I purchased a new 2020 Ford Ranger. I did plenty of homework before I went into Skyline and was fairly sure of what I wanted. I worked with Carter Todd, who was great to work with.
I would say that my main complaint is with the Finance situation. I gave my information to Carter who then worked with Finance to give me a breakdown of possible monthly payments. I was given a breakdown of 60/72/84 months with a down payment of 0/2000/3000 dollars. I asked what the APR on each of these were and Carter didn't seem to know. Why give a customer numbers without having all of the information? Or being able to get the information? I was able to calculate the APR and it was at 5%-6%, which is very high. I have a credit score over 800. I almost walked away from Skyline as this seemed like a slap in the face. After waiting in the lobby for over an hour to talk with Finance, I ended up choosing between a 3% and a 3.5%.
Also, the Finance person made me feel dumb by not signing up for an extended warranty. If the customer says they don't want it, then they don't want it.

He was not only very clear in terms of describing the vehicles, but also entertained any and all questions without the least bit of patronizing. Negotiating the price and financing the vehicle was done quickly and fairly. Over the last number of days, we test drove many Minis and talked to numerous sales people.
