Why would I drive 85 miles to Phil Long to buy a new Forester...because I had an unsatisfactory exdperience at my hometown dealer. ai spoke to Chris Hamlin, the Sales Manager at Phil Long Subaru on the phone and he was right on with what he was able to do for me with product price and terms. I drove there and met Chris and he remained true to his word. He turned me over to his staff Geraldo and Roy who guided me through the purchase. They were both knowledgable and pleasant. Even when it was time to talk about extra options, no pressure. I had an excellent experience and I am very satisfied. It was more than worth the drive and everyone there was so nice. I traded in my 2022 honda accord hybrid sport today for the new 2026 model. I only did this because Reyes called me and let me know of a deal happening this month and i was curious of the numbers. Stephen Smith was then involved as well and the number i said i wouldnt go above they actually said they could do it. They found the 1 color in the car that i wanted and had it shipped over. I drove down the next morning and was able to walk out with the new model with the numbers they had agreed to meeting. Mario in the finance department was beyond amazing! These 3 gentlemen made me feel welcomed, heard and understood. Highly Highly Highly recommend Corwin Honda and make sure you ask for those 3. Reyes, Stephen and Mario are the standard that dealerships should stand by.
