He sent a super friendly tech right away to jump the battery, and the tech then followed us back to the dealer where diagnostics were performed quickly. Well, we went expecting to just look but had the best sales representative and left with a newer 2019 (used) and affordable truck. Jake Downey did his job and more. He listened to what we wanted, he explained pricing and didn't try to up-sale us. I've always avoided buying cars from dealerships because I knew they would try to swindle us, but Jake's honesty and professionalism proved me wrong. I feel that he was able to answer all of my son's (new car owner) questions and made sure to check on us every step of the way (from test drive to driving off the lot and making it home) Apart from Jake's more than wonderful work, the staff was also wonderful (thank you too, Jordan Smart) and made us feel welcomed. The Larry H Miller dealership is well maintained, and had great air conditioning ( it's hot in AZ) and all the vehicles new and used were clean. If I had a choice I would give them a 10 out of 5 stars for professionalism, affordability, ability to answer consumer questions and meet there needs, and for overall welcomeness.

How Volvo Saved Our Daughter’s Life — A Grateful Mom's Story We bought our first Volvo from Courtesy Volvo in Scottsdale in December 2024, and Cooper in Sales was fantastic. From the start, he was kind and patient—never once did I feel pressured to make a purchase. He took the time to understand our family, making the whole process easy and comfortable. Not long after getting the Volvo, our 17-year-old daughter was in a terrible accident. I’ve attached a picture from after the accident. She wouldn’t have survived if she had been driving one of our other cars. Thanks to Volvo’s safety features, she did. I genuinely believe she wouldn’t be here today if she had been in any other vehicle. Volvo saved her life. After the accident totaled our car, I spoke with Dana in Finance, who treated me like family. She was so understanding and kind that I even told her, “I have to give you a hug when I meet you!” When we returned to buy a new Volvo, Dana and Cooper went above and beyond. They clearly explained the prices of two different cars, and although the dealership could have made more on the first one, they honestly suggested the second one, saving us thousands. Once we made our choice, Gary in Finance took his time going over the contract with us. He made sure we understood everything without rushing, which really put us at ease. If you think a Volvo is too pricey, think again. For us, it wasn’t just a car—it saved my daughter’s life. I’m incredibly thankful for Cooper’s care, Dana’s kindness, and Gary’s patience.
