Jerry Adams, my service advisor at Shottenkirk Ford Service Department in Jasper, GA, took care of my 2018 Ford Escape, and provided, as always, exceptional service. The check engine light came on. I stopped by without an appointment. Jerry had the problem diagnosed and was able to fit the Escape in for repair. He arranged a shuttle ride home for me, and a pickup after the repair service was completed. This within one day. This kind of excellent customer service is typical of Jerry. I also want to thank everyone who was involved in making it possible.

I was visiting a friend out of town, about 110 mi from my home. Upon arriving, I had a awful flat tire on a Friday afternoon. I wanted to return home the next day, and it was clear that the flat augmentation tool provided in the trunk would not be able to repair the tire and allow me to return home. Home. I called Hyundai assistance for towing the car to the local Hyundai dealer. I called the dealer and discussed with the service manager what my problem was, and he inquired as to my warranty coverage, etc on the tire. Could assess the tire, but we both agreed it may not be repairable. He promptly investigated whether a replacement tire would be available. He concluded it was. And then he asked about my coverage situation. I did not know exactly, but we hung up as he was about to call my dealer in Greenville, South Carolina. Carolina. He was able to tell me shortly thereafter that I had good coverage and likely would not incur a cost of repair or replacement. Two and a half hours later, my car was ready to pick up with a new tire installed and at no expense to me.

I love my new Ghibli and had a fabulous experience working with Dick Ivey. I was anticipating that walking into a Maserati dealership would be intimidating (especially as I was in from out of town and traveling alone), but Dick immediately put me at ease with his kindness and genuine spirit. I appreciated the knowledge he shared about these beautiful cars in a way that I could understand. His great communication continued when a small problem came to light after the transaction closed- Dick (and the dealership) immediately worked to resolve the problem. I’m grateful that I found such a beautiful Ghibli, and especially grateful that I got to work with Dick! I will tell all of Nashville to go see Dick in Atlanta if they need a Maserati!

From the time I walked in the door to leaving with my new 2026 Chevy traverse RS was the best customer service that I have experience in years! This was the second vehicle that I bought within two months due to my first vehicle was totaled out by an accident not my fault. So coming back to Thornton Chevrolet was not even a thought. It was just an experience again.. starting with Clyde who is my salesman on my first 2025 traverse and then two months later on my 2026 traverse was just one of the best individuals that I met. Then there was Courtney after going to finance one of the best finance people that I’ve met that looked out for me and not for the company was Kevin.
