He was honest and open since I arrived. Process was quick and easy. Cadillac Marin worked to get the best pricing and APR for used car financing. Car is driving flawless and without issues. We had such a wonderful experience at Lexus Marin and would highly recommend. We came in to look for a new car as we prepare to welcome our first baby, and after going to many other dealerships in the area (Acura, Jeep, Kia, Volkswagen/Audi), the experience here was so much better. We worked with Christ Michaud as our sales rep and he was amazing!! He was willing to work with us to find the best possible deal and we never felt pushed/pressured. He followed up after the purchase too and assisted with some minor things to work out after the purchase. I cannot recommend him enough. He was so much more informed than sales representatives we encountered at other dealerships and most importantly made it clear he wanted to help. We felt like he was honest and transparent in the purchase process which wasn’t something we encountered at other dealerships.

A few weeks ago, I inquired, online, about a vehicle on their website. Almost immediately, Jose Garcia called me and was able to schedule a time for us to meet that day. When I arrived, Jose was there to greet me and had the vehicle on display. He was extremely well versed on the features of the car. The credit application process was very simple. Literally a QR code. During the negotiation process, Jericho stepped in to work on a payment plan that I was agreeable to. Jose suggested that we go on a test drive and I was sold. The gentleman, in the financial department, was extremely efficient as we worked through the financing and paperwork. Jose, and the team, made the whole process very smooth and effortless with his professional and friendly demeanor. All in all, I had a great experience with Jose and the team at Fremont CDJR.

This is the second Volvo we have purchased from Volvo Marin and both times we worked with Tex Harrison. We sought him out for our second purchase as we had such a great experience the first time. Tex is so helpful with all our questions and concerns. He went through the whole vehicle with us before we left to make sure we were up to speed on any new updates. Excellent experience leasing a 2026 Cadillac Optiq. Bart was great during the entire process. They were very fair and direct with us, so we were able to get the deal done quickly with the best price in the bay area. My toddler was sick and we asked them to do all the paperwork online due to the fact we had to stay home while my daughter recovered from pneumonia. The service, communication, support, and price were all 5 STAR +. This is the first time we buy a car from them and we will keep coming back to see them again when our lease ends. Bart and the entire team were outstanding from initial negotiations (quick, honest, direct), to support/delivery (online paperwork, vehicle advice, and even home delivery ! ). My advice is to please call them if you are planning to buy or lease a Cadillac in Northern California. Thank you, Marcos & Maria

UPDATE: After writing my first review, I was promptly contacted by a member of the customer service team. They provided me with a name and number to discuss my experience with the salesman, Raj, and explore possible solutions. I was connected with Kao, the manager, who was incredibly understanding and helpful over the phone. He sincerely apologized for the situation, emphasized their commitment to excellent customer service, and assured me they would address the matter internally. True to his word, I noticed a positive change in Raj’s attitude when I returned to pick up the car. Kao then generously offered to renegotiate the deal for the car I was interested in, and he gave me a fantastic offer! The next day, I came in to complete the paperwork, where I had the pleasure of working with Haig. He is truly a role model for car salesmen—an engaging conversationalist and a genuine car enthusiast. We had a great time talking about cars and motorsports for an extra 45 minutes! After Haig assisted us, we finalized the deal with Kao, who, to my surprise, is also a motorsports fan. Overall, if it weren’t for Kao and Haig, I don’t think I would have returned to this dealership, but thanks to their outstanding service, they completely changed my experience for the better. Huge thanks to both of them for going above and beyond!

Bought a '22 MDX from this dealer in Aug, '21. I chose this dealer because they were the only one, at this time, given the shortage of vehicles, that had the MDX with the tech/adv packages we wanted, in our second color choice and they were only charging $2500 over MSRP (other dealerships were charging $4,000+ over MSRP) The dealership was clean, it was easy to get to, it was cool inside until they closed and turned off the air. I was still in the finance department after closing which the sun beats down on at the end of the day. The staff was friendly. They had air hockey which my wife and teenager kids loved. 4.5 stars, taking off .5 for turning off the air while customers were still there. 5 stars - it appears they use one of each model for test drives so that they could sell you another vehicle that had no test drives on it (ours had like 1.5 miles). I liked that. I don't want a car that's been test driven all over. 5 stars to the staff - all nice, friendly, and accommodating (up to a certain point) 5 stars to the finance department. The guy was nice. They met my comp pricing on add-ons that I wanted. I will complain about car pricing separately. Now, the not so good. 3 stars. They had one finance guy working, so at the end of the day, I was waiting a long time to buy my vehicle, so being there past closing was not my fault. 2 stars - The dealership had two mandatory add-ons - a brake light configuration/part change that flashes your brake lights briefly when you apply them. It's a good safety item in my opinion. Also, they pre-applied Permaplate on every vehicle, forcing you to pay for it. I would prefer to choose for myself rather than have them forced on me so that I could try to negotiate the price or go elsewhere. Not only were they selling over MSRP, but they were forcing items on you and charging a higher premium, getting more profit off of you. I don't like that. 3 stars - While there was a shortage of cars, so not their fault, like every other dealership, they jumped on the band wagon to grab a little extra cash, cashing in on supply and demand at the cost to the consumer. This is the cornerstone of all American business' today (in my opinion) and well within their rights, but that doesn't mean I have to like it. I asked for $500 off the price, it was refused. Basically, they would not budge on anything and I wasn't bringing in a trade-in and I was using Acura (American Honda) financing, so more benefits to the dealership and none to me. 3 stars - I was outside, shooting the breeze with our sales guy after our purchase - nice man - when I happened to notice that the weather stripping around the large moon/sunroof was coming out. I guess whoever was getting the vehicle ready for purchase, or when they were applying the Permaplate before purchase, didn't notice or bother to say anything about that very visible issue. This meant I already had to bring the car back for it's first fix and I hadn't even driven my car off the lot yet. They did give me an MDX loaner car for the warranty work. I did not hate my experience here, I just didn't like the sour taste left behind from some of the less than optimal treatment given the dealership's policies and sales tactics. I originally planned to give them a 3 star review, but if you take the average of what I did score, it's closer to 4.
