The service department at Heritage Honda Parkville has been responsible, reliable, and relatable. I had the unfortunate chance of receiving a faulty oil filter during an oil change. Although the experience of receiving the oil change was great, roughly 4-5 days after my oil change, my car stopped on the side of the road. I had it towed to another car service shop to get a second opinion on the cause of my engine stopping. It was found that my engine was “dry”, meaning there was no oil left. Confused and frustrated since I recently received an oil change at Heritage Honda Parkville, I called the Heritage Honda Parkville service desk to discuss this situation. Mr. Steve Berman, the service director, had my car towed from the other car service shop to Heritage Honda Parkville to investigate the situation further. Mr. Berman was transparent, relatable to the customer (me), and had great communication. He kept me updated throughout the entire process. He advocated on my behalf to American Honda Corporation and took full responsibility for the faulty oil filter that caused my engine failure. The Heritage Honda Parkville team found a refurbished engine and replaced my engine with it. Also, during the long process, Heritage Honda Parkville provided me with a rental car for transportation. Since receiving my car back from Heritage Honda Parkville, it has been driving great!
