I went to Weatherfod thinking I’d finally check out and possibly drive an X1, since it was comparable to the X3, my 328i was nearing 11 years old, but I still loved the way it drove, 2 kids now, needed something a little bigger. Four years ago I went to SB BMW to purchase a car but they gave me a terrible price so I bought it from Riverside. However, I decided to service my car @ South Bay BMW. Then last year I was looking for a new car for my wife. I contacted the dealer and they never followed up with me. I purchased a car from Keyes Audi. Everything was fine till my factory warranty and maintenance expired recently. Last week I went to for an oil change. The service adviser told me that I also need spark plug replacement and oil change. I knew about the spark plugs because I already changed them. I was quoted for $450 (vs $100 for labor and $80 for OEM parts @ 3rd party shop). We moved forward and the service adviser "Kyle Robinson" told me that they have a "service special" for oil change @ $99 (down from 250). Great? He started working on the paper and when I was about to sign it I've noticed a charge "Client states perform standard scope per key reading". I asked what does it mean because the price was higher than the actual oil change. He explained that they need to reset the computer readings after the oil change for just $116 on top of the $99 oil change. (I'm not a car expert but I usually research about cars and I knew that resetting the oil/brake interval is a matter of holding a button for few seconds and then holding it for few more to reset the service interval). I asked him if he wants to charge me $116 for probably 30 sec of work and he said " Yeah, but it's still cheaper if do that than if you go will the full price oil change $250... I confronted him and he was pissed and he scratched it from the invoice. (I was promised a complimentary loaner when I scheduled the appointment, however, he called an Uber to pick me up. That's fine ... Then a few hours later he called me to tell me that my car is ready. My wife dropped me at the dealership and I paid the invoice. I gave the valet the invoice and 15 min later I asked what happen with my car. Few mins later the valet told me that my car is not ready. It'll take an hour to wash it. They completely lost me as a client.

I've bought 2 new cars from Crevier BWM, the sales of the cars went fine, until I found out they did not pay off my lease in full. I wrote them a check for thousands to turn in my leased car/excess mileage and a down payment on my new car. Turns out Crevier kept the cash and didn't turn it into BMW financial to pay off the older car.
Now I have BMW financial's debt collector calling me demanding an additional $2,000 for unpaid excess mileage. I am being told that the dealer and BMW Financial are two separate companies and neither one is willing to call the other and both are passing the ball to the other. The sales team at Crevier will smile to your face, then stab you in the back.

Overbooking and long waits in service department. - kota
I would recommend this dealership with a caution to be aware that their service department overbooks their schedule maintenance and has you wait for hours until they get to your car to work on it. This has happened to me several times with the most recent one was where I was scheduled for a 1:10 appointment and was told that it would take 6 to 7 hours for CBS Brake fluid check and a Standard Scope Service. Needless to say I left without the work being done. I tried to complain to their manager but conveniently he was busy with another customer and could not talk to me. Later I tried calling him and other managers to complain but again after telling the receptionist my name they mysteriously were not available. I am now dealing with BMW of Ontario and they seem more customer oriented.

I have just moved from Monterey, CA, to Oceanside, CA.
I purchased my BMW Z3 Roadster in Monterey. I assumed that all BMW Dealerships gave the same exquisite attention to it's customers as I received in Monterey.
I was SHOCKED when I was treated so disrespectfully, and poorly by the BMW Dealership in Vista.
I am used to being treated like a high-end car buyer. Not so in Vista.
I was under the impression that all dealerships that sell and service high-end cars treated their customers in a respectful way.
I was told by Maya, the new General Manager in Vista, that he was "fixing" his staff and dealing with the disrespectful comments, did-organization, and poor service his dealership was showing customers.
A new General Manager needs to realize that this respect needs to come from the TOP!
I called to cancel my appointment with him, because I was ill, and asked that he call me back to reschedule. I called and left that same message with 4 different people, and 6 hours later, he had still not returned my call. He told me that he had received my message, when I called and he was the person that picked up the phone.
In talking to him, I was spoken over, and everything that I said was negated or an excuse was made.
I felt like I was not heard at all. I certainly was not treated like a BMW owner!
Bottom line: when you own a high-end BMW, you should be treated like the car that you have purchased.
Don't go to BMW of Vista! I felt like, and was treated like, I had just driven a beat up old used cheap car to a used car lot.
I will be driving to another city for the care of my BMW!

Incompetence and Indifference - TrevR
On January 15, 2018 my wife and I leased a 2017 BMW i3 REx from Hansel BMW of Santa Rosa. In California, this vehicle qualifies for Clean Air Vehicle Decals, which allows use of the HOV lane. This is a huge benefit of driving an i3 for us given that we commute 120 miles round-trip everyday from Napa to San Francisco for work.
When we signed our lease agreement, we were told by Hansel BMW that the application for the Decals for our vehicle had been submitted to DMV "several weeks" prior and that they should be arriving any day. Over the course of the next several weeks, we continually followed-up with Hansel BMW to determine the status of the Decals. Sometimes when we called or emailed, they responded, sometimes they simply did not. When they did respond, they continually told us 'we checked with our person who handles this and no Decals for your vehicle have arrived.' After 8 weeks of this same scenario playing out over-and-over, we wrote an email explaining the situation and our frustration, being sure to include multiple people listed as responsible for Hansel BMW of Santa Rosa on the distribution. This included Justin Hansel and Henry Hansel. Only then did we get a response, this time from Lorenzo Serrano.
On March 9, Lorenzo called to let us know that since the 19th (we presume of February) Hansel BWM has known that the DMV kicked the application for the Decals back to the dealership due to the vehicle being registered to my wife and I in the interim. Lorenzo said the dealer now needed to reapply for the Decals (why this didn't happen back on the 19th is beyond me) and we'd have to wait another approximately 10 weeks to receive them. That would bring the total wait time for the Decals to nearly 20 weeks. When pressed as to why the re-application didn't happen long ago and why Hansel BMW of Santa Rosa didn't disclose the delay to us despite our repeated inquiries, we were simply told "there's nothing we can do."
When you go with a brand like BMW, you expect a certain level of customer service and customer experience from beginning to end. Hansel BMW of Santa Rosa, based on our experience, is completely incapable of delivering on the promise that the BMW brand stands for.
