We recently purchased a vehicle at Sam Leman in Champaign. Reese Smith was our sales associate and we could not be more pleased with the service he provided us. A very friendly and welcoming individual, Reese was very knowledgeable of the cars on his lot (in our case a Jeep) as well as the services his dealership had to offer. He communicated effectively and seemed to clearly understand our needs, focusing on them rather than what he had to sell. As me and my partner are probably 50 years older than Reese, he explained things in a caring way, never condescending. We felt both heard and respected. Once we worked out a deal we met with Johnny Lane who helped us work out the financing and any features (like a maintenance agreement) we might want to add to our purchase. Johnny was invested in what we wanted, not selling things to us. He clearly explained our options so that we could decide if we wanted them or not. In some cases he began with saying, “I don’t think this is something you should consider, but I will explain it to you if you wish.” We left with a purchase we are very pleased with as well as the comfort of knowing that Reese and Johnny are there for support if something should ever come up. We return in a few days to connect with Reese who is going to introduce us to their maintenance team. 1st time @ Castle Mazda Downers Grove - got a Warranty Safety Recall Repair Notice 7425E Traction / Stability Light may fail to light. Got this Notice in October but wanted to wait for the Technicians to get used to doing this work. Talked to Mike McWilliams the Service Manager to order the new DSC module & set up the repair date / time. Called to reschedule with Kyle Church & checked to see if part was in. Jake ( Jacob ) Vavra helped with the details - all great to talk with. My 2024 MX-5 Club needed this DSC recall warranty work. The Technician did a great job as it took less than we thought ( 2 Hours ) . To bleed the brakes / replace the DSC / recalibrate the DSC along with all the sensors for this module. Wish I could have met him !

I started car shopping on Chase website. Chase will finance any car they listed and send you to the Dealer that listed it. I chose three different Dealerships. The two of them said they didn't have the cars listed and tried to sale me other cars. I went to McGrath Acura Downtown Chicago. They didn't have it. I decided to go to another, but Mr Guillermo Perez, my Salesman, advised me to wait. He had another car I may like. I wanted a Honda Civic. He had a Honda Accord. He was right. While I waited. They found a Company to finance it. My credit wasn't that great. I drove out with a great car. I took it in because of a recall. McGraph of Honda did a thorough check of the car and found many things that needed repair. I took the car back to McGrath Acura. I couldn't afford to repair it. I was on my way out, but was stopped by Mr Johnny Fernan, the Manager of McGrath. He said I can't let you leave without a car. He showed me a Honda Civic, It was five years younger than the one I had. He found financing and I was elated. I had the best experience from this Dealership ever and I have purchased many cars. They made me feel like a favorite family member. I highly recommend them…AL Jam.
