I called around to several dealerships and checked online offers to sell our minivan. There were only two dealerships that offered significantly more than KBB, CarMax, and even the dealership where I originally purchased the vehicle.

When we realized we hadn't brought the title for our vehicle, we initially agreed to deduct the cost of a replacement title from the purchase price. They told us that if we were able to find the title and bring it in before they processed the paperwork, they would return that amount.
What surprised me was that when they presented the check, they gave us the full amount anyway and simply asked that we bring it by if we find it at home. That level of trust is rare these days. They could have easily held back the cost to replace the title, but instead they chose to give us the benefit of the doubt. Fortunately, when we got home we found the title. That moment only reinforced the trust and good faith they had shown us throughout the process.
The entire process was smooth and stress-free. AWAIS even gave me a ride home after purchasing our vehicle, which gave me the chance to get to know him on a more personal level. It only reinforced my first impression of him.
