My first car was bought at DCH Academy Honda and I had a terrific experience so I went into DCH Academy Honda on Monday thinking about test driving a CR-V and getting my Civic's trade in value appraised; I knew I was going to be treated right, no run around nor any pressure to buy. What I wasn't expecting was to leave with a CR-V on the very same day. Peter and Bart were my salesmen and they were amazing. Both made me feel welcome and appreciated when I walked into the dealership, answered any questions I had on the car, package differences and leasing options. Bart took me on a nice test drive for me to get a feel of the car, and answered my questions in regards to trim options and differences while Peter was able to get my Civic appraised as well as get a great leasing package setup for me. Bryan helped me with all the financial paperwork and was great, we got through everything quickly and in a professional manner. I've now bought 2 cars from them and I definitely plan to get my 3rd from them as well after this lease is up.I can't recommend these guys enough, if you want professional service and a car at a great price, you can't go wrong with these guys and this dealership.

I took my wife's SUV to Planet Honda in Union NJ and was in need of Service Work from their Body Shop and was treated with professional courtesy and kindness throughout the whole experience. The gentlemen running the Service Dept. Joe (Scibilia) was able to get us a loaner vehicle while my wife and I were getting escorted over to the Body Shop towards the Manager Paul (Ferreira) for repairs. Inside of a week & 1/2 our truck was completely repaired and back to new. When we picked it up, I was surprised and Happy to see that they went the extra mile by having our SUV cleaned up & Detailed by the Clean-Up Department. We were Absolutely Impressed with the way they conduct and treat customers regarding business. From the Service Dept. to the Body Shop to the Detail Dept. it was a 5 Star Experience, I would bring all my vehicles to this Dealership and recommend them to others.

From the moment I walked through the door I did not feel pressured or just another car sale. They delivered a great car buying experience, Dennis delivered over the top customer service from start to finish he was superb and worked with the team to get the car down to the payments I wanted to pay. The car color of the car I was looking for was not at the dealership but they were very accommodating and got the color I wanted. Before driving the car off the lot Dennis went through everything in the car to make sure I knew how to work every feature in the car. When it came time to signing, Mike was very through and answered any and all questions I had. I would recommend Coast Honda for anyone in the market for a new or -pre-owned car they are fantastic to work with!!!

The ride is so comfortable and all the features are easy to use. Honda hit it with the redesign. Our salesman Eli Afanador made it very easy for us. Run away fast, I have never in my life heard so many lies - from the top down, and the sales manager was the worst. He raised the asking price of a used car we were interested in. Went out of his way to be condescending and embarrass my 18 year old son. left that place never wanting to return. Even though the asking price was competitive, poor sales force.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! I would give this place zero stars if I could! I am active duty military stationed in CA. I purchased a 2019 Insight on 10/06/2018 to be registered out of state, and I have yet to receive my plates!!!! The dealership messed up the paperwork the first time and it got kicked back from CA DMV; however, I was never notified and didnt hear about it until I called the dealership multiple times since THEY DONT RETURN PHONE CALLS OR EMAILS. I was told that the paperwork needed to be done AGAIN due to THEIR mistake, at the time I was on temporary duty in FL; yet, they expected me to do the paperwork for them and send it back so they can mail it to CA DMV again. Since no cop wanted to do a VIN number verification in FL for a car purchased in NJ to be registered in CA (I explained all this to the dealership and was advised by the finance person to leave Florida out of it), I had to wait until I returned from duty to CA to spend half of my day at DMV. I sent the paperwork to the dealership a day later and they received it the 3rd day as per the post office tracker. THEY LOST my statement of facts, but of course didnt tell me because they waited for me to call and leave voicemails / emails AGAIN MULTIPLE times with no answer. Finally after soooo many attempts I got ahold of the DMV lady who explained that she was told by finance, that I was active duty and did not need the car SO my registration was NOT a priority. Why would someone buy a car to not use it? When I purchased the vehicle, I had mentioned to everyone that I dealt with, about my long commute since I live 1.5 hours from work. Either way, who the xxxx do they think they are to assume that I dont need the car? Also, I agreed to have an extra $1000 tagged on to the loan for DMV fees and I believe that they were purposely taking their time to keep a higher loan balance so that they can keep collecting interest. I have had to do more work than them and they probably gonna charge me their paperwork fee of $175 when in all honesty, they should be paying me for doing most of the work. I have yet to hear from them ONCE AGAIN. I contacted DMV today and they barely received the paperwork, today 01/18/2019 when I literally sent it in November and the statement for the third time around mid December (reminder: they didnt tell me they lost it until I contacted them). I have been on temporary plates for the last 3 months and I had to call and ask for those since they do not give a xxxx about their customers. Finally, I went on their website about a month ago and clicked on "talk to the Vice-president"....well I have yet to hear back about this whole issue, because he doesnt care either. I WILL NEVER purchase another car from this dealership or recommend it to anyone back home in NJ. I have lost all respect for their selfish/careless employees and their leadership (none).

Upper management force salesman to lie to customers on phone to have them come in. Then when you arrive they flip the deal and lie. Also awful place to work in, management and owner disannounce. Would not recommend buying from this establishment or working for them.
