I went into Central Auto Group on Black Friday knowing what I wanted. I wasn't eager to head out to buy a new car because I know how stressful it can be. I was very satisfied with the outcome and the rep that helped me to make my purchase. My salesman Carlos, helped me to get the exact car I wanted without trying to talk me into a more expensive vehicle. When I walked in I was 100% against leasing a car because I wanted to know I had purchased a car of my own, granted I did not know much about leasing. The finance rep that was working that day took the time to explain in full detail the difference between making a purchase and a lease which was greatly appreciated. I am from out-of-state. My vehicle experienced its 2nd major, expensive problem within 4 days - its 19 yr old - and I knew the time had come to part with it and purchase another used vehicle.
I went on-line, found the vehicle I wanted, went to Putnam Ford, test drove it with Aaron, and he completed the transaction within a few days.
Aaron is honest and friendly, and I thank him from the bottom of my heart for his abundant patience. I needed to keep my NY plates, so an employee drove to NY and obtained a new NY registration for me, along with the 10 day temporary inspection sticker, until I drive to NY and have it inspected within 10 days.
Aaron drove out to the house, and brought me to the dealership to complete the paperwork, and, additionally, he drove to the house to put the NY plates on the vehicle for me. Talk about going the extra mile - it was 100 miles, and all with a smile and humor. Aaron you're amazing.
Everyone I dealt with on the phone, or along the way with the transaction were respectful, and polite -no pushy or snarky salesmen here.

I Brought my super duty truck here for service and have lost trust in this dealership. My truck went in and 1) over charged 2) not treated like a customer. When I asked them to repair my vehicle, and found the repair needed to checked as I had problems they simply treated me poorly, and belittled me. I took the vehicle to another ford dealership, and 1) they did not charge me to check the work of Litchfield ford 2) the repair for a light replacement was only $20, but Litchfield wanted $90 and 3) Litchfield charged me $65 to change airfilters, and the reputable ford dealer was no charge, they said " if we checked your air filters then why would we charge to take them out to replace". In the end my lesson learned, there are some dealers who price gauge and just will simply loose trust.......litchfied ford you earned it.

They are the worst dealership that i have ever worked with in my entire life. They pressured me intimidated me into signing a contract asking for more money. They gave me the car but won’t give me my Registration and new plates until I pay them the rest of the money that I couldn’t give them. They are sleez bags a scam artist who only want your money. I advise everyone steer away from this dealership. They are the worst and didn’t resolve my issue. They didn’t put me, as the customer first. They also never changed my breaks or gave me my detail.

The whole service experience was a joke! I was left repairing my vehicle on the side of the highway after leaving from the service department. They scratched the xxxx out of my truck, and after telling them there was never any follow up to try to resolve this. They brushed the whole thing off like it never happened. Since then I have gone to another Ford dealership and have been treated one hundred percent better.

I want to let people know my recent expierence with this dealership. I own a commercial landscaping company and have been a customer of saybrook ford since 2008. One of my work trucks recently purchased from saybrook ford went in for regular PM service. After I paid and walked around back to pick the truck up, i noticed a small dent that wasnt there when i dropped it off. On top of the dent in my new truck, my leather drivers seat was stained with grease. After returning home I opened the hood. The tech forgot to put the fill cap back on after the oil change. Actually dented my radiator when they closed the hood with the fill cap wedged into it. Charged me for a tire rotation and NEVER touched my tires. I spoke with the owner the following day. He was no help, actually denied everything but the dent. I will never spend another dime at this dealership in my life on sales or service. There are better ford dealers in Connecticut.

They charged over $350 dollars to replace a cam positioning sensor on my 2014 Fusion that I purchased from them. They charged 2.5 hours to labor to evaluate the problem when it the car was in their shop for 15 minutes before they came out and told me the part needed to be replaced. In researching what a fair price should have been, it was $110 to $170 range. They charged me three times what they should have.
