First time ever buying a Mazda and the people of Sport Mazda South truly went above and beyond to make sure that I was 100% satisfied with the vehicle I wanted.
Carlos Burgos was my Salesperson and he was FANTASTIC! I seriously cannot praise this gentleman enough for his exceptional knowledge, customer service, putting me at ease, and ensuring I was 1000% satisfied before I drove out of the lot. The first time I went to go and look at the vehicle I wanted, I explained to him, as well as the Sales Manager Ashley Ramsey, that I was ready to buy this car but I was going out of town for work for a whole week and asked if they could hold the car for me for that time frame I was gone, and if we could at least take care of the majority of the paperwork before I left on my first visit and then take care of the insurance and final payment after I returned from my trip, and they both said "Yes no problem!" I was required to put down a $500 REfundable deposit but I was perfectly okay in doing that to secure the car and, after negotiating the OTD price with them, they said the car will be waiting for me once I return home. Talk about true Above-and-Beyond customer service!
Another major positive significance from Carlos Burgos was that he took the time to refuel the car AND had it detailed/polished inside and outside before my arrival on the second visit to finalize the payment and insurance, including placing the All-Weather floor mats that the vehicle already came with upon delivery, which were in the trunk on my first visit. I remember the vehicle had less than 12 miles of range on it during my first visit so I greatly appreciated Carlos for going the extra mile (no pun intended) to refuel the car on my behalf. THAT is looking after your customers on a whole new level!
My finance expert Jennifer Contreras was also very nice and helpful in the transactional process and made it nice and easy. However, there were a few instances, when I was meticulously looking through all of my documents to ensure I got everything I requested and was required to have, where she forgot to provide me with copies of certain documents that I requested for beforehand. Nothing ridiculous but it was just something I noticed in the final phases of the car buying process. Nevertheless, I went to her and requested for all of the missing documents which she then gave me. In fact both her and Carlos sat down with me to make absolutely sure that I had every single signed document and legal document required before I drove out of the lot, which I greatly appreciated from both of them.
Despite the slight hiccup in the paperwork at the very end of my visit, my overall experience from start to finish, both before and after my week-long work trip, was phenomenal and stress-free, and I'm super excited for the fun-filled adventures that await me and my brand new 2025 Mazda 3 Sedan Carbon Edition AWD!!!
