Good morning Thomas, I hope you are well. I have tried several times to write a review on dealer rater and for some reason the system will not allow access. I sold a classic Mustang I had for almost 40 years and replaced it with a new one. I live in the Nashville area and my wife found my replacement at Courtesy Ford just outside of Atlanta. I negotiated the purchase over the phone with Thomas who is not a typical car salesman. He listened, was attentive, and refreshingly communicative and responsive. By the end of the week my wife and I traveled down and made the purchase. In person Thomas was on time and took his time. I met other associates who were engaging and seemed to enjoy their profession. The payment aspect was seamless and there was no push to oversell unnecessary products. My wife and I left happy with a beautiful new Mustang GT Premium convertible. That evening, we noticed some damage with the wheels and the mirror and contacted Thomas. Thomas made it clear that he would resolve all issues. He initially attempted to deal with a local Ford dealer to resolve but they were unresponsive. Thomas proactively sent a driver, Marsha who was wonderful, with a brand new Bronco for me to use while Courtesy completely resolved the issues. After about 10 days Marsha returned my Mustang and a new journey is underway. Thomas and the team set the standard for customer service. They could have stood idly by but took the right path. However, he and the entire Volvo team made the process incredibly smooth from start to finish. I explained exactly what I was looking for in terms of monthly payments and my available down payment, and Dino and Eric worked hard to make it happen. They also helped me take advantage of military discounts, which I greatly appreciated. The bottom line: I absolutely love my XC60, and the customer service at Jim Ellis Volvo was outstanding. When I did connect with Matt, he looked over the numbers and we easily came to a great agreement. Cooper knew we were short for time due to a flight out and he had a car lined up to run us over to a servicing location nearby to see a Deep Green G63 just so my wife could see the color (car had sold). No "are you prepared to buy a car today?" stuff. Truly a fantastic experience and the dealership is amazing. More MB inventory than you can imagine. What would have seemed to be a simple repair to remedy a check engine light turned out to be more involved. I told the repair was complete, but on returning home the check engine light returned with an additional code. A two day repair turned into a 10 day repair(additional part had to be ordered). I think the original diagnosis would have indicated the need for the additional part.
