Shawn Nguyen is one of the most honest service advisor. Unbeknownst to them, Buena Park BMW made an inexcusable mistake with my car and New Century brought it to my attention and rectified the issue. Never have I’ve experienced such a situation with any dealership. New Century has my business for life. Thanks Shawn!

Connor Morrison (Service Advisor) and Mo (Service Manager) worked as a great team in helping me with a somewhat complicated warranty claim. In particular, Connor really went the extra mile and did so both professionally & efficiently. As a result, I recommend seeking his advisement on any service related needs at BMW of SLO.

Just purchased a BMW M550i certified. I called the... - Cpatel
Just purchased a BMW M550i certified. I called the dealership once i found the car on internet. First they told me it was being certified and not available. Hour later they called and told me it will be available next morning. Got there sharp 9:30am after 3 hour drive. At 10am as they opened we saw the car and it was dirty. Hamid assured me the car was inspected and certified. He stated they will detail the car before i go home, after spending few hour with getting paper work done, finally the moment came for me to take my car. It was not cleaned and in same condition. Due to 3 hour drive home, i decided to take the car as is. A week later the front tire blew on the freeway, luckily no one hurt. Tow the car at BMW Encinitas, they inspected the car and told me this car should have never been on the road, once on the lift we could other tires with steel threads showing. Had to replace all tires. I called Rusnak BMW and left several messages for the GM. mr Christ, over five day period, he never bothered returning my call. This guys run a very bad dealership, beware they are the worst car sales people I have met, and i have met many in last 30 years.

The dealer itself is fine, Paul Simms in service is great, the only reason I keep going back there after several new cars.
The finance department's sales person Gregg is another story tho, a true conartist, he will lull you into scams you won't believe possible from a decent human being. Do Not fall into this guy's trap. He is all laugh and fun in facade, but will stab the xxxx out of you with the worst deals ever. I can't believe how he scammed me into buying something that I would never even consider otherwise. Ppl like Gregg don't deserve to be trusted w public trust and hard earned money in the dealerships and get cheated.
Bob Smith should know better!
I have a very dissatisfactory experience with McKenna... - RNA
I have a very dissatisfactory experience with McKenna Motors (South Bay BMW) services. To me, they don't even know the meaning of the crucial word "Service" means. I went out to the scheduled appointment time for the BMW service. I was sitting in my car for at least 15 minutes and no one care to even receive the car or ask me about the reason for coming. I was more unsatisfied because I had to go back home and resume my office work.
Here are my observations during the service visit:
1. Three employees standing outside the service office were cracking jokes, laughing out loud, looking at me as if I made a mistake bringing my car for service. I have no problem with them having a good time; however, I literally didn't "service" around the office.
2. Finally, I approached the 3 employees about how long will it take to get some help. They finger-pointed inside the office and told me that someone is finishing up with the paperwork inside, and he will come for help shortly (Since when the waiting customer is less important than finishing up the inside bureaucratic formalities?).
3. I decided to approach the gentleman inside the service office to listen to his opinion. I got the same feedback to wait until he finishes, and to get an estimate on time, I was told "when the paperwork finishes, then I will look into your car". Really? Absolutely, Somebody here doesn't value both the office time and customer satisfaction.
4. I left the gentleman's desk to see what's going on inside the office. I was surprised to see people blindly send me from one person to another. Contrary to my surprise, the gentleman was out to look at my car finally after about 10 minutes. I got little relief.
5. I had a mechanical warranty until 4 days before I went for the service. On another note, I took my car for service last year (Mechanical warranty in place) and requested to fix a mechanical issue in the car and they said they fixed it. Before going to the service this time, I noticed it is not resolved. The part on my end was that I believed the McKenna's CR and assumed they took care of it. When I brought their attention to the issue, they told me it will be $200 just for the diagnose, plus a labor charge to fix it, since I am out of warranty. Again, my bad for believing in their workmanship.
6. After all that, the gentleman is telling me that it will take 3 days for oil and filter change. Really?
When I asked about how will I survive without a car, and I don't have any other mode of transport. He clearly denied me of any loaner vehicle either. I have been using UBER/friend's help to survive the rainy days.
I wish McKenna do a better job in handling customer service as they believe in the dealership's ability to resolve customer's issues and provide them better service than other dealerships.
Unfortunately I had a bad experience of customer service... - Jvcastro777
Unfortunately I had a bad experience of customer service from Jason on service department. I had an appointment with my mini for oil change so I dropped off my vehicle on Monday (02-01-2021) I went inside to get assistance on some point. I approached the front desk of the service department. It was a gentlemen behind the desk his name is JASON. He didn’t make me feel as customer on his facility because I told him that I got a different quote for my oil change therefore he made bad gesture with his face that I felt uncomfortable. Then I find out that my vehicle is missing a hook tow cover on the back of my bumper. I tried to get assistance from the agent JASON but he wasn’t willing to help on my concern. Also, he refused to give his manager name I don’t know WHY. Hopefully, my experience at this dealership help to improve their customers service.
This dealership refused to replace a part under warranty... - mm
This dealership refused to replace a part under warranty and instead wanted to charge me $2500 to fix something that should have been free. I had to report them. This dealer is the epitome of what people hate about car dealers. Previously they messed up a simple oil change. Their customer service does not exist. They don’t care about their customers.

Had my 2016 550i there for service they ended up having to pull the motor to replace valve seal guides. It's been a few thousand miles since and my tires are now worn on the outside very badly, only 8k on tires, and it also leaks oil now and I'm having to put a quart of oil every week the car only has 45k miles on it there telling me it's common and I have to pay for any further repairs since my warranty just ended. dont trust this service center they ruined my car
