We recently purchased a vehicle at Sam Leman in Champaign. Reese Smith was our sales associate and we could not be more pleased with the service he provided us. A very friendly and welcoming individual, Reese was very knowledgeable of the cars on his lot (in our case a Jeep) as well as the services his dealership had to offer. He communicated effectively and seemed to clearly understand our needs, focusing on them rather than what he had to sell. As me and my partner are probably 50 years older than Reese, he explained things in a caring way, never condescending. We felt both heard and respected. Once we worked out a deal we met with Johnny Lane who helped us work out the financing and any features (like a maintenance agreement) we might want to add to our purchase. Johnny was invested in what we wanted, not selling things to us. He clearly explained our options so that we could decide if we wanted them or not. In some cases he began with saying, “I don’t think this is something you should consider, but I will explain it to you if you wish.” We left with a purchase we are very pleased with as well as the comfort of knowing that Reese and Johnny are there for support if something should ever come up. We return in a few days to connect with Reese who is going to introduce us to their maintenance team. We could not be more pleased with our buying experience and strongly recommend connecting with Reese Smith at Sam Leman if you are in the market for a new vehicle.

With the help of multiple employees here I was able to make a vehicle purchase quick and painless. My current vehicle had been totaled out from an accident and upon finding the vehicle I wanted they quickly got the paperwork started and the vehicle was ready the next day. Bc they are an hour from me they were understanding of the later arrival time and Frank, my salesman, even picked me up from the car rental place. Not only was the vehicle just as promised, the paperwork was already prepped and ready to go, the manager was super helpful in finalizing numbers and warranty’s, and Sam the other manager made the entire experience amazing with a ring of the bell, well wishes, and a promise of excellent care going forward and I believe him to the max.
