I came in knowing what I wanted after being let down by another Lexus Dealership. Specifically I was looking for an IS 350 Sport in blue, and as stated, was originally looking at a different dealer, but after having the vehicle I wanted sold out from under me, I checked out South Bay. I initially called to see if they had my vehicle in stock, or on the way. They didn't, but I agreed to come in and at least take a look. The original South Bay dealer I talked too had to leave early but referred me to Mr. Brandon Takeuchi. I arrived late, but Brandon wasn't concerned at all. He actually took me to his office before anything, and had a pleasant conversation with me about my situation, my wants, and what had happened before. I told him my story, and he asked what I wanted from him. I asked him to show me some cars, and he gave me a text drive in an IS 350 they had on the lot. I instantly loved the car and decided I would like one. Brandon talked to me about my options. I originally wanted to purchase/finance, but in this case a lease was a better option for me. Brandon explained the situation and gave me the choice. I ended up with a brand-new IS 350. It wasn't at the dealer yet, it was still on the boat for delivery, but we did the paperwork, and a few days later I drove off the lot in an amazing brand new Lexus IS 350. Brandon was not pushy, he was not selling me a vehicle, he was presenting me with fact, and answering my questions. I made the decision, and I was not pushed or coerced in any way. I am completely comfortable and happy with my purchase. I've purchased a new vehicle 6 times prior to this, and I can truthfully say, this was the easiest, least stressful, most pleasant experience I've had. In this case, I didn't feel like I was a customer making a purchase but rather I felt like I was joining an elite club, or becoming a new member of the family. I sincerely appreciate the customer service, professionalism, and one on one experience I received from Lexus, but also from Brandon. I doubt I would have purchased a Lexus if it wasn't for his exceptional customer service. I was treated with respect and consideration. I was not treated as a mark, not treated as a customer, rather I was treated as a person, and a contemporary. I'm a new member of the Lexus family now, and plan to remain that way for the rest of my life.
