Picked up my new Honda about two weeks ago from HQ Honda. Discovered that my VIN on the dash was not readable due to, apparently, something had obscured it. Possibly something spilled when the car was being prepped. Dunno. Popped in to the service department yesterday and met with Carlos Sanchez. Mind you, I did not have an appointment and expected to be asked to make one and come back later. Carlos could not possibly have been more helpful and accommodating. He sorted out the issue while I waited. That kind of customer service will go a long way in keeping me as a happy customer.

Everything appears fine on the tow bar installation. The car was finished when promised. I can’t recall the guys name when I picked up the car (his wife is pregnant if that helps). Maybe Mike Adams.. He went over the installation with me and he found an error on the pricing and fixed that before checkout, lowered the cost a bit. We haven’t had the opportunity to tow yet; but so far everything is great!

Not well enough staffed with knowledgeable PHEV technicians to diagnose electronic issues,thus repairs take longer than they should for a company that has been doing PHEVs longer than the rest. Although management will try to accommodate the customer with a loner vehicle, they just don't have enough of those to deal with the staffing issue and the backlog of repairs.

My Mazda 2012 was totaled. Hit by an SUV going 25mpg. I was airborne down a driveway ditch.I was in a one way lane and the SUV was in the wrong lane w coming traffic. Panic and hit me. Needed a car...ASAP.. Contacted several Mazda dealers in area. Made best call to Coast Mazda. . My hero, Brandon Mosely answered. I took a ride to Coast Mazda after the labor day sale.and met Brandon. We chatted and Brandon showed me the "perfect Mazda" for me. Mazda 2025 3 S Select .My 2012 Mazda 6speed manal transmission /55,000 miles gone. I agreed to buy but didn't have the proper ID for deposit. 2 days later I had a check for total cost of the car we negotiated...very good, price......but it sold..over labor day!!! Well Coast Mazda located the exact car from another dealer. Brandon himself drove to pick up my car and a trade with the other Mazda dealer..The entire sales and finance team handled the sale seamlessly even though the details around the third party certified check needed extra bank verifications.. I drove away that day in my new car!!! I have to mention that the difference between a 2012 Mazda with a 6 speed manual transmission and my new 2025 Mazda3 S Select is vast!!!! Brandon is the nicest and most patient sales guy for someone like me...in shock in losing my beloved 2012 Mazda...and dealing with insurance, FHP, towing crashed Mazda...rental etc. Coast Mazda team is the best dealer I have done business with in 30 years buying new cars .
