promised. His attention to detail, follow-through, and commitment to customer satisfaction truly stood out. The entire team demonstrated professionalism, transparency, and genuine care- qualities that are rare in this industry. After a very negative experience elsewhere, Kelly Honda fully restored my trust. This is exactly how car leasing should feel: respectful, honest, and customer-focused. I will absolutely continue to return for future leases and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dealership that truly puts the customer first and have honesty at their core! Thank you Khalil, Kyle, Ryn, and the entire Kelly Honda family for making my dream a reality and for making this whole process so easy. There truly is a reason behind their slogan, “We make it easy.”

We had a good experience overall and would definitely return to buy from John Durkin again! He was incredibly patient and genuinely committed to ensuring we were satisfied—not just during the sale, but even after everything was finalized. The financing process went smoothly, though we do regret purchasing the Zurich Shield. The application left messy streak marks and what felt like overspray bumps on the car. We were the first customers to work with a new leather repair specialist, and unfortunately, the results didn’t meet our expectations. That said, the team did everything they could to make it right, and we truly appreciated their effort—even if the outcome wasn’t ideal. However, we were promised something extra to make up for the poor experience, but haven’t heard anything further on that. The service department, however, left something to be desired. Despite being told I’d receive follow-up calls, I had to reach out multiple times when no one got back to me. Important details discussed beforehand were missing at the time of the appointment, and items that were supposed to be looked into ahead of time were not addressed. On a positive note, the actual repairs were excellent and the loaner cars were a big plus. The detailing shop also fell short—especially after the leather repairs required several return visits. We eventually took the car to a professional detailer, and the difference was night and day. In summary, while there were a few bumps along the way, our overall experience was positive—thanks in large part to John Durkin’s exceptional service.

He truly cares, is very responsive and really just honest/transparent. He lets you know if it’s the right time for your situation, or maybe to hold out if you can for a better deal. He makes it easy to fully understand the process and feel confident that you are receiving the best offer. The entire staff (and the overall vibe) is just friendly and chill. Everyone is just genuinely nice and not pushy in the least, and that’s a reflection of Josh’s leadership and approach. You always feel like the staff are trying to help you VS sell to you. Great service dept with Michaud Mitsubishi was another great selling point for me and Mark in parts has always gotten me any accessories or parts I may have needed with all my cars.
